The gas gauge did not read correctly until well on the road. We put $92 in. We only drove 80 miles. Once the truck was in motion the gauge read correctly but it was too late. Otherwise we were super impressed by the location we picked it up at and the wonderful folks where we dropped it off.RODNEY F.
The manager and workers at this location was extremely rude. We had questions about the pending charges on our bill and instead of answering the question the manager told us to get out of his store with our attitude. The worker was not educated on the contract and how it worked they told us that we would get a rebate for the amount that we went over for the gas and then we went into the store to talk about it and the manager told us no that is not correct it says it in the contract which the worker was not aware of and did not know. This store needs to be re-trained on how to talk to their customers and how to know what the contract says I'll be able to explain it better to their customers. The manager was extremely rude he told me that I had an attitude when I was calmly talking to him and telling him maybe you should train your workers on how to know the contract and how to talk to customers he told me to get out of his store. This led me to believe that maybe he was telling me this because I was a female and I was sexist of him to just talk to me in that manner but he talk to my husband very respectfully and very calmly.Tony O.

Figure out how to avoid the system problem I encountered. Somehow at the drop off location the check-in guy's mobile app showed the truck went out at 0 miles on the odometer. So I owed something like $30,000 for the rental! Thankfully I had a paper copy of the contract which showed the starting odometer reading.Michael T.

I've had two reservations and the first time I had to wait an hour for a truck. The manager did make it good though. Kudos to him. The second time they couldn't find my reservation and I paid in advance. So both times something was crazy. I think maybe somehow better management of reservations. The manager has been excellent to work with and the employees. I just think there must be something wrong with the system.QUINTIN B.

This was the absolute worst experience me and my family have ever had with uhaul. The incompetence of the employees not just at this location but at the other location in bolivar. I will definitely tell my friends and family to not use uhaul in the future. Not dealing with the stress from the incompetence and lack of knowledge from your employees. I want the extra charge that was put on my card talen off like i stated on the phone after the guy at your location said he charged me for an extra day. Two things-I have dropped off two trucks this week and was told I would receive a receipt in 5 minutes or so. I have never received the receipt for either truck. The last truck I rented and returned has an issue with the fuel gauge. When I rented it the truck had 3/4 of a tank of gas. I used 1/2 of that for my move. When filling the tank the fuel gauge never moved and got stuck at the 1/2 mark. I kept filling the tank thinking I was short the required amount. I started the truck and kept turning the key to see if the gauge would move. It never did and I put in 30+ gallons of fuel in the tank. I explained this at the counter and the three employees laughed and said sarcastically that they would get right on it. Not a great comment to someone who chose to do business there and spent $30 more than I needed to. I would rate this location higher but yesterday's experience brought it down.Jim B.

I called in advance for a bottom floor storage unit for a one bedroom house and when I got there I got a second floor unit the size of a closet that was the first time I had problems with U-Haul but they fix it it was a mess because they have no elevator to get to the second floor only stairs and I'm a 53-year-old lady. I had to bring half of my stuff back to my friends house until they fix the issue because I didn't have enough room in my storage. But other than that U-Haul's greatMELANIE S. | First Impressions
There ended up being some sort of mix up with the online reservation system, but the girl at the front counter was very helpful. She went above and beyond to get us a unit close to the door, even when someone else was helping us! She remembered us from the phone, and popped over to make sure we were getting the best of the best. Was a great experience, other then the fact my wife and I fealt we were being stalked and watched like we where going to steal something. While moving in two girls in uhaul uniforms where constantly around us. Every time we turned around they where there. I mentioned this to rep who did the turn in on my truck. I was told they where the cleaning staff. He explained what thier jobs are. Honestly, my wife and I didn't appreciate the feeling we where getting. We suffered a loss at our last storage unit. Someone broke in and cleaned it out. It all started by my wife being watched by a couple of people while she was unloading our truck. So we are a bit touchy and suspicious. I went with the medium size indoor storage unit. It was the biggest size but after I filled it I didn't have room for some stuff so I just gave that stuff away since I couldn't keep it. This rating is no reflection on the facility. I drove 500 miles to move someone and was on a very tight time schedule. I was help hostage by Uhaul because of a system wide computer issue that prevented the rental of storage units. I was delayed a day and required to stay over night incurring unexpected expenses.
