My agent was very respectful and helpful. The other agent working with him was not wearing a mask and seemed put off when a customer asked him to put one one to help her. When I returned the vehicle, I walked in and there was an elderly couple at the desk getting help. The Agent was not wearing a mask, although the couple was both wearing masks. He told me he would email me my receipt and before I left, I said to the agent that he needed to put a mask on and he shrugged me off. I said it again and he said something about how he had it on earlier. I reminded him that he was supposed to wear a mask for his customer's safety and not his own. He seemed disinterested in my concern for this elderly couple that was standing on the other side of his desk. Very disturbing.

Location is grossly understaffed. Employee was doing the best that he could. I had reserved a trailer online the day before. When I arrived to pick it up , it was buried in a snow pile from a storm over a week ago. He broke his butt shoveling it out and I assisted in pushing it out of the snow. Buy a snowblower, hire more people and give this gentleman a raise. Shame on you!

Check engine light was on right when we picked up the truck, truck felt like it was stuck in gear , the drivers door wouldn't shut completely which is really unsafe , and when we went to return it it wouldn't start right away , even when we told the staff members at U-Haul in Norwood they had a hard time turning in the truck.

I know this is Covid season. And the representative that I dealt with was very courteous and professional. My only issue is that I waited in line long enough to pay my movers $110 an hour. My appointment was for 9 AM And I left U-Haul at 9:47 AM. I ended up going inside because the U-Haul app did not function properly. Every time I signed in it threw me out stating “your session has expired.” When I tried to call no one ever picks up the phone that is listed online; there's is an automated system that continuously speaks a recorded message with no resolve. As stated previously there was no issue with the representative. If it all possible I would choose a different service just to spare myself from the aggravation.

Horrible experience. I booked it for 8am contactless pick-up, and I showed up to have no truck waiting for me. There were no keys in the drop box. So I had to come back after 9. Staff did not apologize for their error, they were not wearing masks, and could care less. Also, the truck was piled in behind another truck so I was further delayed because they had to move the other truck. The fact that staff were not wearing masks during this pandemic is reason enough for me to never use uhaul again. Incredibly unprofessional

Overcharged me for the fuel. I used truck for only 28 miles, before returning I put 3 gallons of gas in the truck, then on the receipt I noticed that I was charged another $5.25 for 1.5 gallons. So, are you trying to say that 4.5 gallons needed for 28 miles? That's 6.2 miles per gallon!!! If that's true, I would never order such trucks again.

Uhaul has the best variety and availability of equipment, but the staff at every location needs significant coaching, They don't acknowledge customers when they arrive, they never smile, they move painfully slowly even when there is a long wait, they don't apologize for the wait, none were wearing masks during this time of pandemic. This has always been enough of a problem at UHaul that I would quickly use a different company if I could find one close by with the same equipment availability.

Clean the inside of the windshield and fix the windshield washer motor. Otherwise excellent friendly service. Pricing is a little confusing lots of added taxes and stuff.

My first pick up in Walpole there was at least 4 inches of snow on the seat and on the floor on the drivers side and the passenger door was frozen shut . The truck was not cleaned off .. then went to Norwood instead to pick up the truck and it had a flat tire and had to ask them to fixed it bravura we notice it not them .... picked up

Truman Parkway customer service is awful! I rented a truck online, went to pick up and it wasn't available. Truman did not care and simply said go to Norwood they have one. In short I ended up paying double in milage because of the location switch. Thankfully the employees in Norwood were amazing!

The staff is no good nowhere to be found every time I go there I have to wait at least 20 mins just to talk with someone Not only that they charged me an extra 80 dollars for unit that was a suppose to be a month free! I got charged not fair not only did I rent the truck but also got charged for the unit.... the guy who was dealing with this got fired a couple of weeks go so now that staff is just giving me the run around and I have yet to receive my 80 dollars or at least another month free of storage I wound not recommend this facility or the staff There is one young lady who works at uhaul that was very friendly and polite can't remember her name she was there only one time but the rest of the crew was not helpful

Location is understaffed. At pickup and drop off, there was only a single representative working and multiple customers. Staff is friendly and helpful, just needs more help. Also I had trouble with the mobile app on my Android phone, it kept showing an old reservation as being open, but when I log into my account on my computer, it's closed. I could not see my current rental on my phone. After rebooting my phone, then logging out and back in, did it clear up.

