Truck I rented was in good shape and the representatives at the Uhaul location were very helpful.

Bruce B.Your time frames/mileage are unreasonable. I was picking furniture up in Trotwood, and I could not get a truck in Trotwood. I had to go all the way on the East side of Dayton. That extra 10-15 miles put me over the designated mileage that I had to pay for. UHaul is already pricey, and the extras are ridiculous.

douglas B.Anthony was GREAT at checking me in and getting me going. It is winter time and the truck I was assigned to was not warmed up, drove it back to Lambertville MI to load and the back door was frozen shut. I called and the female who answered said I could drive it back and they would de-ice it. WHY wouldn't the truck be warmed up and ready to go for the customer???? Renting a truck is not cheap. Is Uhaul ALL about Money these days? Rates on your storage units have gotten out of hand too
Laurie K.Usually this location is not somewhere I like to go but it is the closest to me and usually has the equipment I need. Yesterday was different, Lamont Tall helped us and he was the best employee there! He was quick, kind, and experienced. He deserves a raise, seriously! The other employees at this location are almost always rude, inexperienced, and take forever. If this location had more people like him employed it would be a great establishment.

MICHELE D.I have a few concerns with the recent uhaul rental. The truck hesitated to start everytime like the battery was dying and the back of the uhaul also leaked water and got my belongings wet. I'm thankful that I didn't not have anything on the drivers that could ruined such as furniture. Just got my totes wet. But I was a little upset over all with the condition of the truck. The staff on the other hand was great, he got me in and out in about 10 minutes.

david W.All went great EXCEPT - we changed the drop off location and timing after we picked up, the 800 number representative we spoke to, Nicolette, was poorly trained, could not provide the criteria used to calculate costs when making changes, was exasperated that I would challenge her response that "the computer does it" , generally treated me as a nuisance, and indicated the cost would be "2-3 times as much" when in fact it was essentially the same cost. She needs more training.

Robert T.I rented a 10' truck. Not until after I picked it up and prepared to load furniture, did I discover that this size truck does not have a loading ramp. Very disappointing! I had to get a bigger truck. It leaked oil on the driveway.

Alan D.Installer was on a call to pick up stolen equipment, so was not at the store at the time of my appointment. I was not notified prior to my arrival, therefore, I had to make arrangements to have someone pick me up and leave my vehicle. I should have been notified beforehand.
Debra B.The process of picking up my truck was unorganized. I checked in via the mobile app and when I went to get my key they had given my truck to someone else right before me. So when I tried to put in my mileage I was unable to. It was sort of a mess.

Johnnie J.Staff never, greet me or told me their names. Did not assist me when I said I did not know how to do the new phone registration. I have been using uhaul for years and never experienced this customer service. Even a upon returning equipment, wait in truck no one came out. Again no one greeted me or told me their names, even after I mentioned that to employees. Moving is a extremely stressful situation and this more stress. Very disappointed with experience today. And yes I asked for the manager's name and contact information along with corporate contact information. Very disappointed!!!!

Never have I been talked to by a business I have done past and current business with like that. I can tell you with 100% confidence We will never use them again.
nice car C.Take the time to show customer how to safely secure and connect the auto transport to your car. This process was rushed and the two gentlemen chuckled because my husband had questions while trying to safely connect our car.
sharita L.during the pick-up process I was very uneasy when, without asking for permission or consent, your agent snapped a photo of me on what looked like a personal phone. why was this needed when the photo on my state issued license was already compared AND ALSO photographed. the chances of identity theft or abused PII from this practice are there... the legal team at U-Haul should review this practice and weigh in before you're smacked with a big lawsuit. Otherwise, good experience but the picture taking was bothersome.
Don E.The mobile checkin is a joke! Also the gal checking me in was doing her work but had a conversation going through video chat the entire time. This is completely unacceptable for security reasons. You ar re sharing personal information back and fourth amd now you have someone on video chat that can write all this stuff down. Felt creepy

Very unprofessional; very low emotional intelligence. I will seek to avoid Uhaul going forward. If I were in Uhaul's corporate office, I'd fire Jessica. She's damaging your brand and reputation. Never been treated like this in any interaction I've ever had at any business and I'm 45. I will not be returning and will steer family and friends in a different direction.

Rick O.Checking in took over an hour with no assistance available. Calling my contacts to verify is ridiculous when it's no one else's business if I'm renting a uhaul truck. The worst part is no one was available to help you by phone. I wasn't able to finish moving because I couldn't get my truck on time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Get ready to take a million pictures and upload them all to a website in order to rent and return the truck, oh and share my location. What a total joke. I will never rent at uhaul again! Also, the amount I paid to do all the work? This was too much stress on moving day. Additionally, I was over-charged in the end by $15.00 which I will be disputing with my credit card company.

Cynthia A.on 10/20/22, i went in to rent a van with U Haul at 2701 N Reynolds road Toledo Ohio, i gave my details and payment, drove the van and return few minutes and ended my transaction. The next day 10/21/22 i got a call that the payment didn't go through, i told the lady i will check with my Bank, which i did and i was told no transaction of such was made., i called back and the guy i spoke with, told me it been resolved.. on 10/24/22, i get email and various text messages of nor payment that my name will be sent to collection. i drove to Toledo from Michigan to resolve the issues on getting there, i brought out my debit card the customer representative told me, she don't know how to use the system to debit, she called on her colleague, who tired and could not. she then made a call to her supervisor, after the call she told me, the supervisor will call me the next day to get my payment details, (On my way from the store i got an email from the same person i just left in the store, sending me a formatted promising letter, a promising note, is for someone who has refused to pay, i didn't refuse to pay, i gave my payment details, if your customer representatives don't know how to operate the system i should not suffer for it) i specifically told the lady at the store ,i will be free between 12;30pm to 1pm. when I'm on break. i didn't get a call from her or the supervisor, when i got off at about 5pm, i saw a missed call from the U Haul number, , the call came in at about 1;17pm, i put a call through, a guy picked the call, i was explaining my reason for calling and the call went off, i called back immediately, it rang no response. i tired again and a very nice lady picked it and told me to hold on so she can speak to someone from the store, after several minutes, she got back to me and said no one is picking the call and promise someone from the store will get back to me. i did not receive a call, i called again, as usual, no response.
Clara P.Supposed to open at 7.00am….. I called the day before to confirm my reservation for 7.30 am and all seemed well. I arrived at 7.15…it was not open so I waited and at 8.10 I finally called the national number. Someone there called the local manager and she arrived at about 8 20am. She was less than friendly and not one word of apology.

Patrick A.Firstly the staff was cool and helpful! I only had trouble with my storage unit itself! It was leaking inside and should not have been! The staff was very helpful whenever it came to trying to help me with this situation but in all my clothes were ruined along with lots of my children's clothes, shoes, and toys along with a few other household items and jackets, coats, hoodies ruined. So get insurance and be safe than sorry.
