Pick up took almost over an hour and a half as they were completely disorganized. Truck was parked between two other trucks and the front desk was having an exceptionally hard time understanding what trucks were available. Truck had a *strong* cigarette smell and was filthy. Staff was rude, stating multiple times it was my fault as my key was in the lock box (it wasn't) and I should have used a code I never received. There was no apology when it was discovered all this was false and they were simply unprepared and highly disorganized.Jose M.

The equipment I had reserved was not available, and they did nothing to try to fix it. I had to basically figure out what other location has the equipment available. Very poor customer serviceLUIS L.
I usually don't have problems with renting form this u-haul but this time they messed up my reservation by having my vehicle of use wrong and the wrong trailer on record. I showed them the reservation email confirmation and I was looked at and spoken to like I did something wrong and it's my fault. They were almost closing so they were just trying to shove me out with any trailer so I would get out so they can leave and I needed this trailer the next day for an event. They didn't have the trailer I originally reserved or any that would work for me so I ended up getting stuck with a trailer 2x the size of the one I reserved, it worked but it was way too heavy for my van and was super sketch.Henry V.

It took entirely too long to get through the line to pick up the vehicle. After waiting in line I was 45min past my pick-up time and altered the timing for my day. But most frustrating was the fact that they gave me the truck literally just above fumes on the gas tank. I had to stop and get gas before even going to my destination to load. This is a huge customer service issue. I understand you are to return the vehicle at the same level as provided, but shouldn't have to do the hassle of getting on Empty. I guess Uhaul's new model is to have the customer do all the work and never maintain their own gas levels and hope that they just put more in the tank than they were provided. On top of that, they are still charging all of the previous customers a gas fee for being below level...for which they don't even put the gas in the vehicle. I tried my best to return the vehicle at the same super low level as it is not my job to fill the tanks and sure feels like the company gives zero $%&^s about customer service.Chase K.

My issue was not with the pickup location but your central booking system. I wanted to pick up my trailer at the preferred location and showed up there at 0700. I was told the trailer was at the other location & only there. I was not called or otherwise contacted about this change before & wasted time & $$ driving. The first location was â€œnot surprised â€œ that I was not notified. I'll consider renting somewhere else next time. The manager was running the front desk. I think his name was Keith. They were so busy and he did an amazing job of working through it and seem to keep everyone calm. They delivered my truck to the front door which was amazing. The guy who took my pick up saw I had waited maybe 1 minute (not a big deal because they were so busy) ran over to get my key and take my pick up. I got my receipt very quickly after drop off. When I picked up the truck it had zero gas in it! I didn't even think I would make it to a gas station!! Also I had indicated on my rental a furniture dolly. But they had none available to rent so I had to buy one. This item was crucial in the move. If I had known they didn't have dollys for rent I would have borrowed one from a friend. The system should not have indicated rentals available if none were available!!!Zeta P.

The On line portal is Bull Shit!! Get rid of it if it's not maintained. And I was charged 2G of Gas don't know why that charge is on my receipt I brought it back at the same level. Put gas in it before dropping it off picture to verify the level.Marlon M.

Keith Washington is the Manager for good reason . He is professional, helpful and knowledgeable about the rental trial and storage units .. my truck was ready when I arrived .. the entire staff at this location were kind helpful and hardworking they really were busy and all of the employees seemed to work together to get the customers served . Even waiting in line I was cool with it bcs I could see their hustle to get us moving as quickly as possible ..my experience I must say was perfect from start to finish I dislike moving but this uhaul location made a tough job easier . When you reserve a dolly and truck from one location and get an email the night before you move that your location has been changed and you don't get a dolly, something is wrong. Especially when they tried to upcharge me for a utility dolly, but then rented that out from underneath me to the customer standing next to me in line. I don't think I'll be using uhaul again.David Y.

The mileage, fuel meter, and images of the truck were incorrectly reported on the app prior to pick-up. The mileage was over 20k miles less than indicated, the fuel was over 3/4 of a tank less, and there was damage on the front bumper. I spoke with staff, they signed off on the fact that it was incorrect, and yet I was still charged over $100 in fuel charges. Other customers were experiencing the same issues when the equipment was dropped off. If you must use this location, take pictures of everything and document all numbers and gauges, because there is no telling how much they will try and charge you.Victoria R.

I was told that I had the truck until 7pm the following day but it was entered into the system to be checked in at 7pm the same day so of course I was charged $90 for a two day service when I specifically asked the cashier if I had a 24hr periodâ€¦. The advertised unit was not available and they charged me the insurance which was promise to be refunded and they never cancelled the rental contract either so my first month was charged as well. I had my unit for about 2 years, maybe longer. The store manager, Keith Washington has always shown top notch professionalism. From the first time I entered the store, his interactions with not only his team but the many customers was seamlessly smooth, relaxed and efficient. He should be commended on running a 5 star operation! Additionally, all communications regarding payments, etc. have always been prompt and the online account system is one of the best platforms I've navigated as a customer. Worst storage ever! My daughter passed away in North Carolina. I lived out of state. I put her belongings in storage. For close to 10 years I paid on time every month. When I summoned the courage to get her things I came back to the storage. It no longer had a ceiling. Wire mesh covered the top. I had rented a large trailer for all her things. When I went into the storage it had been ransacked. The majority of my daughters belongings were gone. I found items that did not belong to her on top of the few boxes that were hers. . I took the few boxes and went home. All the years of paying on the storage were for not. The precious items I had from her life were gone forever. Not from fire or a flood but from thieves rummaging through what was left of my daughters life! To add insult to injury, a few weeks later I get a call requesting payment on the now empty storage.
