I rented a trailer , and a dolly . I picked up my trailer and went to go pick up my load. Only to find out that the dolly was not in the trailer. I ended up hurting my back because I was not going to drive back to the location at the prices of gas. When I retuned the trailer , I was not even given an apology . Not very happyJOSEPH I.

I would not recommend uhaul at all this app we have to use is awful. I tried to return my truck after hours and couldn't use it at all. It was too hard to understand I tried multiple times and had three other people try to. I wasn't the only one there are other customers in the parking lot also having trouble with your app. And now I have to pay an extra $20 to do someone else's job to return my truck? I will never use U-Haul again for this reason alone.KATHERINEJ M.

Staff should have real time information about COVID protocol and clean the common area. Looks like it has never been swept and dust everywhere. The computers were down so the staff was having a difficult time. Staff member Jay tried many ways to do my paper work â€¦2 computers & remote dispatch. All failed. In spite of a line of impatient customers almost out the door, he was kind, patient and apologetic. He eventually got me hitched up and underway. This employee was courteous and helpful and worked well under pressure. Keep this employee but not your computer system!!! LOL!MARTHA A.

The phone call left for me was less than desirable. I was late bringing the trailer back. spoke with an employee at 3 pm Monday Oct 11 arrangements were made to return the trailer between 7 and 9 am. A sassy female called and left a long winded message on my voicemail with which I was not impressed. I rented this trailer on Oct 8th , it rained Friday and Saturday non stop Sunday and Monday everything was closed city wise. So I was hoping to keep the trailer for the Tuesday Oct 12th. granted it was already rented. Only 1 5x9 trailer in your fleetMARKAC G.

The after hours drop off did not work. I kept getting an error code. Tried clearing my browser cache, tried in multiple mobile browsers (Chrome and Firefox) still kept getting an error code. I was able to login and see my order and select "return" but then got an error. I was advised I could drop off after hours but was unable to do so correctly. I called customer service but gave up after 30 minutes on hold. Took pictures to confirm dropoff but was not a good experience sitting in rain at 10pm at night waiting for customer service.CHRISTOPHERWALTE R.

I had booked a 10ft truck from 8:30am until 6pm. I had an email stating so. When I arrived I was informed that I had to return it by 2:30pm. That was not what had been agreed upon. So I was given a cargo van. The staff were good in doing their best. Also, not being a common thing for me to drive a uhaul vehicle, I was a bit confused when I went to fill up with fuel as the cap to the fuel was yellow. The diesel pump is yellow. I had to check the driver's manual to be sure that diesel was not what I needed.DONNA S.

The truck the gave me only had 3/4 tank filled, but they requested me return it with 7/8 tank. I filled to 3/4 tank which was the starting amount, but they still took extra charge. Another thing was that the charging outlet was broken. So, I could not charge my phone and when I return the viechle my cellphone was dead. I wad not able to return it online. Hence another extra charge was taken.Yijun C.

We were charged for an equipment dolly that we ordered and wasn't on the truck. We needed this dolly and had to make do without it. The blankets had been open (zip tie cut) - we ordered them but weren't charged. We didn't use them. The truck obviously hadn't been checked or cleaned by your staff. We had never used the app for pick up before so we didn't find the link until ten minutes after picking up the truck.PATRICIAA G.

The employee manning the cash was on his phone the entire time he was assisting me. When I was asking questions or he was checking me out, he always had his one hand on his phone and was staring at it or scrolling. Very rude, and it caused him to make a few minor mistakes.Robert E.

The online sign in was complicated and time consuming. Ordered a furniture dolly, there wasn't one. Why offer the option if not many are even there. It was better in store. Very friendly customer service, was running due to a location mix on my part. Received a polite call from the correct location asking if I was still coming for my rental, explained the situation and they were very understanding. Uhaul is very expensive because of the mileage. We couldn't get a cargo van anywhere else. Counter service is painfully slow. Tried to do the 24/7 mobile check in but the location barcode didn't work so I had to go in after several minutes trying on my own. Apparently there is "someone " to help you outside but they weren't to be found. Return by mobile was ok but it is ridiculous to ask if the vehicle is clean enough for the next person and to prove it was clean (it was more or less). It is your job to clean and sanitize between customers especially during Pandemic. All of these things would not be a big deal if the price wasnt so unreasonably high.Barbra K.

I really appreciated the communication with the store. I messed up the reservation ahead of time, but was given solid advice for the busy time that it was and things worked out okay. And when the furniture pads were forgotten, I was believed when I called about it and they made a note on my order. I really appreciated that. And, based on the final bill, I did not suffer too bad of a penalty with getting back 35 minutes late (traffic between cities is fun), so thank you! I have learned some things and know how to book better in the future!Esther B.
