We had a riding lawn mower which no longer worked. Called U-Haul and it was so very easy to schedule a trailer pick up appointment. Price was less than we thought it would be and the staff was very nice to hook everything up. Easy pick up; easy return

With reservations. The truck I rented did not have functional headlights. I had to stop Saturday night because of it and rent a place until daylight. I asked for an adjustment since could not use the truck for what I needed. I was given only a 40$ adjustment on a charge of 440$. Very insignificant!!

Had reserved a 6 x 12 trailer for 5/31, but only 2 available but not with the preferred barn door configuration I wanted for overhead clearance...so had to settle for a garage door configuration that I bumped my head upon several times.

Uhaul is a great service! We saved a ton of money doing the move ourselves rather than hiring a moving company. We severely underestimated how much stuff we had and the offer from Uhaul for a month of storage with truck rental was much appreciated. I had a little trouble picking up one truck at an unstaffed location but got thru it with a phone call. Also, I was a little intimidated to drive a 26’ truck but found it easy and just needed to watch the mirrors and pay attention to turns. Also have a spotter when backing. Will definitely use again and recommend!

I normally use the glenstone location but they didn’t have the trailer I needed so they called the Campbell location and confirmed the trailer availability. However, when I got there, they did not have the trailer. Additionally set up took longer than normal. Customer service was great though and they were so patient and understanding when I extended the rental several times. I will continue to use the glenstone location because it is closer and easier.

Did not have a problem with the Campbell Street location. My issue began on May 2 when I made a reservation to pick up a truck in Fulton Missouri and some loading help through the website. Loading help did not show. Fulton waited until the day before to say that they did not have a truck. Called customer service voice to my concern had to pick up a truck in Springfield Missouri drive it to Fulton and then drive it back. I was not happy with U-Haul. The representative that I talked to a customer service did lessen the dissatisfaction with my Springfield reservation. My thoughts on U-Haul is that they’re not really in the customer service business. They have a product they know people need it. Some of the service centers are very rude.

Tried to use the app to pickup the truck. Wasted almost 45 minutes because the app kept indicating that I was not in the correct location. Luckily, the store was open, but had to wait through 8 other customers to talk to someone. When we did get the truck, the check engine light was on. I asked the store rep about it and they said "it's probably the catalytic converter" and should otherwise be ok to drive. Other than that, the truck was clean and didn't give us any issues. The return process was super smooth and easy.

My fiance picked up the trailer and it was an extremely long wait. They did not have the connections needed. He was very frustrated once done. They did offer him an extra day for his wait but we didn't need an extra day at all. We've heard good things about this location so it was surprising it was so unorganized.

The facility was busy when we arrived but I was greeted in a timely and friendly manner. I was shown the storage unit by staff with personal attention as to how to operate the security system and how to properly lock the door. All very helpful! Moving is stressful but u-haul makes the experience easier and economical!

the pick up took entirely too long. There was only one associate working and a line, she indicated someone was coming to help, when that person arrived, they proceeded to make phone calls and do computer work for over 10 minutes before assisting customers standing in line.

Your app is way better than in the past but it it's still frustrating to use. Everything was working perfectly but then it times me out when it took me a few seconds to get my credit card out to verify the number you had on file. I started over. I'm then taking pictures and it times me out while I was opening the back door to show inside (ramp trailer, two latches with a phone in my hand). Then it wouldn't let me back in to finish because it's complete. This location is honest and has excellent customer service so I'm not worried but I doubt everyone is so lucky.

The clerk made me go look for my truck and even said I had to 'find it in the back. Then the tow for my car wasn't with it so I had to find someone to help me I the lot to find my truck and car tow! I have never had to do this with past rentals! They always had the truck and everything ordered at the front waiting on me especially because I order in advance and never that day!

I believe that I should have been able to drop the dolly off on glenstone that is much closer to my house. They only have one dolly there for rent and it was already rented out. The Campbell store had over 10 dollies there. So the one I rented should have been able to be taken back to glenstone store without being charged extra.They have room there for 3 or 4 st a time but only have one and it's rented out alit of The time.

