The manager was arguing with his teammates telling them to clock out which I thought was very unprofessional. His name starts with a B black male forgot his whole name. He was also kind of rude but he straightened it up after he thought maybe I will get a attitude back with him. It was also hard to get a paper receipt which I don't think should be that hard. I cannot see the text when the receipt is sent to my phone that's why I asked for a paper receipt. I think that he needs to go through some Management training because he really does not know how to manage his people. Another time when I went to this location one of his teammates were fighting with one of the customers outside. I would be going to another location if it was not so convenient for me to go there. Also I still in line for such a long time because there was only one person at the desk when there was 20 people in line. I think the manager should should have stepped in and opened up another register but that never crossed his mind. Definitely think y'all need to train this guy.

The attention of a boy with glasses was very bad, very rude, I would not return to that place because of the terrible attention I received. Only one brunette girl was the one who treated us wonderfully. 10/10 for her.

Clerk did not seem to know we were entitled to one month free storage due to our one way move. She decided that she would give us one month free. Parking is very tight to unload a truck the door is in a corner and the wide doors are locked at 630 pm. Our unit is on second floor and their is a elevator but no stairs. Elevator gets stuck on floors and no way to get up or down. This is a safety hazard. They have emergency exits but can not use for non emergency.

After using your facilities for over three years missing zero payments because of course, yeah would sell my stuff. I believe the previous staff were the ones trying to keep my business because if I was late, they would call me and remind me to pay my payment, which I would do right then, which happened quite often until this last time I came in there was a lock on my storage instead of them calling me for the payment. I put out after being a long-term customer of a storage that really had junk in it and that is the reason I moved out you Now for not having another three years of me paying $100 a month for storage that had useless stuff stored. But you can thank them for me because I’ll be saving that money because all I did was trash the stuff in the storage and now no more bill!

Inside the truck were three loose handcarts, one dolly, and multiple blankets scattered around, when I opened up the back. When driving away from the depot to my house, I could hear all this banging inside the back and it was only when I got to my place. I opened up the back and found everything inside.

I'm saying I will refer people because it wasn't terrible, but got the truck on Friday used for 3 hours so from 9-12 returned it with extra gas, clean and with no damage. On Sunday 05/19/24 I get a call saying I didn't return the truck, I rented it on Friday 5/17/24 only used it 3 hours. Scared the crap out of me and I felt like I was being accused of stealing, not ok. I went to the rental place and the truck was where I parked it on Friday 5/17/24. I guess what I'm saying please have the people working there check in the trucks as soon as they get turned or within an hour so that doesn't happen again. I was very upset. Thank you

AC did not work in truck. Unclear messaging to advise me that U-Haul took it upon themselves to change my pickup location. There were closer locations available to where I was using the truck and I had to pay for the added miles. The truck was also on empty when I arrived showing “13 miles to empty”. Not fun driving out of my way to instantly have to find a gas station.

Truck was almost empty, filthy interior. Shocks need replaced desperately, felt every single bump on the road. Did not receive the dolly we ordered on pickup, we had to go the next day to a different location and get the dolly.

This was on Sunday May 5th 3:30ish. Maria was great on the phone and better in person. When we dropped off the van it was like 5:10 and the gal with the short hair and cap took the keys and checked us in. Best customer service!! Thanks!

We reserved a 6:00 a.m. pick up. And we're not allowed to pick up the truck till 9:00. They're mistake ended up costing me over $300 had to pay my employer to sit around for 2 hours lost my rate at my storage place. They totally screwed me over

