Storage was very bad, Most of the time gate will be locked or not working. We will have walk to counter ask them to open. People of counter was very lazy and slow process. It is very big location only person working on the counter. It took 30 mins to complete per person. Storage is very creepy. Maid who is working there she is very very good and patient(50+ women). I picked up my pods. Everyone was very friendly helpful except the african american gentleman at the front desk. Not friendly and seemed to really HATE his job. There was confusion on delivery. Everything was great, except that the keypad to access my unit does not work and thus I cannot access it by myself. That's really bad and made the whole experience a lot worse. I stood in line for over an hour, once I got to the counter it only lasted about 4 minutes for me to complete the transaction. I had made my reservation in advanced, thank goodness. When I arrived there was a line of people of about 15-20, it moved slow and with only one counter person and then I think that person walked off the job. Then another counter person came in and they did not start assisting for about twenty or so minutes. The owner was there checking people out, I heard him snap at a few people. Customer service was horrible. When I went back to drop off the truck, once again, about 20 or so people in line and the same scenario.Terry W.

I spent some much money on a truck that was overheating. Had to figure out paying to get my load off on top of that truck was empty when they gave it to me. I filled it up full and Ross manager at uhaul said my fuel money cannot be reimbursed when clearly wasn't my fault if truck was properly working I would have used all my fuel. We had to return the 20ft truck we originally rented and get a 26ft truck instead. The mechanic on site apparently warned the Manager NOT to send us in the 26 foot truck they had given us because it was having mechanical issues. Sure enough, we got it loaded and then it started driving poorly. We had to go back to the Rental location and get a different 26ft truck, and unload the orignal truck onto the new 26ft truck. The manager even made a remark that "we should have just called the 800 number to have it fixed". I feel like we should not have been sent in a truck that was so iffy to begin with.Kahle L.

First, the truck initially displayed on my app was leaving the lot with another customer when I found it on the parking lot. It was apparently assigned to both of us (one on paper and me on app). Also, I was reassigned to this location to pick up my truck and I was promised some additional mileage allowance, which I am not sure (since I couldn't see) if it was actually granted and how many. Lastly, I not only had to pick up the key from the guy inside but also the rugs were missing in the truck. Overall, it took me multiple trips inside the office and also waiting times before I was able to drive away.morgan T.

Unable to check out trailers online. Reason stated associate needs to connect trailer and send pics for insurance. Online check out avoiding line associates can still connect trailer and take pics. Waited in line for over an hour 2 weeks in a row. Turned in trailer overnight and was charge for 4 days of rental, had trailer for less than 24hrs. This was the worst movement of goods that I have ever had. The box was not at the location we were sent to. We were sent to another location. When the mover we hired to pick up the goods and deliver them to us (hired through UHAUL) he was told they were not there. I must have spoken to at least 10 people to locate the goods and the mover went out of his way to deliver the next day. He then returned the box on March 26th. I then received a bill of $103.15 for April rental. I did not have a rental. After speaking to about 3 people, I was told they made a mistake and put the returned box in storage. They stopped the billing and said I would receive a refund of the April amount of $103.15. I still have NOT received the refund. Could you please get that returned to me?Janet L.

Truck was in poor condition, with a large hole in the driver's seat. Person in charge of the facility arrived more than one hour after our appointment time. I called multiple times, and nobody was able to tell me what was going on or how long it would be until I could access my U-box, and I was just left there to wait. I ended up having to drive to Dallas twice in one day (2hours one way) to get the uboxes myself even though I paid for the them to be delivered due to them not having the right trailer for the mover help to bring them. The guy at the location was extremely rude. I had a 15' truck with a tow trailer for my car. The agent at this location wanted me to return the truck to another location because he didn't want to go through the hassle of unhitching the trailer. My contract clearly stated this location as the drop of point but he was adamant about me returning it to an Ivring location. I think they need to hire more staff. When I arrived I went in asked the older white male for assistance with the auto transport to take my car off (that's what I was told to do from Chantilly location), he advised to get in my car and someone will be over to guide me down. Here is where I had the issue I advised him that I couldn't get in because the things were blocking the doors, he said they come off just pop them off or something to that sort. I said i don't know how and I was not there when U-Haul put it together. He then rolled his eyes and shook his head as if I worked for U-Haul and I knew what he was talking about. At that point Jesse just came and told me I can help you ma'am (thank goodness). He then guides me off I advised him I'm waiting on movers where can I move truck he told me at the storage unit. Well they have not giving me one yet so no access. He then told me to pull over to the right. I waited in the truck until he can move the auto transport for maybe 5 to 10 minutes because I could not back up with it there. I got out and asked when he was moving it he told me it would be a while and just leave my truck there. I go inside speak with Barbara (very nice) she calls the young lady to show me the units. The one I selected had a big helium tank in there. She advised by the time I get back it would be moved. Well i came back the tank was right outside my unit actually in the way. However my movers moved everything in. We closed the door had a little struggle but we got it closed. Went to open it back up and it would only lift half way. Just realizing after unloading that the unit door was broken. I went and spoke with Barbara Advised her it was broken and when shut the top right side is kinda open. She then said she would get one of the men to look at it. I had to go because It was almost 3 o'clock at that moment I had been there since 12p with all the waiting and going back and forth. She then advises me to come in tomorrow and my stuff would be fine because they have cameras everywhere. This was a very stressful experience. Despite several phone calls to the actual facility to double check , all my calls were siphoned off to main Your customer service dept phone line - they know nothing about the individual facilites , booked the wrong size storage unit and AND told me That as long as I arrived before closing ( moving from four hours away ) that my movers could unload my 26 ft truck That night. What a mess!! When I arrived well before closing , was to we were Not able to unload , didnt have a correct size unit booked there, finally got a couple of units secured for unloading in the morning , after the booking mixup - but when we arrived ! They had no air conditioning!! In texas!! Though that had always been my request - Air conditioned unit - One unit had holes in the wall - Apparently all they had available to fix the problems I will never, ever ever use your facilities again - It was a complete nightmare experience and my stuff is now storage in the heat and cold - Your customer service people do not!
