With the corona virus, I was happy that there was an app system to help me register for a truck. My appointment was for 8AM - but I arrived at the location around 8:30 and the app was no longer working for check-in. I had to wait around in line for almost 30 minutes to talk to someone in the store. The van was ready to go and parked out front.

Friendly, helpful and accommodating. I reserved a trailer last minute only to discover upon arriving that it wouldn’t be the right size or function, my mistake. I was able to switch to the correct one pretty easily and was on my way.

I don’t see the value with on-line check-in as I had to go inside and wait for an attendant . The gentleman who helped me was excellent and hooked the trailer up for me. However, afterwards I had to go back inside and wait for my paperwork. The on-line check-in seemed pointless.

Amidst being busy due to UNCG kicking students out, it was good service for the most part. Some employees are helpful, some clearly don't want to be there and are on their phones/have earbuds in almost the whole time they're with you. I don't really care I guess. I'm most upset with the fact that I got charged a $20 "after hours fee" when my trailer was returned well before my 24 hours was up and it was returned well before the store closed. The receipt says that I didn't go to a mobile site to check in that I dropped the trailer off or something, hence why they charged me. But I was not told to do so, not when signing the contract, nor when I pulled up to drop the trailer and after unloading said trailer, the employee just told me to go on. Long story short, watch out for the stupid fees that will be hidden and charged on your card, you won't see them until your receipt comes the next day.

The truck that I rented was not safe to be driven. The turn signals, break lights, and reverse lights did not work.

Spent 45 minutes trying to drop the vehicle off with the app, I thought it was supposed to be easier but it was a huge pain and very stressful. Other than that the person who checked us in was helpful and the experience was pretty good overall

The tarp and ratchet tie-down were only used Once and both were inferior. The tarp was used to cover an appliance. I drove 50 MPH for 30 minutes. When we arrived at destination, some of the grommets were completely torn. Also many areas of the tarp were completely ripped and torn. I'm not expecting the very best product, but think it could last longer than 30 minutes. The ratchet tie down was also unusefulness. Couldn't get it to work right and then had to cut off to remove. Now, I approached the Manager Rashaad Stimpson and he said, " He could only reimburse me If the items were UNUSED! Now that is very poor customer service. He could have made the Customer very happy by apologizing and reimbursing my 18.73 or he make a customer very unhappy. Very Poor Customer Service.

This location was top notch I waited around at the location down the street (356 W Gate City) for 15 minutes after I was supposed to pick up my truck but no one ever came and unlocked the office door. This location however, I was in and out in probably less than 10 minutes.

I was not Credited with turning equipment in. Received 2 Calls that equipment had not been returned. I returned at approximately 2 PM on Saturday, received a call Sunday during church the equipment had not been returned, and then on Monday before mean that the equipment I have not been returned

Everything at the location was great.the gentleman was quick and professional. But this morning when I called, the first time, the rep was very rude. Told me nothing change on my reservation. I tried to explain we had snow and ice overnight so I needed her to confirm, she wouldn’t . I even advised how I kept trying to get in contact with the 1st location and no one was answering the phone. She still did nothing. Hung up on her and called and spoke to another woman who handled my call correctly and advised my location had changed but I still had the reservation. I called off my number 336-430-3304 so I believe you should pull the call, listen to it and coach the 1st rep. Had I not called back, I would have went to the wrong pick up location.

The truck was great ND in ok condition, the hand truck provided ws in poor condition and not usable, both the young men I delta with were very professional and helpful. Overall it was good service.

The self return process had a hiccup and was miscalculating my mileage, but the U-haul employees were very helpful and got everything sorted out for me easily. I wasn't impressed by the self-pickup/self-return system, but I was impressed by the customer service.

This was probably the easiest uhaul rental ever. I got there at 8am and was driving out by 820. They were nice and explained everything. I will definitely use this location again!

The staff that took the car at drop off was awesome. Picking up the truck after hours was a nightmare. After an hour of sitting on the phone, numerous selfies and driver's license pics, they called my mother at 10pm to verify me when they already had 2 cell phone numbers, I pre checked in online, my card and billing.. pick up when they are open or dont waist your time.

I had some major hiccups in the process of moving out, major misinformation that caused me some issues. I've always had great service with uhaul and this time I was extremely disappointed.

The entire process was smooth, from getting a storage unit to ending my contract for the storage unit. I didn't have any problems.

My reservation was for a unit that wasn't available when I arrived. I had to wait 40 minutes for the manager to talk to me after walking past me six times. To be told that my reservation didnt matter.

Poor management. The facility not clean with an apparent rodent problem and in poor repair. Smaller units not easily accessible- must use a ladder. I would not leave my property longer than I had to