Unfortunately I had a rough experience. I would say most of it was because there is disconnect between what was done online and what was done at the store. I ordered a one-way truck online for 7 am and I would return it to a location closer to where I moved.The day before I was told that my selected pickup location had switched. I arrived at 7 am and even though I completed everything online to have a truck ready I still had to wait 30 minutes. I was then told that I had to bring the truck back to this location or they would have to find another location that had a truck that could go one-way. I did not have time to do this so I I agreed to bring the truck back to this location. I was also told that I needed to be charged more because it would require a new contract. I agreed because I really didn’t have a choice at that point. I had people coming over to help me move at 8am. I was given the truck keys and was took to drive up to the front area. It had snowed that night and there was snow all over. I had to then brush off the snow with my shirt and let the truck warm up a bit so I could drive it safely. I had been dreading getting a truck in the first place and this whole experience made it worse. I had specifically picked a fast pickup so I could get my truck and get to my house to start moving my stuff. It was very frustrating and on top of that, I had to pay more. I really felt like I had no choice, but to do exactly what I was told. As I said in the beginning, it’s not completely the fault of this location. My reservation was just assigned to them. There really should be better communication. I gave it two stars because they were very efficient at checking me in when I returned the truck. Someone took the keys and asked if I needed a receipt and then let me go. This is what I was expecting when I initially picked up the truck. Hopefully I won’t move again for a long time but when I do, I will not use U Haul again.

"Dear U-Haul team,I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent rental experience at your location. Not only was the truck provided to me in a very dirty condition, but the service at the counter was slow and inefficient despite the busy environment.To add to this, I took the initiative to clean the truck thoroughly before returning it, which took almost an hour of my time, even though I didn't have to. This was done in good faith, but unfortunately, the situation only worsened upon returning the vehicle.Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave the truck at the hospital briefly, as I am the only authorized driver on the contract. My wife personally spoke to your manager, who assured us that everything would be taken care of. However, over a week has passed, and I have not received any follow-up despite numerous attempts to contact your office.Moreover, the lack of transparency regarding the security deposit until the very end of the transaction was unexpected and concerning. I was not informed about the security deposit until after I paid and signed the contract, which resulted in an unexpected additional cost of $100 on top of the gas mileage payments.I have made multiple calls to your call center, spoken with representatives, and left detailed notes about my situation. I was even assured over the phone that everything was noted and taken care of, which was confirmed by the representative. I have a recorded conversation as proof of this assurance.The disregard for my situation and the failure to address my concerns are completely unacceptable. I urge you to rectify this situation promptly, refund my security deposit, and address the overcharges. It is disheartening to be treated this way as a customer, and I hope we can resolve this matter swiftly.Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.Sincerely, Jamal elmasri, Aurora, Colorado

Overall not a great experience. We asked to extend our reservation and were informed it’s $90 to keep the cargo van overnight, on top of the hidden fees. We were charged a $25 cleaning fee before they even inspected the van. Waited outside for 15 minutes in the drop off zone to do our check in just to go inside and hand them keys anyways, when the sign clearly states to wait outside. The team wasn’t very nice during any of our interactions either.

We drove just 8miles, and refill the fuel to previous condition (1 gallon) and after one hour they charge my $30 for fuel service and $97.50 for 15 gallon of gasoline????? They actually just still my money.

I rented a U-Haul van. The van (equipment) was clean but not well maintained. It had a cracked windshield on the driver side. The airbags needed servicing and the vehicle needed an oil change per the message displayed on the dash. Overall, the vehicle was fully functional and served my needs.

Considering you didn't disclose the extra charges I would get for Safe Move Plus and return date and time I will never use your location again. The entrance to the facility is basically in an alley behind several buildings, making it uncomfortable due to the area and vagrants asking for money in exchange for “helping.” We noticed a couple of them piggy backing into the facility after customers used a code to open the entrance, when gaining access to the building. We came during the day and it did not feel safe, which I could only imagine it would feel even less safe after dark. We were stuck on the after unloading our first load into our unit on the second floor. Presumably, “another customer had not closed the door on the 3rd floor after exiting the freight elevator.” We paged the helpdesk and were told they would be right over… we could hear other customers on the first floor getting frustrated and yelling up the elevator shaft for someone to close the door so they could also use the elevator. After 15+ minutes, we finally heard the office tenant yell up to “take the emergency exit to get out.” Once we got outside, the tenant stated she could not gain access from the outside because her co-worker had taken the key with them when they left. She also said that they had been having issues with the elevator not working properly for “a while now..” We got stuck the second trip up to our unit and had another person on the first floor check the elevator door, to find out it was closed, but not sending the elevator up. They opened and shut the elevator again, and immediately it sent the elevator up. This is a frustrating and inconvenient flaw or operational issue that wastes a great deal of time and patience during an already unpleasant chore.. moving.. it would be helpful if there was a stairwell inside of the building to gain access between floors in these elevator door sensitivity instances. We were eventually able to finish our move in and monitored the elevator doors very closely.. moving as quickly as possible to avoid having to close them between moves.. we were lucky it wasn’t a very busy time and no one was inconvenienced by us holding up the elevator between trips.

