My poor score is based on Uhaul not holding a 15 ft truck for me - I made my reservation 20 days before the pickup date and only on the afternoon before did I learn I got a much longer truck for my one way rental. When I called and tried to get it back to a 15 ft truck, I was basically told I was lucky to get a truck. The manager did give me a reduced equipment rate and more miles for my trouble. And she gave me $50 off that I was supposed to get when I picked up the truck. But the pickup location said that was to be provided when I returned the truck. When I returned the truck. That location told me they were supposed to provide it when I picked up the truck. So the broken commitments from Uhaul continue. I would appreciate you getting back to me quickly with this $50, preferably a refund on my credit card.Michael C.
I am sure part of the issue is covid cleaning standard related...but the truck had a strong smell. ended up driving with the windows down.. This was fine but it was strong. Also there were no cup holders. that threw me off. small thing but weird.Kristen M.

The employee in the building the morning I picked the truck up was extremely personable and helpful. The truck itself was very clean. It seemed a little loud and I had trouble braking from time to time, but I've also never driven a U-Haul before so this could just be par for the course.Ryan H.

They fraudulently charged us for 3.5 times the miles we actually drove it. When we called about it, they made us wait on hold for over 20 minutes only to refuse comment, tell us the general manager will call us back in 1 to 3 business days, and then hung up. No resolution yet.Karl B.
I didn't appreciate the gimmicky, used car salesman technique, of placing the hand truck in the storage area of the vehicle and then placing a sign and seal on it letting me know I would be charged $7.00 if I used it. I rented that storage area and you used 1.5 square feet of it for advertising.Mark P.

Horrible pickup experience. Truck smelled like cigarettes smoke. Had to call manager to get keys as they were not in the lock box. What's the point of 24/7 truck share when U-Haul fails to meet the timeline? I had to sit out in the cold for over 2 hours. Horrible experience.Brandon D.

The location was centrally located. The staff was the best part of the facility. Each and everytime i spoke to anyone in the 6 months i was there, i was treated as if i had owned the place or owned uhaul. The truck I picked up had a battery light in so I was switched to another truck. The truck I was switched to was just old. It had a smell from cigarettes. The radio wouldn't turn off and the gas gauge was stuck just below 3/4 tank when I went to refill it. I ended up putting in extra gas. However, they credited me $20 for gas. This location has excellent customer service and their facilities are very clean.Kimberly G.

I received pickup empty, with no hitch. It had the wrong mileage which I informed the rep of she took a picture of mileage and said it would be fixed upon return. I had to drive to another location to pickup trailer and had no hitch, had to drive back to store to get a hitch then back to screaming eagle location. Upon return and reviewing my receipt I was charge for over 700 miles when I only used 50 or less. My credit card was charged for this material overage. I was outraged and has placed a huge hold on my card. I am in process of buying a home and a charge or hold like this showing my card is used shows poorly for me. I am disgusted and will NEVER utilize this facility again.Monica B.

I rented a 26 ' truck. it looked like a previous renter had an accident. The passenger side headlight casing was damaged. If you already know of these things, you should let the next renter know so that they won't be worried if your company is going to try to charge them for something that was already there,Hermayonne E.

It's baffling to me on one hand you try and save fuel mileage for customers by adding skirts and meters and all that but on the other don't have cruise control. You're mechanically killing these trucks when they just sit at 5500 RPMs going 70 mph down the interstate. Also, I want to see the owner go 1300 across the US without CC. It's terrible.LUCAS S.

My rental was due back at 9 AM I returned it at 8:50 AM and was told by the attendant that they did not open until later and to leave the vehicle in the parking lot with the key in it. My husband and I have rented storage units in the past at many different places as well as states. This is the cleanest facility we have ever been in. Very well lit. Convenient with the moving carts. There was a big moving truck that pulled in minutes in front of us. There was only the one functioning door. Scheduling my Uhaul was an issue; the site I was sent to did not have the truck I needed and then I was on hold for over an hour- my move was grossly delayed. Then, through the office I setup automatic payments and asked the gentleman twice if we were good to go- turns out we were not. I got the payment due notification, but all of my bills are set up to auto pay and it didn't autopay- I immediately paid and emailed the agent and never heard back. Logged into my account and the auto pay was not set up. So I set it up- the following month was the same issue. This time I called instead, they waived the late fee and corrected the issue. The site does not save properly, and is full of discrepancies (payment never saved properly and misinformation on vehicle availability) . However, majority of Uhaul staff are patient and accommodating- I thank those gentlemen who assisted through each hurdle.Shavon C. | Overall Experience

The only good and stress free part about our move was this uhaul location and how understanding they are. The attitudes of the workers is unacceptable. They do not want to do anything extra. We had issues with returning our rental truck and no compensation was giving by this location nor never received a callback or email from corporate.