I might--we had to wait a long time as the computer system was down and the person in front of us didn't have a reservation. Once we were taken it was quick. Good customer service would have done us first and have the other person wait. Also, we were given somewhat wrong information regarding the truck. It was in the right lane but behind a truck in front of use which required getting someone to move the truck for us. Not a lot of fun trying to find a truck in the rain!

No one came out for close out, though the sign said to stay in the vehicle and some one would be there. Went inside and no visible customers but told system was down and they would close out when up again.

System was down when I got to the Uhaul location so I had to wait About 15 minutes for that to get back running. Then the truck I was given had a different mileage and fuel reading then what was on the contract so I had to change trucks, taking an additional 10 minutes.

We pick up on October 17th at 7:06am and we drop off on October 17th at 11am. When I checked our bill it was listed as follows: Pick up on October 17th at 7:06am Drop off on October 17th at 12:53 pm The person at the desk was busy, because he had at 4 people in front of us and he said are you dropping off and we said yes. He said he would check us back and that we could leave, because he would send an email of our charges. Why did we get charged from 7:06am - 12:53pm when we drop off at 11am.

I booked my Uhaul several days in advance to pick up in Norwood, MA. I got to Norwood, and they told me that they didn't have my truck available and essentially "oops, have a good day." As a result, I had to book a NEW reservation for a DIFFERENT Uhaul location. As if this was not horrible enough, Uhaul charged me 99cents per gallon of gas, instead of the agreed upon 79cents/gallon. As a result, they got an extra $8 out of me. HORRIBLE experience. Will never use again.

1 Following the app check-in the app said the key to the vehicle is inside. (The office) then I go inside and wait in line for my turn to just Collect the keys. I spent a lot of time To check-in through the app but I still needed to stand in line. This does not make sense. 2. There are a lot steps in the app. The cellular strength was poor in the area and the app took too long to refresh and also through me the beginning screen a few times. It was frustrating 3. Perhaps the app should collect the driver id photos ahead of the time at the time of reservation rather than at the time of pick up

The representatives didn't wear a mask at all! I parked the vehicle, did an online return and went to drop off the key and the representative told me I need to move the vehicle to another location. Of course, I didn't do this as the online instructions didn't specify anything like this.

My only concern was that there were 3 staff members behind the counter when I arrived. Their masks were either on their chin or just covering their mouth. None were covering their nose. When I mentioned it to the person taking care of me, my request was ignored.

I did have a problems initially finding where to pick up the truck. I had to call three different locations, but all of them were courteous and caring. A guy named Anthony, was at the last place I called, and he got me straight. Promote that guy!

Originally scheduled to pick up at another location- they didn't have my truck available, after being on hold for 45 minutes (after I was supposed to pick up) they were able to change my location for a new truck. Horrible experience, time I'll never get back, will never use again

The overall experience was what I expected which is just average. Not very impressive. The 24/7 online process was time consuming, but it's typically very time consuming in person as well. I don't think I've ever rented a truck from UHaul and have made it out of the pick up process in under 30 minutes. The truck itself was not maintained well. There are dents and scratches all over the truck. One marker light was broken and missing. One headlight did not work (low or high beams). There was a crack in the windsheild. Overall, the truck performed as expected except the ride home at night was a bit difficult due to the one dim headlight.

Jabriel and the team at 390 Providence Highway in Norwood have been excellent! After our U-box tipped over, Jabriel went out of his way to help us out. I doubt we’ll ever get another U-Box, but we will definitely continue using this location for our storage needs!

Cargo elevator was very difficult to work. Also ridiculous to have an elevator just to have to move belongings up stairs for the split level. Whenever called for customer service - went to national uhaul company which did not make me feel valued or important.

The manager (I wish I could remember his name, it started with a J) was super friendly and repeatedly went out of his way to help us. We visited the Norwood location on several occasions to rent 2 trucks and 2 storage units. The location was very busy and he still remembered us each time we came in and worked hard to help out the many customers coming in and out. There were admittedly some glitches along the way, such as our key card not working and the elevator being stuck, but they worked everything out for us quickly and professionally. If I could change anything, I would ask U-Haul to give these guys some more head count so they could get some extra help in these busy and unprecedented times. Thanks for everything!

Place was always dirty. Customers bathroom i.e. inside where the actual storage units are located was never clean and trash all over. Parking lot always had trash. Card reading machines to access my storage unit never worked properly. I complained to management nothing was done.I went to a local competitor who had cheaper prices and cleaner premises. U-Haul should be embarrassed to run such poorly maintained facilities.
