For the first 3 weeks that I moved my items in. I had a lot of cockroach problems! I was frustrated but U-haul and the staff did address the situation vigorously and treated my unit 4 times a week for 3 weeks. I was happy that they took my situation seriously but very unhappy that I had a problem with cockroaches for nearly a month. The staff and management was very accommodating, however, and took my frustration seriously and assured me It was being addressed. It was being addressed and by the time I moved out one year and one month later, I no longer had any issues with cockroaches.

Do not rent vans with damaged tires. Low pressure warning dismissed by employee as bad sensor. Screw in the tire caused hours of lost time inflating tires many times over 3 days.

While I put my objects in storage I left doors open until another customer came and promised he would be sure to close doors. Well he didn't. I was yelling out of 3 rd story windows To get someone to close doors. Never ever will I close doors to allow use by anyone while I'm at facility. In stead of me contacting you about my dispute, you can contact me and. Convince me not to shoot your company down by every chance I get.

That I would be charged a late fee because it was supposed to be back at 7:30 a.m. it was supposed to be that night I wanted it until Tuesday.

Tonya I.I would not recommend working with U-Haul. I ordered a U-Box to have shipped from Alaska to the States. It was a great size and seemed a decent price. Watch out because U-Boxes go from one price one day to a drastically more expensive price the next. The U-Haul employees were nice at my local starting U-Haul. However, problems only started right away. First, the locks on my U-Box didn't even work right. So my U-Box door barely latched with all of my valuables inside. Then, I only had access to the box for a few days before it sat at my local center for about a month (but I wasn't allowed to access it). It just sat available until two days before it arrived in my contract. The U-Box ended up being six days late, with no communication on the location. I had to reach out to find out if it would be late. No one contacted me first. It is only a $ 50-a-day late fee, which ends up not compensating, especially if you have to get a hotel or mattress to accommodate not having your U-Box. Also, when contacting customer service, I was told conflicting information and could not be told where my U-Box was. Finally, it did show up. I packed everything in my U-Box, so all the goods arrived safely without damage. All I have to say is this caused an extreme headache. I feel like I lost extra money because of U-Haul when I could've used a different company. I wouldn't recommend the U-Box unless U-Haul does better. It was a great option up until everything that I experienced.

Also if an employee is on the phone with someone they should be holding a phone not sitting on speaker phone so the whole store can hear. After having my keys thrown to me and the unacceptably rude encounter I had with your employees this will be the last time myself or anyone I know uses this specific facility. You guys really need to work on your employee customer relationship because if I was running this location everyone I came in contact with expect the kid that took the keys from me during drop off would be fired.

Besides long hold times on its website, no one answering telephone calls, chat only communication, and ill-advised solutions. In desperation, called the local delivery company to verify order and add unloading services to my U-Haul order. Otherwise, U-Haul costs (vs PODS high costs & no moving supplies or loading-unloading help) & online communication including ongoing progress notifications & receipts, made the moving experience from Colorado to California efficient. Would use U-Haul U-Box services again. Thank You

The store's customer service was in competent putting and leaving me on hold for 30 minutes at a time. This delayed my move an extra two days. It was very frustrating because I was bounced around to different people too. On the phone with U-Haul for probably about 3 hours combined.

I requested a cargo van, and they didnt have one nor was I notified until I arrived at the location- I was upgraded to a 10' truck but I wasnt able to accomplish what I needed to bc the vehicles clearance. The truck itself had weather stripping come loose and a loose head light, the photo of the vehicle showed neither issue. All in all- save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

An agent named Chapelle told the person on the phone with me to report the van stolen. I believe I was on the phone with the GM who told Chapelle she understood why I was upset and that she could get my information over the phone. The estimate for my rental, also produced by Chapelle, did not match my original estimate. I did an in-town rental for $20 + the cost per mile. I was charged $89 + the cost per mile. When I returned my vehicle, Chapelle was who checked me in. I asked for a breakdown of the $89, which she did not provide. Her explanation of why it was $89 did not make sense and said it included tax, however tax is clearly called out as a separate line item. She flatly refused to discuss or breakdown the $89, which led to a dispute. During the dispute, a male customer nearby with none of the context entered my personal space aggressively and started to yell at me, repeating the same thing Chapelle had said and telling me I'd better calm the fuck down. Chapelle just smiled at this. This location is awful. The GM seemed good, Chapelle was terrible at her job and customer service. I am following up further for resolution. Do not go to this location unless you want to be treated poorly, overcharged, and threatened by other customers with the approval of the employees.

The inside elevator doors would not stay open they would close on me while trying to come in and out and it would hit me on the head. There was also a few times that I would be at my storage unit and trying to call the elevator and was stuck on the second floor for over 10 minutes. There was also no bathroom on the second floor for my daughter who is potty training to use. During the summer there is no ac on the second floor so it got hot very quickly. And to be completely honest, using the smallest unit available it was way to expensive. I will not ever reccomend this uhaul storage to anybody, and will not ever come here again.
