the vehicle was full of small debris and clearly hadn't been cleaned since the previous customer although it functioned for my purposes. The online sign in was complicated and time consuming. Ordered a furniture dolly, there wasn't one. Why offer the option if not many are even there. It was better in store. The guys were nice and helped fix the issue. Oh, and the system gave me a truck that has missing keys. The guys fixed that too.Marianne B.

Very friendly customer service, was running due to a location mix on my part. Received a polite call from the correct location asking if I was still coming for my rental, explained the situation and they were very understanding. Also needed my rental a few hours extra, was able to have that extended without any issues.KEVIN K.

Uhaul is very expensive because of the mileage. We couldn't get a cargo van anywhere else. Counter service is painfully slow. Tried to do the 24/7 mobile check in but the location barcode didn't work so I had to go in after several minutes trying on my own. Apparently there is "someone " to help you outside but they weren't to be found. Return by mobile was ok but it is ridiculous to ask if the vehicle is clean enough for the next person and to prove it was clean (it was more or less). It is your job to clean and sanitize between customers especially during Pandemic. All of these things would not be a big deal if the price wasnt so unreasonably high.Barbra K.

I really appreciated the communication with the store. I messed up the reservation ahead of time, but was given solid advice for the busy time that it was and things worked out okay. And when the furniture pads were forgotten, I was believed when I called about it and they made a note on my order. I really appreciated that. And, based on the final bill, I did not suffer too bad of a penalty with getting back 35 minutes late (traffic between cities is fun), so thank you! I have learned some things and know how to book better in the future!Esther B.

Your returns process. I brought my truck back, parked it and locked it. Brought my keys to the return box THEN saw the sign saying to go online to complete return which requires a pic of the odometer. But, being after hours I couldn't retrieve the keys to unlock it and take a pic. This was not explained to me when I picked it up. So, I called your help line and sat on hold for over 30 minutes and never did reach customer service. Absolutely pitiful. Hire more people to work your customer service. Eventually I gave up and left your lot after waiting 30 minutes on hold. Then I got dinged w a $20 fee for returning it improperly. Makes you wonder if that is intended to happen to generate additional profit? Not impressed.RYANEARL M.

When equipment was returned they wanted to charge me more then my contract p[rioce and couldn't tell me why. I left and asked for a m,anger to call me, never happened butr i did recieve a 0 value invoice completing the transaction as it shopuld have been. I also had to park the unit it a crowded lot with no assistance. I like youyr other locations you can get in and out better.ROBERTG W.
I rented equipment that wasn't available. Moving without a dolly is hard. But when I ordered it the week before, it's annoying. This is the second time that happened. Also, the self check in didn't work so I had to wait in line anyway. I got it all done at the end, but the process was a little painfulOLIVERMARK B.
Though I indicated at the time of pickup that the unit was cleaned, it wasn't. There was trash both in the back and front cab. It wasn't to the point I'd return the truck. The bigger isssue is that the truck isn;t street legal. There is so much backlash within the steering, you have to drive it like a boat to keep it going straight. There's also fumes or exhaust coming through between the cab and cab extension. I felt nausion after driving two hours straight. The price was right but the truck condition wasn;t right. It had 41,000 km, but it drove like it had 350,000 km. Again, ,the price was right.ALAINFRANCES G.

I finished checking in my reservation and was told someone? Would look after me outside and the customer waiting behind me completed her transaction for lots of supplies before anyone came to hook up my trailer. It was a painfully long 20 minitebwait and I was the only customer wile 5 other employees gathered around a cube van doing a check. Next time I'll most likely reserve with the Ottawa street store on the mountain. Plus my rental time started at 10:30 and it was 11:05 before I left the facility. Very similar to my last experience at this location. Hopefully someone can pass along a tip that customer service is important. GraciasPHILIPM H.

The absolute worst customer service I've ever had. I pre-booked through the website portal, I pre checked in with my license which had expired however I had mentioned this on the phone when I called to confirm my booking and was told this would be fine( you record the phone conversations so I'm sure you can find out who I spoke to. The female general manager at this location is rude. There was a male regional manager named Casey who was worse and wouldn't let me speak when I tried to inform him that I had a letter from the ministry of transportation of Ontario dated July 30th with a number which I supplied for him to call to confirm. He refused. He abruptly informed me my only option was to renew my license. He also refused to let me speak to him and then kept speaking after I had asked him to stop and for their names to be written down for me. I said that I would go to service Ontario and before I left asked the location manager to get me the list of the names of who I spoke to and that she supply me with a reason in writing as to why they refused and why they refused to call the supplied number from MTO document. This confused her and she was unsure of how to do this, she said she would call her manager back and that she would have the list ready for when I returned from service Ontario. When I returned she completely ignored me, trying not to even make eye contact. She passed me off to another sales rep and continued to tell the staff not to mess up because she was leaving. The gentleman who helped me was very polite and helpful however he informed me it would be 20 cents charged for every kilometre extra driven. On my receipt I was charged 40 cents so twice as much as quoted. If I can avoid using uhaul from now on I will. If I'm unlucky enough to have to use your service again I will absolutely be avoiding the Wellington location and be passing on my bad experience to anyone who asks. I will also be emailing.Lewis M.

Make sure the cab is cleaned and sanitized as we are in the middle of a pandemic. Possibly start putting some disinfectant wipes in each cab or disinfectant spray. There were coffee marks in the cup holder when I picked up the truck.Michael P.
