Booked online. Waited 30 min in line. Saw others who checked in online waiting in line with me. Although a line had formed staff randomly selected customers. There was no order. Customers waiting were becoming agitated because of this. My helper was polite yet needed alot of guidance. Check in equipment failed to work properly. Took an additional 20 min to locate truck. In the end truck was clean but had no power struggled to excellarate. I rented an appliance dolly and got a utility dolly which I could not use. Upon returning the truck I was told they ran out so I asked to be credited. Both the staff member and the manager said I was credited even though the bill still reflected the charge. I ask again and was told by the manager that it was removed and printed a new receipt. I reviewed it. Charge was still there. I just left because I got no help. Be warned. I thought $29.95 was good deal. No quite the case. All in $99. (Mileage)

Kail G.We were not made aware ahead of time that the store didn't have the appliance dolly we reserved. Had we been told we could have looked to rent one elsewhere. We didn't have time to do that once we were already there. Then we didn't get the moving blankets we reserved. The staff was very nice and apologetic. Unfortunately not having those supplies was a big inconvenience

I also received this survey before I received my official receipt, which they said would be sent today. That's not ideal. The truck I rented ran great.

Even though it says to skip the line and walk up next to the counter, that is an uncomfortable thing to do with a bunch of people standing in line. You need to figure out a way to make it easier to pick up the keys without making the customer feel like they're cutting the line to interrupt the current transactions Going on with other customers

I know that's kind of a bad way to start one of these but I'm a little irritated the last three reservations that I have made I have had to find the equipment that I have wanted or needed to take care of the jobs that we were doing! Which will be expected not every location is gonna have everything you need every time that you need it your customer service was great the lady that helped me got me a reservation at another location the only problem was when I got there I wanted the cargo van I had reserved for two days! Instead got a 10 foot box truck! Very angry very upset not happy in any way shape form or fashion but I had to drive this truck to do the jobs that we needed to get done because our van is in the shop! I wanted a van for many reasons one I have a torn MCL and ACL in my knee and can't get up and down the ramp nor can I get my self into the back of one of those trucks because of my knee! Which means that I had to hire somebody to help me which cost me 150 bucks! The other point of having a cargo van is the gas efficiency for the job that I had to do this weekend I probably maybe would've spent $50-$60 at the very very high end ! But instead this week and I got to spend 125 because of the truck that I had and the not so excellent gas mileage. If I have to go to Penske or find something else to To help us when we need it I will definitely do that! I was OK the first time I was even OK the second time but this being the third time it's ridiculous and not needed! And then my favorite part was the young man that help me at the location I had to travel to ask me if I wanted to rent it or not because he could have somebody else rent it with no problem! So do you want it or not? Not the customer service that I was looking for! Overall a very irritating and not great experience! I'm not sure if I'll come back or not if I do when this happens again I will never do business with U-Haul ever again

ROBERT S.Hitch control box was not checked on installation and day before leaving MO, I find out the wiring did not work. Should have been checked when installed 2 months prior. Would have scored higher if not for that. Nice that I he fixed it under warranty that same afternoon. Thank you that. Other than 12 mpg with the trailer it was a nice trip.

Andrea R.When I first picked up the trailer, it had a lot of dirt in the back. I asked for a broom to sweep it out, and then told them I would take it to power wash it before I used. The then allowed to pull to the front and they cleaned it out before I left. It was unisubecause things have been clean before.

BRANDON B.This is third time within a year I've rented from this location, renting 26 ft truck. First two times trucks were newer, nice, and drove very well. This last one had almost 175,000 miles on it and could not drive above 60 miles an hour without it shaking so bad that it was unsafe. Steering wheel would start to shake violently and make a horrible rattle sound which you could feel. Mentioned it when I turned it in and it was just shrugged it off, not even offered any type of compensation. I spent over $1500 within a year at this location, let alone the fuel spent. I thought some compensation would be offered. Very disappointed.

Emily D.Absolutely awful. I reserved a month in advance for a 10 foot truck. They call the night before telling me that the only thing they had was 15 foot. Ok no big deal. They call 30 mins before my reservation the next day! To tell me oh by the way we lied last night. We actually only have a 26 foot. Rented at the same price but seeing as I was a one way customer the difference in gas prices was gigantic. Didn't seem like a big deal or any sympathy from them. Also asked for a van instead and even though they had plenty of them available they said it was for in town only and wouldn't make an exception even though it was their screw up on the truck.

charles K.Truck was very unstable and was terrible to drive. Suspension was a disaster, ust bounced constantly (loaded and unloaded) and the tires were bald. I have had a lot of good trucks in the past. This one needs a lot of work.

Demarcus D. | Overall ExperienceI called in advance for a bottom floor storage unit for a one bedroom house and when I got there I got a second floor unit the size of a closet that was the first time I had problems with U-Haul but they fix it it was a mess because they have no elevator to get to the second floor only stairs and I'm a 53-year-old lady. I had to bring half of my stuff back to my friends house until they fix the issue because I didn't have enough room in my storage. But other than that U-Haul's great

We are a military family. My husband walked in and asked to be serviced, but the young lady flat out said "no". Then they asked if he had a reservation and because we did, they "made an exception". The entry card was intrigue and no one explained it. Everyone was in such a hurry to leave that by 5 minutes after closing, they were all gone and we were asking other customers for help. I'm okay with them being upset. The truth is the truth. But the guy serving us both as kind. Very.

Doug B. | First ImpressionsAfter being advised by the staff that the unit I was looking at would accommodate a 1200 sq ft apt I secure the unit, upon seeing the unit and finding it was no more than a broom closet that was 10' tall. When I went back to the representative for assistance he called the store manager who refused to assist, snapped at me to get off the property that he can refuse service and told me if I did not leave he would call the police for trespassing, when I requested a refund I was told to call corporate that he wasn't refunding me until they made him do so. Upon contacting corporate I was issued refund and never returned but have received emails and a phone call telling me my storage payment is due. This location does not treat people well nor do they apparently manage their units appropriately as they did not document that the unit I secured was not used and the contract voided.

While moving in two girls in uhaul uniforms where constantly around us. Every time we turned around they where there. I mentioned this to rep who did the turn in on my truck. I was told they where the cleaning staff. He explained what thier jobs are. Honestly, my wife and I didn't appreciate the feeling we where getting. We suffered a loss at our last storage unit. Someone broke in and cleaned it out. It all started by my wife being watched by a couple of people while she was unloading our truck. So we are a bit touchy and suspicious. Just didn't like turning around and seeing this two employees all the time.

I really wish there had been bigger sizes for the indoor climate control units without having to get multiple units…

I was help hostage by Uhaul because of a system wide computer issue that prevented the rental of storage units. I was delayed a day and required to stay over night incurring unexpected expenses. Very displeased with the situation!

Also, the prices of mattress covers, tape, boxes and locks are really Really good and I think if I need those things again then I am going to the Uhaul store instead of Walmart.
