William S.This a great place the service was excellent on the first day. When I went to bring the truck back the bald head dude wasn't very polite at first or atleast I didn't think so. When I walked in to drop off first I heard was the police are on there way and that some criminal activity was going on type conversation. It was resolved in secs because I was actually coming in at the end of whatever was going on but the good thing is whatever happened they figured it out real quick. My turn. Clerk: (HI how.can I help you ) me: (I'm dropping off ) clerk: (where's the truck ?I don't see it) funny big ass window you can't miss! Me:oh it's right there next to the police car) clerk: (oohhh you didn't see all those signs that say drop off here? Me: ugh no I didn't. Anyway after that we just did business he was cool but he came off like a dick because I didn't see the signs ok it's like I just moved for 2 nights I'm tired and driving a big ass truck looking to see where to park while I was wondering if I should go park by the whole.shit load over there ? I don't know so I see space by front door and park omg like really. I mean there is no reason for someone to talk to customrs like that ever. I'm not his wife. And my kids do t even talk to me like I'm a fucking retard or something. I would still go back because it's not uhauls fault they can't control who they hire....

Johnetta B.The dolly I requested and was charged for wan not in the truck. Besides that the initial experience was ok. The returning of the vehicle was a horrible experience. I used the 24/7 pickup so I dropped it off during after hours. The website would consistently freeze while trying to process my return request. After failing to load and making me start over 4 times I called to get some help and was told I'd have an average wait time of 5 min. I was on hold for 30 min and eventually just hung up. After finally getting the app to process and load after the 5th time I was finally done and just needed to drop off the keys in the drop box. The box was on the opposite side of the building with no sign over it and looked nothing like it did in the picture. I was trying to return my vehicle for over an hour. That is the last thing someone wants to do after moving all day. Completely unprofessional and based on that experience I will never return or recommend to ANYONE. I intend to contact the corporate office.

Whem movers arrived with truck full of our stuff, the unit we were assigned was full with someone else's stuff. It then took nearly 1.5 hours for the employee to find another unit for my stuff , which cost me more money for the movers. I have yet to speak to general manager despite emails and complaint with customer service representative. The staff was rude and very unprofessional.

The manager called me because he thought those boxes had belonged to me. I think before moving out a manager should confirm on a statement that the unit is empty along with final, updated payment information.

The main woman manning the facility (I can’t remember her name but she was a woman of color with i believe light blue or purple dye at the end of her hair & the tattoos) was very sweet and helpful and was very efficient in her service skills. She was very patient and helpful when I asked to switch to a larger storage unit by showing me an example of how large the unit is before paying for it. She marked exactly on the paper map of where I needed to go to access my purchased storage unit. After a long day of packing and hauling everything into my truck and driving 30 minutes out of my original location, she helped give me peace of mind.

GLENN G. | Overall ExperienceTo begin with the move in experience at the Rockside (Bedford, Oh.) facility have not been great. When we were first assigned a unit and went to move, it was discovered that the unit belonged to someone else. Then we were assigned another unit. After moving into that unit and being there for a few days, once again it was discovered that the unit was attached to someone else. So, again we had to be assigned another unit and told that we had to be out of that unit in 24hrs. Thank goodness we hadn't moved everything in at that time. In addition to that, the first person that signed us up supposedly attached an alternate name to our account and we haven't a clue who this person is. Seemingly, they just found someone who's last name is the same as ours and attached them to our account. At the time of purchasing the unit we were never asked for an alternate name. This name was discovered when purchasing our current unit. We were also told that the name cannot be removed from our account until we renew our contract. I think this is ridiculous!!! Perhaps I do not understand the process. It seems that it should just be a matter of deleting the name and making the correction. This was no fault of ours!! So needless to say, the first impressions have not been favorable. The professionalism is really not great. Seriously, thinking about finding another storage company, especially, if this type of service continue. This is our third move in less than a month. We will see what happens next! Hope that we can stay put. We have also been customers for several years at the Broadway facility in Bedford, Ohio and have never experienced this type of service. Really not happy!!! Currently, unless things change, I will not recommend this facility. Thank you for taking the time to read this info. I would appreciate a response.