I am delighted with my experiences yesterday, Sunday, 2-18-2024...I had the good fortune to be helped by General Manager Jasmine Gardner. She was suberbly competent, quick, and totally well-versed in the business. I just rented a storage room, and a van for a day's move. I thought I would need it longer, but got the moving done in just one day. Early return? No problem. From what I have seen, this facility is a first-rate operation.

The staff was actually friendly the general manager was unprofessional and unpleasant. The way she spoke to me was rude and she didn’t follow up in a timely manner. She tried to charge me a late fee and threaten me with a lien on my property after all my items were gone. I had to file a formal dispute in order for a storage unit that I only used for a month and three days. I was disappointed because I have always used that particular uhaul facility for all my moving needs. As long as she manages that store I will not take my business there.

The storage facility was clean and well maintained, however the temperature inside was was unbearable at times. The thermometer near my unit read more than 90° often, and the highest was 95°.

This was a troubling experience. There were a number of employees who discriminated against us for the whiteness of our skin and our hairstyles (or lack of hair in my husband's case). A lighter-skinned young black female with spiral curls was extremely hard to communicate with, and she denied us bigger rooms and bigger vehicles both times we were in there. The last day she seemed to disable our access card, which was very inconvenient. A black male employee locked us on the second floor when we were bringing our things. He knew we were up there because he talked to us. The only non-racist we encountered was the employee who first checked us in, a young, thin black girl with slightly darker skin. She was very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the way the other girl was treating us.

For the first 3 weeks that I moved my items in. I had a lot of cockroach problems! I was frustrated but U-haul and the staff did address the situation vigorously and treated my unit 4 times a week for 3 weeks. I was happy that they took my situation seriously but very unhappy that I had a problem with cockroaches for nearly a month. The staff and management was very accommodating, however, and took my frustration seriously and assured me It was being addressed. It was being addressed and by the time I moved out one year and one month later, I no longer had any issues with cockroaches.

Checked in got insurance. Went to bldg. Elevator not working, someone left door open. Went to office, had to wait in line 20 minutes to tell employee. Was told to beat on door. Went to bldg to beat on door. Beat on door for 20 minutes. Wait in line for 20 minutes, Told employee still not working. Employee sent new employee to beat on door. 20 minutes later office employee walked by and commented are u still waiting and walked away. We continued to beat on door Meanwhile other storage customers went in and out saying this happens all the time. Finally the crack head living on 2nd floor closed doors. While I put my objects in storage I left doors open until another customer came and promised he would be sure to close doors. Well he didn't. I was yelling out of 3 rd story windows To get someone to close doors. Never ever will I close doors to allow use by anyone while I'm at facility. In stead of me contacting you about my dispute, you can contact me and. Convince me not to shoot your company down by every chance I get.

There were numerous of times I couldn’t get access to my storage due to the freight elevator being down the staff was very rude and dismissive about the situation. I am relieved that I no longer have to has service with this location it was a terrible and very frustrating experience

The ladies there are amazing Chapelle, Donyai, Imani, and Jasmine made my experience with U-Haul great! From the trucks to the storage. They are a great team and all work so well under pressure. This store has been busy every time I have gone in and these ladies never showed customers the frustration they may have been feeling.. They were courteous, polite and amazing
