After speaking with 2 customer service representative about someone to remove auto transport, I get there and no one to remove. I had to get this done by someone else and when I returned the truck and tow dolly the manager made all kinds of excuses. He stated "the customer service is based in Arizona and they don't know anything about the location". The representative advise because it is a center, everyone should be trained on how to remove equipment. Clearly that is not the case. I will not do business there again.Areatha S.

The communication between Ubox and Uhaul seemed to be terrible. We were first tole our boxes would be delivered on Friday. Then Uhaul called and said it would be delivered on Sunday, Spoke to manager locally and she said she did not know why we were told Sunday as there were no deliveries Sunday. I received no notification of this and had to spend a long time on the phone over several call s trying to find out when the U Boxes were delivered, Got a call on Monday saying the 4 Uboxes would be delivered on Monday. I had to ask for a window ans was initially told between midnight and 10 PM. I had to insist on getting that window narrowed down and they did get it narrowed down to 10 AM to 5 PM. The boxes showed up Monday at about 3:300 PM on Monday. There was frustration with the local UHaul people not being communicated with by the national Ubox team. Overall a very frustrating experience. We understand things happen but please communicate to your customers so that they do not waste their time. I had to wait an entire day waiting for boxes that never came even though I was told they would come. I never received a communication until I took the initiative . I never received an apology or any offer of compensation. Uhal was very quick to charge me an additional month on storage of 4 boxes when they they were only held for a couple of day after the 30 days. Yet when they delay me by several days there is apology or compensation from UHaul. Again I understand there can be circumstance that come up but please pick up the phone and communicate.to each other and your customers. Thank You ThanJoel C.

His customer service/soft skills are way below satisfactory and he should not be at the front counter as the 1st contact with customers coming in to the facility. The only problem I had was that online my reserved pickup time was changed without my approval so I was "late"for my pickup time and my truck was taken by someone else. I was very ill and out of town. Got behind on storage fee and could not get help at the locate office to make arrangements. Called over 20 times and could NEVER get anyone on phone then I flew in and stopped by locate office . Clerk stated I need to talk to manager and I left my number. Never got a call back. Was completely screwed over by the mobile pickup. My pickup location was changed day of by the employee at the original store and he never labeled it as a mobile pickup, even though we discussed it on the phone. When I arrived after hours (but the correct time of my pickup) the app would not let me get the truck. Customer service line took 45 min to get ahold of and we ended up having to drive to another location in the complete opposite direction of where we were going. By the time we had finally gotten it and packed up, it was midnight and we hit a huge storm and didn't get to our final destination until 3:30amâ€¦. I will never be using U-Haul again.Eleanor H.
No one greeted me when I walked in, the owner finally did and wasn't polite. The girl beside him was complaining about the customer she had on the phone. Then they talked negatively about another group coming in. Finally when I dropped off later, there was another employee who was rude and ready to get me out the door. The staff at this location were friendly, courteous and professional. The only problem we encountered was that we did not receive a code for the drop box so we could leave the key after hours which meant my husband had to drive back to the store the next morning to give them the key. The vehicle was good. The steering pulling to the right a bit, but not horrible, just the steering wheel was not straight. The wiper blades were in bad shape and the inside of the windshield was hazy and made it difficult to see at night with on coming traffic.MICHAEL B.

rented 10ft truck one way online truck was not available at 1st location and was told to pick up at another location went to 2nd location..contract was changed somehow to in city only in transition from one store to another ,why would i do that having paid for 600 miles for 2 days one way...very frustrating since there were no other options uhaul or rental cars in whole city and beyond. I rented two trucks. The first had no issues. The second the zip ties for the hand truck and furniture pads were cut and the pads were out throughout the truck. When calling to report this I couldn't not reach the location directly and spoke to a very rude reservation specialist who informed me he did not know what I was talking about. My hitch wiring was installed in my rear spare tire storage compartment of my SUV. I was not told upfront that it would not be installed under the vehicle by the hitch itself. I would of had it installed at the dealership had I known. I am really ticked off that I was not told of the installer's intentions. I needed the plug by the hitch. I did not want it inside my car. He had no idea of my intentions for use. When I questioned his installation, replied â€œthat's how we do it here.â€david M.

