The trailer was dirty on the outside, but based on our weather I was not concerned as washing it would have likely been an issue with the door freezing up, although there was moderate amount of debris and sawdust on the inside and probably should have been swept out. Otherwise I would not have mentioned the cleanliness. It was well maintained mechanically. The staff at check in and check out, were amazingly courteous, helpful and hard working. Both made me feel like I wanted to come back and do business with Uhaul again.

Have the complete measurements of all equipment. This experience was disorganized, staff did not know measurements and were unwilling to help. None of them would go outside to measure what we needed. We had to go there personally. A 6 x 12 trailer’s ramp was not 6’ wide. Too narrow for the atv we advised of. We were delayed at the first location for 45 min then sent clear across the city in rush hour to look at another option since they would not take measurements. This entire experience took over 4 hours. The drop off was just as disorganized. The trailer was to be dropped off within 24 hours. We HAD to have it returned in 48 hours. The Drop off location then told us they were closed and to come back on day 3.

The windows on the pick-up were covered in frost. In my opinion when a customer picks up a vehicle it should be ready to drive off the lot and not having either to wait for the heat from the truck heater to de-frost or try to find a scraper somewhere. The staff were very helpful, but the truck should be safe to drive off the lot when it is picked up.

The truck I rented had a faulty windshield wiper and fell off the bracket while in use and driving. I couldn't see properly though the windshield and had to make a detour stop in order to fix it. Otherwise everything else was fine.

well for starters you could charge me what u are supposed to. I was quoted $29.99 for the truck but then when it came time to pay for it it was all of a sudden 39.99 very disorganized behind the desk when the sign where you return the truck says wait here for someone to check u in i expeck someone to come out in a timely manner after 15 mins of waiting I finally had to go in

I tried to rent a van a couple of weeks ago using my Visa debit. It did not work. In order to rent a van I got a credit card with a $500 credit limit on it. I have more money in my bank account than I will allow to be on my credit card. Being required to have a post paid credit card makes no sense. My credit rating has nothing to do with my ability to drive safely.

Gave back the van with more fuel than I picked up and they said that I should have done the inspection. The representative should have an actual meter reading for the gas. And they charged me extra $17 for gas.

Front desk person was great. However, the cargo van was listed as suitable for moving a one bdrm apartment but was actually too small for that purpose, requiring several trips. One more small issue: the van was provided with the side windows frosted over with ice but no scraper was provided with the vehicle. Had to use a library card to deice the side windows!

I booked my rental trailer at the Inkster location which is 1 mile from my home. I received an email that I had to pick up my trailer at the Regent location which is many miles from my home. It would have been nice if they could have arranged for me to pick it up at the Inkster location. I asked if I could at least return the trailer to the Inkster location but was told that I cannot do so.

I tried to call on saturday i was over charged for the mileage of the vehicle i paid for 20 kms before getting the vehicle and then was charged 81 kms after. For two 18km trips. There and back. I would like someone to call me back when it is open. 20488000565

It would be great to have the option to return the truck to a different location. I spent a lot of additional driving time to access a truck and return it again when I was only a km away from another location.

I tried calling the store to get information and had a very difficult time getting ahold of anyone. I don't think this is the fault of the staff but it is the fault of UHaul for cutting back on enough staff to deal with issues. Otherwise, happy with the service.

When we first got there, we had to wait as they boosted the truck (apparently lights were left on). The transmission wasn't shifting properly which causes vehicle to use excessive amounts of fuel and the truck we used pulls to the right when driving.

The truck ran pretty well, just thought the 10-speed transmission was pretty odd. It kept downshifting and upshifting the whole time plus the engine would stop and restart constantly. Except for that everything else was fine.

The interior of the rental van was filthy, I asked for a truck with a 6’2” opening from floor to top of door frame, was not given one. Truck had no ramp for loading or unloading.

The worst part of our uhaul experience was that no one contacted us to let us know our u-box had arrived from Toronto. Pathetic that you can't even email. Customer service was rude and unhelpful.
