I specifically came in to make sure of the total payment, was told it was one price and then days later they charged me again after assuring me I wouldn't be charged any more. This was the second time in one rental they took more money than what was told to me. I was told it was $35 upon pick up and was charged $60, then 4 days later I was charged another $20. Uhaul needs to figure out their prices before charging people 3 times for the same rental vehicle and lying about prices.

The manager on site was very helpful and kind when we wanted to see if a larger truck was available at other locations. Romello, the clerk at the desk, was kind, helpful and had a wonderful sense of humor which brightened my day.

The installer at this facility was installing a 5x8 trailer to my 89 Mercury Grand Marquis. It appears as I was watching him hooking to my car he did it correctly. I made it just 3 blocks from my house and I felt a bump from the rear of car, got out found that the trailer was off the hitch. The installer forgot to lock the cap to the hitch ball, I call that store and told them what happen, agent at store told me that his installer forgot to lock cap screw to the ball. Ask me can I make it safely back to store and I told him that I couldn't, then the call was dissonnected. As I'm stuck in traffic I had to Call my son to come to me, he's knows about hitching trailer to vehicles and put the trailer back on the ball and lock it securely. I then continue on my way to do my haul, once I returned to dropoff trailer I saw the installer who on install the trailer to my car. I told him how could you forget to secured the trailer to the ball, he look at me and said "what happen". Then I told him what happen and I call the store, and the other agent on duty that was there told me you forgot to secured the trsiler to ball. I told him luckily there was no damage to my car or bumper, the only response I got from the person who did the hookup was this. "Did you paid by card or cash". What? That all he was concern with was payment? Not once did he offer a apology, sorry, or no charge for my inconvenience. I was in disbelief and upset, that I just what him unhooked the trailer and I left. One thing I notice with this person who hooked up my trailer, he was into cell and not paying attention to what he was doing. If he was focus on the job on hand and not his cell. He would've been giving me the service I deserved and hooked up the trailer correctly. And I deserve compensation for my inconvenience and I should receive a refund. When I came in to rent the truck the young lady was taking care of her personal business on her phone and the truck was not sanitized I had to ask the person that take care of the trucks to sanitize the inside of the truck and he just did a wipe down

Daughter was attempted car jack victim right in the parking lot - 1 minute after I entered the building to rent the 10 foot truck - @ 10:45 am on Aug 30th Thank God the perp didn't see the big dog in back seat....... Management did nothing I rented Truck to drive to Philadelphia on Aug 30. I was given 8 total days - they started calling and leaving threatening voicemail and emails the next day. Their people behind the counter must be inept by incorrectly entering Return date How could I drive to Philadelphia and back In 1 day? With my 92 year old mother? They need to protect their parking lot. Awful awful experience

Not much that you can change, but not having an on-site parking lot for short-term rentals makes me not want to use this location over other location in the area (like the one on capital, etc)

Whoever is in charge of online booking. Make sure u close the blocks so that there are not overlapping booking times and double booking.

Ordered two dollies to move a large piece of furniture. Whole reason I rented the truck/van. Paid for them. Ordered well in advance. Rent the truck and they tell me they don't have them. Why do I need the truck if I can't move the item I need to move? I had to drive to a different uhaul location and BUY furniture dollies. Cost me $$ in mileage on the truck to drive to the other location and $$$ to buy the dollies. Also the man I dealt with was nice but his mask was around his neck and he kept putting his hands in his mouth. He handled my phone and driver's license—which was worrying.

My experience was TERRIBLE. I got to my pickup more than half an hour late- but I thought my truck was reserved (also spent 40min in line to try and get helped in the first place). Turns out they gave my truck away and were fully booked for the rest of the day and the next. Then they sent me to another Milwaukee location where they said they had a truck- on Capitol Drive (in Shorewood). The employee there was annoyed (at the State St location) because she let me know they had no trucks. That they constantly send customers their way in order to not deal with them. SO FRUSTRATING to get ping ponged around. Now I'm driving to the next state over in hopes of getting a truck and meanwhile I'm on the phone with UHAUL customer service, they tell me my original location indeed had a truck available. I pull a u-turn to my original location and got there exactly at the newly updated reservation time (since they never cancelled my original-at least one good thing they did...). Then I'm there and it takes exactly half an hour to get to the desk because they only had one person ‘assisting' customers while the line was practically out the door, I was afraid I'd hear “you're more than half an hour late” spiel again. Finally got the truck though. All in all it took three hours. I was sooo annoyed, angry, frustrated. The State street location did not take the time to explain things to me and instead were condescending. They were low on staff, worked at a turtles pace, did not have their masks on properly or enforce the rule with other customers, and talked down to anyone they ‘assisted.' WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER

I have overall been treated well at this location. However, I am very uneasy that the employee used her phone to take a picture of my drivers license. It takes a lot of faith in employees of any business to allow that to happen. I will have to think very carefully before I go back to this place if that practice continues.

Once I arrived to the u it there was a lock on the one I was suppose to be using. I emailed and called. Someone was suppose to come cut the old lock. We’ve been waiting g for over1:45 min
