I returned my truck around 10 am. Around 3 pm I still had not received a receipt. I drove back to the location to learn the truck had not been checked in. I was assisted very promptly and received my receipt. The gentleman that took care of this was very polite.Brian M.
This was not my first choice for a pickup location as it was out of the way for me. I made my reservation online and it changed the location. Going to this location put me over my mileage. Not all information is given at time of pickup (rented twice in last month @ location) younger men dont know what actually charges are and quote wrong information. Lady across the street DID know exact prices and equipment, also fixed issues twice. Door handle was falling off this truck making it hard to pull door shut. Also visor was broken and useless when trying to use it at sunup/sundown making it dangerous trying to see. Good thing I took it photos of mileage at pickup because they tried to overcharge first truck on September 1st, though it was adjusted correctly) I would not recommend this site due to staff lack of knowledge, errors, and broken equipment. However, I would still recommend UHAUL in general.karon B.

I ordered an Appliance Dolly - 3 weeks before the move! Said they could not guarantee it. Said to call back and keep asking. I called 4 times in 3 weeks!! Including 3 days ahead and on the Moving Date!! They still didn't get it for us!! They gave us an extra 12 blankets instead!!! Idiotic. How are 12 blankets going to help us move appliances???!!! If I didn't have good friends calling all their friends to find a dolly - I would still not have appliances in my new house. This is unacceptable. What happened to the old, dependable U-Haul????? I reserved a pick up in republic mo where I live. I got a email on Tuesday that they were having to change my pick up place. I reserved republic because the mileage and gas would be less. I had to pick up in Springfield on Campbell,so I had to pay more for mileage and gas. I just think that there was a closer place I could have rented fromAngela B.

Please clean the truck between users. Do not promise equipment (reserved dolly ie) and then not have it available on the reserved date, telling the customer they can buy one if they need it! Be courteous.Kelsey S.

Twice have rented U-Haul. I order in advance have drivers license confirmed then issued a reservation # you think all is well. Then BAM both times at 2 different locations " no trucks not here!!! " Don't know anything!!! Ok let me see if I can find you another truck?? REALLY??? Then I drive ACROSS TOWN and hope to GOD it's there. 1st time I had to go to 3 locations. The store facility is nice with good security. It was clean and presentable. However, the way protocol was ran at this store needs more work. When it comes to charges, it is a must to be as accurate as possible. I had to talk to UHAUL company reps to correct incorrect charges and refunds caused by the GM of this store. Everything got squared away, but it was a hassle. For my service on 9/1, that one went a lot smoother. It was definitely a smoother process than when I arrived initially. Although I would not use this location again, I will have to note that I was thankful to have received a climate controlled storage after my initial one was given away to someone else. We were given a truck that died less than 3 hours into a 10 hour drive. This truck was not even originally available for service. The truck we were going to be given was given to someone else that rented it that day rather than to us even though we reserved it a month in advance. Our scheduled pick up time was 7:30 am, we paid for moving help from a local company with that time in mind. The day before pick up we were rescheduled without option to pick up at 10 am. This negatively affected the moving help we paid for, they were gracious enough to work with us but it caused them to have a shorter break time between scheduled appointments.Sheth L.
Understand that people who make reservations c9me before people just walking in. There is no way I should of had to stand in line for the amount of time that I did nor a reason why the appliance dolly that I reserved was not available to me. I had to come out of pocket $100 to get my washer and dryer carried out of my apt down 17 stairs and into my new place and down 15 more stairs and you refunded $50, but thanks to your company, it cost me over $170. This is very disheartening and you are not taking responsibility for your negligent workers.Dawn B.
I picked up the 4 x 8 ft enclosed trailer and noticed one tire was pretty worn. i should have inspected it more closely. When I got it home, my son noticed the other tire had a quarter sized chunk of rubber missing in the tread and it was very worn as well. I called the facility to return it and get another trailer and was told they had none, I needed to call your service line. Very disappointing. I was shocked Uhaul would rent something in this condition. Well, I called and was very glad to hear they would send someone out to replace both tires. And they did, within an hour and a half. So, despite their failure to properly inspect the trailer and refuse to rent it in this condition, we were encouraged by the service to correct the situation. I loved our experience with U-Haul on Campbell in Springfield, MO. The guys were all very helpful, courteous, and great to work with. The facility was great - convenient (about a 5 minute drive to my daughter's new apartment), clean, free of critters, nice temp, well lit, and beyond spacious. I felt very safe leaving our daughter's belongings there. The rental fee was extremely reasonable and I liked all the selections of unit sizes. We will definitely use U-Haul every summer of her college years! So much better than "haul"ing all her stuff back and forth to Texas!Robin K. | Overall Experience

I wouldn't recommend Uhaul to anybody at this point. I was forced to go to two different locations to get my equipment because the reservations were messed up. In the future U-Haul employees should have to travel to join the equipment instead of the customer!!Allen D.

