Overall things went well but all the vans and trucks ,including the one we rented, were covered in snow. We spent several minutes wiping it off ourselves. I understand that we had a storm but I would think that ensuring your vehicles are clean and safe for the roads would be a priority for this business. A van is one thing but someone getting the entirety of a 26 foot moving truck's roof worth of snow dumped on them in traffic is a serious safety concern
JESSE JChecking trailers and making sure they are maintained and no damage to them wiring to the trailer lights were cut and they were aware of it and took pictures when bringing trailers to my car. Said we can I can use a different one but I didn't have the time and needed the trailer asap. So I had to risk the chance of getting pulled over. Need to be maintaining their vehicles and equipment more efficiently.

The website location of where the key was was incorrect on the website and I spent many amount of time trying to find the key and it was in a different location that went then the website said. So disappointed in U-Haul.

DEBBIE KThe first truck was filled with someone else's shit and then we took it back. They seemed stupid and helpless even the owner which his name is Steven also unprofessional. Mark was able to give us some kind of discount for all the work that we had to go through, but it still seemed very unprofessional and very hostile environment. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I knew personally because they sucked. The truck was dirty. It smelled like cigarette smoke and cat and In the back of the truck was dirty. We had to sweep it out before we could even move anything into it got back with the rental and asked for a discount because of all the trouble that we went through the owner said that he couldn't give us one. I think you need to look into your store and figure out where your problem is clearly if you want customers to be happy? You should definitely provide a well-maintained truck for them to move all their nice furniture with and a professional attitude when working with customers, I've never seen a place so unprofessional in my life.

The lead staff member recognized the error and didn't charge me for an extra day. I thought that was very kind and deserves acknowledgment. Overall experience was great and highly recommend this U-Haul site on S Campbell Ave in Springfield.

Bob BThe only thing I don't like about my unit is the way the unit is. It's long & not deep. You cannot maximize the full unit. You cannot use the full 10ft of 1 wall & you cannot use the full 5ft of the other 2 walls, because of the door. So I'm not getting my full unit to store my things.

I needed to get the stuff in that night!! Not really happy!! Then I had a heart attack and to let my friend put the rest in the storage shed!! She supposedly lost the keys and wanted to cut the lock off. You almwouldn't let her she calked me when I wasn-t susposed to have any stressful phone calks!!! I talked to one of the people who handles these problems!! Thank you for nit listening to me!!! You 100%right nit to let her cut the lock!! I appologize!! I went right to where I told her the keys were!! Thank you again! I will recommend you again!! Loved the staff!! They were great!!!!

I was told that because of that, I needed to call a locksmith to get the lock cut off. I had to pay the locksmith $181.90 to get it cut off. The enployee had mentioned that if an employee did it, it would've been a $50 charge anyways. Which is fine, because I lost the key and that's on me What I don't think I should have to do is eat the other $131.90 because the right person was not there on site to do the job I needed done. When it is a job that is supposed to be offered by the facility. I would really like to be reimbursed for the difference, because it was not my fault that someone was not on site to authorize it. I can send the invoice if needed.

We severely underestimated how much stuff we had and the offer from Uhaul for a month of storage with truck rental was much appreciated. I had a little trouble picking up one truck at an unstaffed location but got thru it with a phone call. Also, I was a little intimidated to drive a 26' truck but found it easy and just needed to watch the mirrors and pay attention to turns. Also have a spotter when backing. Will definitely use again and recommend!

I was shown the storage unit by staff with personal attention as to how to operate the security system and how to properly lock the door. All very helpful! Moving is stressful but u-haul makes the experience easier and economical!

When notifying the first employee I was told that was my risk it is only a tin building and it leaks. In climate controlled units? The second employee said it was a known issue and they were working on it. If the issue was known, why were no tenants notified? We had water literally dripping off the cart we were using to haul our ruined belongings to the dumpster. I don't remember exact beginning rental date, but that was close to $2000 in rental fees just to throw the contents in the trash instead of being able to safely move them out. Would never rent a unit in your facility again and will definitely make sure anyone that asks me knows to never use those services either. I have utilized outdoor storage units for years with no climate controlled services and NEVER had any water damage.

I made the alarms go off for what seemed like a life time because I opened my unit without securing my entry or whatever because I was not provided with my key card to disarm my unit at the time of check in earlier in the day. Nor was my password or access code updated so I was not able to enter or exit my unit properly as it prompts you to do so. Only received a message stating my access was denied due to unrecognized code.

I was the only one who had the keys and was told at time of rental if keys lost would have to pay a locksmith to open. Not once when I went to office to ask about additional padlock placed on unit was I ask to see my ID. Filing police report and complaint with Better Business. Will be speaking to attorney. Very angry and sad as the items were antiques from my late parents home.

Josh was very kind & said he believed me, but the truck showed the mileage at more than 200 miles since I had rented it earlier that day. I was frantic & got very upset & was almost in tears. I was told they would have a mechanic (?) run diagnostics(?) on it the next morning where they could tell exactly how many miles I drove it. I called the next morning, after worrying all night, & Josh wasn't there, but Tracy (?) said it showed on my receipt that I was charged for only 12 miles. I asked her what caused the mix up & she said she didn't know. I was very relieved the truth came out & I wasn't charged 100's of dollars for their mistake, but I still would like to know what happened. The whole ordeal really upset me & I worried about it all night, however I felt like Josh & the other guy at least believed me & they handled it very professionally & were very kind.
