Staff was friendly but was being helped by a trainee. All good. I was patient even though I was in a hurry. During the check in process I was told a confirmation text would be sent to me, nothing about confirming mileage when I got in the truck. Just a â€œconfirmationâ€ text. Long story short the truck had understated the starting mileage and I was charged 40 miles more than I should have. Will be using other means from now on.KYLE B.

I answered staff not helpful due to all the issues this past year that I have had with UHaul. Unfortunately it was not until 2 days before my move out that I finally spoke to a representatgive on the phone that has put in a complaint and will be having someone call me. That being said Jen and Amber who I dealt with on my last weekend of having the storage were great. The problem has been management there before and the horrendous treatment by customer service and the third party billing company that screwed up my account and then forced me to pay to prevent a lock out when they were holding my checks and cashing them late. I have been trying for a year to deal with the billing issues to no avail and told I cannot talk to the billing company and customer service was horrendous and would not give me any way to put in a formal complaint of all the disrespect I have received. It was not until the Friday before my move out that I got a rep who actually helped and put in a complaint and is having the gentleman from the complaint department contact me. I will never ever due business w/UHaul again. I have never in my life experience such horrendous customer service and disrespect from any company I have ever done business with throughout my life. I have no words to truly express how bad it has been. So my rating for Uhaul would be less than the poor rating if it were possible to give a lower rating. AGain this has nothing to do with Jenn or AMber that I dealt with on my last weekend. But prior to them - the office staff was an issue and the customer service. The location is great and staff wonderful but the 10FT Box Truck was very damaged with over 50 x marks on it for dents! I was clean inside cab. The truck made a terrible noise like the transmission was about to go. The truck stalled out 4 times on the way to the job I was using it for. I rent several imes a month and have never had this bad a truck beforeSARAH H.

Staff at the location was great. My problem is with Uhaul business practices, which I would give a 2 or 3. I reserved a 20' truck at least three weeks in advance. The day the truck was to be picked up, they had no 20' trucks available. We had to make due with several trips in the 15' truck they had on site. The truck snafu increased my personnel and mileage costs. Go ahead and reserve whatever you like; when you pick it up, they'll give you whatever they have. I don't see the point of making a reservation if it's first come first served.TROY M.

I am writing this because I was treated like a kid !! The Mt Pleasant store in New Bedford told me that I could not use my bank5 card. She said that u need Bank of America.. I never heard that before she refused to help me and she was so rude!! On top of it I had reserved the van the day before and everything was fine .. when I got there she told me that I could not use my card sorry it's policy!! So then I went to Rockdale and they said they had never heard of that and I used my card that she said I couldn't and everything was fine!! Rockdale location was awesome very nice and actually gave me a van to rent.. I'm writing this so someone could reach out to me because I believe that was very bias!! The clerk who assisted me provided excellent customer service and was very helpful in providing me information in regards to my rental. The vehicle that o rented was not well maintained and operated extremely under performance during my move. It struggled to keep up on the highway and the check engine light kept coming on and off during my ride.MICHAEL C.
We needed a last minute rental to transport a dining room table. The enclosed trailer was affordable and clean, and the office worker that helped my husband was kind and thoughtful. Vehicle was reserved in advance with guaranteed pick up at location. This was a great experience. I needed a van to pick up construction materials for a remodel. The gentleman who assisted us was very helpful and courteous, I think his name was Michael Porter. The van was just the right size to get everything done in one trip, it was clean and ran well. Drop off was easy too with the option for after-hours return. Luckily, I was able to drop it off just before closing time. I handed the keys to Michael, didn't have to wait and got my receipt in the mail.