Everything was fine with this location until I received an incorrect invoice. I was charged a wrong drop off location fee, a extra two day fee, and a coverage fee. All of these were incorrect. This was done by an associate there by the name of Zach. I dropped off my rental with the auto transport two days before due date at the correct location with more gas in the tank than when I received it. On top of this, I have to wait forever and a day to speak to a rep to resolve the charge for additional mileage. I was told at the time of reservation that it would only cost $0.40/additional mile. However, I have actually been charged $1.00/additional mile. Pretty exasperating experience. Thankfully, I was able to speak to Zach and he waived each fee except for the mileage fee. Now, I have to hope and pray that I speak to someone soon at UHAUL to get the mileage fee corrected. I may never use UHAUL again after this experience.Taylor H. | First Impressions

I got online to deserve a storage unit. I got a confirmation email indicating the one I wanted would be ready. The next day I went to the U-Haul dealer, and Matthew, who was quite professional throughout this whole situation, indicated that instead of the 10x10 I ordered all they had was 25x5s. Today I went back to get a refund as this would not do. I again talked to Matthew, who was again very professional, and then to his boss Zachary. Zachary said the computer was made to indicate that the unit I wanted was available even if it was not. This is a classic bait and switch, which is highly illegal, and I am considering taking action with the state's attorneys general regarding this matter. Zachary, the general manager, did indicate that even though I 'moved in' last night, which I did not, I would in fact be getting a refund.MICHEAL Z. | First Impressions
I need to get in touch with someone there regarding things of mine that were left in one of your trucks if you could please give me a call at 417-315-5169 or my fiance at 417-755-1497. Ive tried calling over and over with no answer, been placed on hold for over an hour twice (one time 2 minute before closing time and the second time I was disconnected) but i can't ever reach you. I called in advance for a bottom floor storage unit for a one bedroom house and when I got there I got a second floor unit the size of a closet that was the first time I had problems with U-Haul but they fix it it was a mess because they have no elevator to get to the second floor only stairs and I'm a 53-year-old lady. There ended up being some sort of mix up with the online reservation system, but the girl at the front counter was very helpful. She went above and beyond to get us a unit close to the door, even when someone else was helping us! She remembered us from the phone, and popped over to make sure we were getting the best of the best. They'll be upset about this score, when in reality and based upon certain events that took place that day, a more appropriate rating would have been POOR. We are a military family. My husband walked in and asked to be serviced, but the young lady flat out said "no". Then they asked if he had a reservation and because we did, they "made an exception". The entry card was intrigue and no one explained it. Everyone was in such a hurry to leave that by 5 minutes after closing, they were all gone and we were asking other customers for help. After being advised by the staff that the unit I was looking at would accommodate a 1200 sq ft apt I secure the unit, upon seeing the unit and finding it was no more than a broom closet that was 10' tall. When I went back to the representative for assistance he called the store manager who refused to assist, snapped at me to get off the property that he can refuse service and told me if I did not leave he would call the police for trespassing, when I requested a refund I was told to call corporate that he wasn't refunding me until they made him do so. Upon contacting corporate I was issued refund and never returned but have received emails and a phone call telling me my storage payment is due. This location does not treat people well nor do they apparently manage their units appropriately as they did not document that the unit I secured was not used and the contract voided.PATRICIA K. | Overall Experience

The manager Joshua Perkins is something else, he is abrasive, impolite, hostile, threatening. He threatened to call the police because I asked why they wouldn't honor a valid reservation on an appropriate sized storage unit. The staff were wonderful. I had a hard time figuring out how much space I needed. They were patient and helpful. They worked hard to find me adequate space, which turned out to be two rooms..
