You can do something about the efficiency of booking online. It can be a test of one's patience and perseverance. Nobody enjoys having to put the same information in 2 and 3 times. Why do I have to check my email 3 times during this process? Someone should consider the amount of time it takes standing at the counter, booking over the phone, versus online. Problem with online, I still had to stand in line, and go through the whole process again with customer service. What did you save me by booking online and costing me an extra 30 minutes of my time? And when I did call someone at another location before I tried online booking, I was told that he couldn't help me and that only way to reserve something was to do it online. This episode has me curious to try the competition out next time. Maybe they can help me efficiently.

The internet says that the storage facility is accesable until 10pm and after i rented it and was given a code, i couldn't get in at 6:30 pm and was told the following day that access was only during business hours. I had to ask for a refund that i'm still waiting to be returned. It screwed up my entire moving plan for the weekend.

Fix the virtual check in and stop false advertising with phrase “if your truck is not ready you will receive $50”. I didn't get $50, just over-changed for gasoline upon return.

at first on help 3min 3 men came out to help park trailer

The person helping us attach the car hauler was too lazy to move the trailer so instead he tried to make my father back a 26' truck through two lanes of oncoming traffic and around a dumpster. It was an impossible manuever and almost caused an accident. Eventually someone else came and directed the employee helping us to move the trailer and put it on correctly.

Not a thing, except for the fact that it would be nice to have the slide-out tray to use to roll items up into the truck. This pertains to the small truck. Otherwise, I certainly have no complaints, and I've always been pleased.

There are only a few areas on the Westbank to rent UHauls so not using this location is not an option. The vehicle I was given was a rough ride and needed servicing at the shop when I rented it. I figured this out as the service message came up as I was leaving the lot.

I was given the wrong van, so when it was time to return the van, I had issues with closing the contact. It took an hour to get the contract closed. The guy was nice who was trying to close the contract.

I will never use uhal again! We got our truck 12hrs late and had to go to a different location then we had truck problems so drove to a large uhaul and they told us they couldnt do anything to help we had to call road side and that took over 3 hrs to have someone come and told us to just keep driving with it the way it is so unpleasant, they told us they couldnt compensate and any discount i will tell everyone not to rent uhaul!

Before your employees call people threatening them, they need to be sure they have the facts. I reserved a U-Haul for all day Saturday I was to pick it up Friday night before closing and bring it back Sunday morning at opening. I did everything online I have screenshots of all the proof. This lady called me flipping out talkin about how I'm holding up another customer and I was supposed to have that truck back at her office at 4:30. I had just gotten everything loaded up at 4:30 I knew it was going to take me all day why the hell would I want to return the truck back the same night after I move four bedrooms full of solid wood furniture? This lady was a real idiot. She was yelling and threatening me. Besides that she was dead-ass wrong because I have the reservation on my phone for the exact days that I said. Thanks for being a real dumbass lady!

The automated process of checking out the vehicle was horrible. I had to stand a long time in the rain while someone on my phone app "verified" me and finally gave permission. The number of questions to be the completed and all the photos to be taken were insane. Please discontinue this service and just have your customers go inside and check out their vehicle with a rep. It is astounding that you think the process of checking out a vehicle using the app is acceptable. Many people at U-Haul headquarters should be fired over the decision. Their incompetence of the decision-makers who have chosen to allow customers to be put through this is mind-boggling.

The staff is not well trained on installing and removing auto transport and trailers. The manager at that location said, that customers have to remove their own auto transport and trailers. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SVC!

After flying in from out of town, I found that this location was unable to fulfill my reservation. (Defeats the point of reserving in the first place) Their inventory was not accurate, and they did not have the much needed appliance dolly, nor did they have the ‘one-way' utility trailer that I requested weeks in advance. After this, I was told to drive around to other locations to piecemeal my order together. Not sure what happened to customer service? Not only is their expectation ‘Uhaul' but you do everything else as well. They could have made this process more user friendly by having the needed equipment available. Or, offering to have the equipment brought to the location; so I wouldn't have to drive around on a whim.

the mirror on the driver side...was broken....it would close inward...contantly while driving......the seal to the dolly...broken off easy...while ...the guys were loading and unloading the truck...and i didnt like....explaing to the manager....the packer made a mistake and kick the seal as to where it open...but by mistake.....when i went to pick up the lock out of the lock box....it took approximately ...30 min....cuz i didnt know how to work that kind of lock...and when the agent was on the phone...with me...at midnight ...along....in the dark....trying to open up a lock...that was actually jam.....sock was the code...but cuz it took so long..the agent told me to tryi ...the code...slip...it still didn't work..but the conclusion was it was jam...and took....such strength...that i didnt have..to get this box..up..much pulling ...much fighting with this lock to get it ...open.....the check engine light was on....much ..much ...play in the steering wheel ...steering wieel was extremely lose...while driving......

Very rude service and self check in did not work--began the process which led to a picture of a lock box that was not available for key pick up. Inquired with the gentleman cleaning one of the trucks and he responded, "I can't hear you and I don't know. Go ask someone else in the building, I don't know what you are asking me for." We went into the building, there were two ladies sitting behind the counter and we greeted them and inquired where to find the pictured lock box that UHaul had in the app for self-check in. The black lady asked what we were trying to do, we told her and she proceeded to look at her phone. The white woman asked and then looked up the info. She took out the previous reservation I had made and re-entered. She requested an alternate number for us, I gave it to her and she made a call on the phone. She responds to me, sorry that didn't work so we cannot reserve it. I told her it definitely works, she tried again and says I must've pushed the wrong buttons. Then she holds a private conversation loudly with the black woman and says "I have problems with customers coming up here with attitudes," and then she addresses the gentleman that was cleaning the truck and proceeds to stop what she was doing to speak to him. Once I paid, then she began to get more polite and said she liked the truck that I was renting and goes over the information. Customer service training is desperately needed to enhance the customer experience.

Overall decent experience. However, I booked the unit through your main u-haul corporate number as it was done simultaneously as booking the trailer. The service agent clearly stated that I had a unit at this location that was climate controlled. I get to the location and they do Not have my reservation and cannot offer a climate controlled unit. This was frustrating. Then to be told we will be charged an extra $2 per furniture blanket if we don't fold them....REALLY?! Other than that, experience was decent. Team at this location still was helpful in resolving the issues.

Customer service was Horrible. The young man had an attitude the entire time it was as tho I Interrupt him. He was short, no explanation at all to what I was asking concerning the card to swipe to gain entrance to my storage on the third floor. He was just unconcerned about waiting on me.

I reserved a uhaul for February 29 at 7am ., totally forgot about that time made it to uhaul around 8 only to find the truck was No longer available., no warning Na email reminder nothing. I e reserved vehicles for personal usage and never received this type of service. Uhaul should definitely look into this policy and make the employees more sympathetic with customers because the attitudes are terrible