This started off as a horrible experience at the Glenstone location. Not only did they not know what they were doing but after doing and redoing the application on the computer and spending about 45 minutes, I was informed that they actually didn't even have what I needed to rent. Called the Campbell facility to see if they had any of the item I was needing. They told me they did and they would make a reservation for me at that facility. When I arrived at the Campbell location, the reservation the Glenstone location made for me was for the facility at Glenstone not the Campbell where they originally did not have my item had to call the Glenstone location to have the reservation transferred. Check out the rental for mechanical issues prior to renting it. Do not let the customer find iit then worry about it. When there is an issue. Do not say I am not on the clock and just sit in the chair in front of the door.

When we went to clean out our unit almost everything was trash as it was sitting in standing water. When notifying the first employee I was told that was my risk it is only a tin building and it leaks. In climate controlled units? The second employee said it was a known issue and they were working on it. If the issue was known, why were no tenants notified? We had water literally dripping off the cart we were using to haul our ruined belongings to the dumpster. I don’t remember exact beginning rental date, but that was close to $2000 in rental fees just to throw the contents in the trash instead of being able to safely move them out. Would never rent a unit in your facility again and will definitely make sure anyone that asks me knows to never use those services either. I have utilized outdoor storage units for years with no climate controlled services and NEVER had any water damage.

I reserved an appliance Dolly. They didn’t have any when we got there. They found an old beat up appliance dolly & sent with us. Ended up figuring out it was broken. This is unacceptable. We were moving my daughter from one 3 story apartment to another 3 story apartment. Without the appliance dolly this made the move physically hard on those helping us. When I reserve something I expect to get it.

Pick up and drop off procedures are very confusing at this location. Hard to find a key drop off and finding help was very slow, I did everything in the app so I could pick up and drop off quickly only to be slowed down by having to find someone and wait for them to be available.

They gave me a truck that wreaked of smoke. Had to return it. They were quite unhelpful and more interested in their significant other showing up than working. Had to hunt around the parking lot for 10 minutes to find a replacement truck. Poor service. I would never go there again.

I drove 23 miles and put in 9 gallons of gas on return. They claim the truck was full of gas when I drove it out. There is no way the gas tank was full. The general manager gave ne a $10 credit for gas but at $3.25 a gallon that didn't cover the charge. The service attendant, Nick, tried to help but he was limited on what he could do.

Cant reach get anyone to pick up phone at location? Tried to drop off a check last night spent almost an hour on the phone. Just trying to check in the vehicle. Your customer service in general, there is a long wait to even talk to a representative and now they’re not able to help me close my reservation payment either? I have spent over 2 1/2 hours an hour on the phone with no resolve being told to wait three days which makes no sense. I have again called the location since 7 o’clock this morning 2 1/2 hours and have only been put on hold once and a representative never came to the phone? Really has been a horrible experience in general!

The last two times I have came to that location, the lines are long, the wait is long. Also took 2 hours after I dropped off with attendant to get receipt. And the receipt did not come from the location, but customer service . This is the only location I have these issues. I have rented close to 15 times in the last year and a lot more that that over the last several years.

When we got the truck, the girl handed us the keys didn’t walk around the truck and explain anything to us. If I had not thought about looking, we would not have gotten our blankets. I had to go back and get blankets The check engine light came on several miles up the road which we didn’t get good gas mileage. If she would’ve done an inspection with us, we would have realized that the fuel that she said we had was not what we actually had when we left.

It was busy as I expected for Saturday morning. And the employees were swamped with trying to work with what they had. I guess some equipment didn't get check in right. It didn't affect me, but I felt for the employees struggling through with a line full of people behind me. I really enjoy this place. I am giving this process a poor rating only due to the lack of information provided to me that was absolutely essential. I made the alarms go off for what seemed like a life time because I opened my unit without securing my entry or whatever because I was not provided with my key card to disarm my unit at the time of check in earlier in the day. Nor was my password or access code updated so I was not able to enter or exit my unit properly as it prompts you to do so. Only received a message stating my access was denied due to unrecognized code.

