I received an email that a check was mailed to me, which I did not agree to and it was mailed to my previous address not my new address. I emailed the store twice and have yet to receive a response. Not sure whose fault it is, but neither my reserved and confirmed truck nor trailer were available. I had to use my own truck to pull a MUCH smaller trailer. It took 3 loads instead of 1. Customer service at location was very apologetic though. I think it was Uhaul's brokedick computer system that led to error.Daniel G.

The truck was very clean on the inside, but the truck drove horribly. Pulls very hard to the left. Trans seemed to be slipping. And I was charged almost three times as much as the quote that was given. A VERY difficult time getting someone on the phone to discuss things. The waiting line when I got there was almost an hour wait. The app they want you to use for drop off doesn't work well. It would let me share my location. And I have a brand new iPhone 13 pro. The staff here seemed pretty unfamiliar with the fact that I could check in and out with the app. I checked out with the app when I returned the van but they made me wait for them to inspect and clean the van anyways. My issue is not with Uhaul located on 2701 N. Shadland Rd. My issue is with Uhaul located on N. Michigan Rd. I have reserved a truck with Uhaul twice within the last 30 days and on both occasions, the truck was unavailable. Most recently I was then sent to pick up a truck 20 miles away.Alan G.

But the online system allowed their trucks to be double-booked (which has nothing to do with the location!) but the staff in the store bent over backwards to see that we still got a truck. It was in the middle of the afternoon, and there was staff walking all around me when I dropped off the Uhaul. I waited in the truck for a Uhaul representative like the 24"x12" sign stated. Eventually, I just did the self-return through the website. I would have happily if anyone had just said I was good to do the self-return or told me they were busy and suggested using self-return. It honestly wasn't a big deal except for the fact that 2-3 people were walking around me sitting in the truck at the return awning and was completely ignored.Alex H.

Walked in The store and nobody was behind the counter. I stood there at the front counter for 10 almost 15 minutes. I then walked out of the store dangerous and went around the building looking for employees. Anybody could have walked out with any merchandise but they wanted. There was no employees in the retail area at all. Finally about 15 minutes to 20 minutes later one employee appeared out of nowhere FINALLY. My time is money.! If it would have been close to the time of my rental being expired and I would have been charged for another day because of no employees to check in my rental returned in time before I got charged for another day.!Brian L.

You can have more employees like Darlene around. I called like 6:20pm and requested a trailer, she told me to come on in, she had one. She did not know where I was coming from nor did she ask. I got there like 6:45pm, not one time did she rush me are show any signs of frustration. I truly appreciate when I receive good customer service. Customer service representative had a horrible attitude. Then I was overchargedâ€¦â€¦TWICE. Nobody will answer the phone of course. So now I have to take my precious time off and go up there and get this fixed. Then I go and drop the truck off and I'm expected to wait while this same representative puts in a propane tank. I don't have time for that either. I stormed out of the rental and leftâ€¦..but before I could leave she yells across the parking lot asking me if I refilled the gas tank and the needle didn't move. I was gone a little over an hour. I slammed my car door and left. I suggest friendly staff and more staff because people's time and money is precious. The truck itself was just fine.