I didn't have the best experience. I had a hitch put on my vehicle and it was problematic from the scheduling through the installation. I made the appointment through the U-Haul website for a few days out. I showed up at the location to find out that my appointment had been pushed out a week. I did get an email confirming this but I didn't pay attention to the day change because I had to reason to. Come to find out, this new date U-Haul set isn't even the actual appointment day. Someone at the store has to reach out via phone call after the parts have arrived to create the final appointment. Fast forward, I get a call at the end of that day that my hitch has been installed but the wiring harness is not compatible with my vehicle even after an employee confirmed that it was. The only reason I'm rating so highly is because one employee went way out of his was to go get the right hitch from another store while another employee helped me order a new harness from a different company on the spot. Much of this confusion was out of the hands of the employees at the store level and I commend them for their customer service efforts.Michael S.
When I got the unit, I purchased one of the U-Haul locks that are sold at the counter. Once I put my belongings in the unit and locked it, the lock broke and broke one of the keys off inside. When I talked to the staff, they stated they could not do anything. When I called them on their bluff, they would not work with my schedule to have their locksmith come out and remove THEIR crappy lock. Thankfully, I was able to get my belongings out after trying for two months to get it off. My engineer friend was able to get the lock off and discovered that the lock was designed to break purposely. I would not recommend this staff or their units, even though the units themselves are nice and convenient. I will choose another facility and my own lock next time.CHRISTOPHER M. | Overall Experience
I was givien a 24 hr rental rented equipment at 7 am on. 9/4 told mgr I needed equipment for 24 hours mgr told me I needed to have everything back before 9 am to avoid charges â€¦ I brought equipment back at 4 am I got charged for 1 day at 33.00 plus another 5 this is unacceptable I did my end â€¦.EDWARD C.

Manager proactively recommended another wiring harness after I had ordered one to be installed. Originally ordered harness would have impacted the wiring warranty on the car. MUCH appreciated! Would be nice to have a waiting area for customers who have to wait for service.William M.
Joy took excellent care of my trailer rental needs and went the extra mile to help me with a pick up truck. It was very busy but she was so friendly and even tho she and another assistant were the only ones there, she took care of your customers with ease and a smile! Just my opinion but on a Sat when a lot of people are renting, I think you should have more employees to serve your customers. Joy is a true asset!!Donice K.

The female that checked me into my storage unit was not helpful whatsoever. She checked me into a unit that had a lock on it and the only option I had was to move all of my stuff upstairs into a unit that was way more expensive and then move my stuff back downstairs after a cheaper one opened up. After we asked if those were actually unlocked she said " I don't know. Feel free to go check." And then we told her that we were about to be $90 for a storage unit I didn't even want and just told her to cancel my subscription, then she stated she'll "gladly" cancel it in a rude tone. I couldn't even tell you her name because she never told me and wasn't wearing a name tag. We also got stuck and couldn't get out because there were 2 trucks trying to return their rental truck and she was taking forever to check them in. They sat there for at least 20 minutes and they were still sitting there waiting on her when we left. Extremely rude customer service. When I got there to move in. The lady stated they did not have anything available. I had made the reservation over the phone. I had to wait until someone moved out that day. In order for me to move in and take their storage unit. That was not a good experience to me.crystal w. | First Impressions
This is a rating for the facility itself. The girls up front took a situation that was horrible by the UHaul.com AND UHaul call center, and turned it in to a pleasant experience. By a miracle, they were able to find the unit I requested and was extremely helpful. For UHaul having a website and a phone number that is directed to a call center, they are NOT unified with the processes and the procedures of each individual locations. If a location is not able to hold a storage unit, then the option should not be provided on the website. This can cause a very big mess when you have a truck of 26' that needs one of the biggest units and it not be available, causing the customer to pay more for a late fee or another day with the truck to search for another storage unit. When calling the call center they will make promises but not back up the promises with the actual location. So makes the location look inadequate when really it is the overhead call center not verifying with the workers on the ground floor. The problem we had was I had a confirmed reservation for the largest storage unit that was made about 2 weeks prior to the arrival. When we arrived we were told that such a unit was NOT available now nor had it been available when we made the original reservation.