Had all my furniture stolen out of my inside “secured” unit and GM only said I must have not locked properly there was another padlock on it and someone named Adrian had said it was her unit was not called about this person even though she no one listed by that name on contract. I was the only one who had the keys and was told at time of rental if keys lost would have to pay a locksmith to open. Not once when I went to office to ask about additional padlock placed on unit was I ask to see my ID. Filing police report and complaint with Better Business. Will be speaking to attorney. Very angry and sad as the items were antiques from my late parents home.

There was a mix up when I returned the rental truck. They said I had put over 200 miles on the pickup truck that I rented when in fact I had only put 12 miles on it. Josh was very kind & said he believed me, but the truck showed the mileage at more than 200 miles since I had rented it earlier that day. I was frantic & got very upset & was almost in tears. I was told they would have a mechanic (?) run diagnostics(?) on it the next morning where they could tell exactly how many miles I drove it. I called the next morning, after worrying all night, & Josh wasn’t there, but Tracy (?) said it showed on my receipt that I was charged for only 12 miles. I asked her what caused the mix up & she said she didn’t know. I was very relieved the truth came out & I wasn’t charged 100’s of dollars for their mistake, but I still would like to know what happened. The whole ordeal really upset me & I worried about it all night, however I felt like Josh & the other guy at least believed me & they handled it very professionally & were very kind.

Amazing staff.I have met many of the employees & I love how they are working together as a team & provide world class service here in Springfield Missouri💚I met some other people as i was at my storage often & it has become a safe spot after my home & valuables were vandalized so thank you for having a spot for me & my treasures.I used to recommend another place however U haul for the best customer experience & they take pride like an actual owner not like other locally owned storage facilities

Five employees were working but my check in process took 15 minutes because of inexperienced staff. Not one offered to help me find my storage unit. I had to return to the office 3 times for help caused by the staff’s negligence. Everyone was nice, but a little lazy.

Suggestion: pls, allow to have your Uhau app with a confirmation by a email, because not all people have a mobil with txt , I could not receive a code to activate my account due to lack of a mobil with txt. People use email for security reasons as well. Also, the employees are nice and friendly staff but wit lack of training due to bad management. The managers are lack of good presence / no manners and they don’t training their staff. Besides that , the storage units are very good. Thanks, Arturo T.

Jonathon was EXTREMELY HELPFUL I never expected a store to be so busy on a Sunday morning. On a 100 degree + day and an awful truck rental experience he checked in on me and even offered water. And at the end of the day when my brains and body were exhausted he still had the patience to answer my questions.

Love the drive-in bay to unload/load. Really appreciated the available carts to assist with moving items into the storage unit. The location is very clean and well maintained.

Only problem is your advertising dimensions. 5' = 3"???? If you advertise 5' we expect 5' not 3'. I'm surprised you haven't been sued for false advertising. But it is good for my needs.

Twice my reservation got messed up. And I had to deal with multiple people and nobody knew how to do their job. They all had to get someone else to “help”. Finally I was told I had a unit ready and that I would receive a call when it was done being cleaned. 3 days went by, and I never received a call. I called the store and they said I didn’t have a reservation anymore because I never came back in to sign the contract. I stated that I was never told to come back in at any point, I was told I would receive a call when it was finished being cleaned and ready for me to move in. The lady on the phone sounded very irritated, and decided to hold it for me once again for a later date. I go in on that day, and they STILL had no reservation with my name. They had to now call the store manager who had me down. Once I finally was able to sign the contract, I was told my unit would have a lock and key. I got inside and there of course was no lock or key. I went back into the store and stood inside for 5-10 minutes waiting on somebody to come inside to help me. I told the person that they did not leave me a lock and key in my unit and she had no idea how to help me, and I once again was sent to somebody else. That person grabbed a new lock and key from the shelf and gave it to me and they both walked off without saying a word. Terrible service.

I had called a few days before starting the move due to waiting on the storage to be cleaned and was told that it was cleaned and ready for move in. When we arrived the storage had not been clean and there was no clock. We asked for a clock and was told that they were currently out. The member had nothing nice to say and did not help in anyway or suggest that she would have it cleaned.
