Office staff was late on sunday, they had to be open from 9 am and got their till 10:30. I had things to do early and they pushed me back.

I needed to rent a trailer but there were none available. That was the first reason I gave you an average score. I had to spend DOUBLE what I normally would have paid. Then, you charged me for storage for an extra month when I couldn't get a reservation for the day I needed to move. I was charged for a trailer when I came and picked up my Ubox. It was supposed to be free if I picked it up. The Uhaul employee who hooked the trailer up was not very friendly and didn't want to answer any questions. I got a LOT of excuses and no solutions that would have made this a better experience. ‘We are really busy” is not a good excuse for poor service. I won't recommend that anyone ever use Ubox for moving, and I will pay for a moving company next time. Ubox wasn't an affordable solution in the long run.

Yo renté ahí porque estaba cerca de donde tenía que mover unos muebles hasta oakliff y quería entregarlo en un uhaul de por allá para entregarlo a tiempo y no limitar mis 8 horas y no!!!! My pods were all supposed to be in Carrollton way before 30th of April. Also why is it that two different times now I've been charged for shipping but the shipping never once showed up on my U-Haul account as needed to be paid. This has happened twice now once the lady in San Diego office charged me then the guy here on Mocking bird. I'm not sure I didn't over pay. And I'm not sure why I got charged for trailer usage and never took it out of the state? When I turned around and rented a Ubox so I paid for the time I had the trailer. Even though I called and asked for a larger one. And when things got to close I returned it and had to get a box. It would Have been nice to get some kind of help on the trailer or the Ubox since I had three of them with you all

On the receiving end (VA) things did not go very well at all. We were contacted by the local U-Haul agent to schedule the delivery of our box, 3 times, and it was never delivered ! I finally called and got Mimi, who was fabulous !! She was so sorry for all of the issues we had and she went above and beyond to make certain that our box got delivered that afternoon. Mimi was wonderful and made up for all of the awful previous communication with other U-Haul staff. Also the actual delivery driver ( Tim/Tom ?) was terrific as well. Thank you and our sincere appreciation to Mimi.

This was the worst moving experience of my life. Nothing happened as it should have. From the initial booking, to picking up my box, to getting it delivered. Initially I was told that the box would come with a trailer which it did not. Then my contract said my box would be stored at the Lower Greenville location in Dallas. It was not. In fact I had to drive all over the DFW area visiting multiple U-Haul locations until someone was able to locate my box. My contract also said I would be able to access my box whenever I needed to. This was not the case as most of the time I had to provide the location holding my box a minimum of 48 hours to pull my box, and still most of the time they did not have the box ready when I arrived. Lastly, my box was supposed to be delivered to my home between 2:00PM - 4:00PM. The box arrive after 6:30PM and my lock on the box had been broken off leaving my valuables exposed. I will not be referring any of my friends or family in the future. In fact I will actively encourage them not to use U-Haul.

there were too many furniture pads for me personally and they took up a lot of room. maybe ask, on an individual basis the amount they would need. But overall everything was perfect! Communication was perfect. Gracias.

I rented a trailer from this location dropped it off and it was supposed to get turned in after I drop it off but instead I got a call letting me know I needed to extend my contract on a trailer I dropped off at1035 am today and to make the situation worst I was billed twice one in Texas and the other in Shreveport Louisiana how is this possible I rented this trailer for one day and it's cost me now almost $500 you tell me will you be happy with the experience not happy

The oil line and oil cooler on the engine wasn't properly installed after a recent repair and it blew its oil all over the road 4 hours after I got the truck. I've spent HOURS on the phone, on hold, trying to get through to road side assistance and trying to get this resolved. Then on top of that, U-Haul has been charging me every damn day while that truck was out! You folks towed it away a week ago!!! On the rental contracts there has got to be an actual, direct line to the rental location. The fact that the phone number only routes to a National call center is fucking retarded. Fix your shit!

My only issue was with dropoff. No one was there to meet me, and it wasn't very clear what to do. I went inside, and the associate said someone would meet me at the truck. Once someone came, it was pretty easy. There was just a delay and I wasn't sure if I could leave the truck or not.

I reserved a 10 ft Uhaul from another place... I got there about an hour late because I am coming from 6 hours away. When I arrived the Uhaul I reserved was gone. I ended up having to go to another place to get one. Unfortunately.... they only had a 15 ft one (WAY TO BIG) that they could give me. Sure they gave it to me at the same price... unfortunately tho..I only needed 10ft one because my daughter did not have that much stuff. So we tried really hard to pack her things where they would not have wiggle room. This did not work and several of her items broke on the way home (6 hours away). I am completely NOT satisfied with someone being able to just take a truck that has been reserved already. The owner of Chilly Mart in Dallas was very apologetic and did send me to the Harry Hines location.

I would suggest that when someone reports a vehicle issue that it be addressed appropriately such a broken windshield to mark it or note it. As I the customer did report it on the portal as a dispute with the picture but the return location said it was not noted. Per CW & George they were aware and took care of the situation in confirming it was broken when we picked it up. Gracias.

I was over changed for millage but it was claimed; I drove extra miles, which I didn't! Their records keeping as far as millage goes is terrible! The online app they use, doesn't always match the physicals records of the vehicle. And when you tell them, and show them the inaccuracy, they just ignore it and still over change you for their lacks in record keeping. I don't expect a refund because only a reputable business gives one.

A “few” of the employees here are helpful and respectful, but the rest of them seem as though they hate their jobs and couldn't care less about customer service. Returning the vehicle is always the worst part of the rental process at this location. The employees seem to scatter when you pull up to the parking lot. No one offers to check in your rental, and if you are able track one down and ask for assistance, they give you a dirty look as though they don't want to be bothered.

Vehicle was clean but the cup holder part of the dashboard was meshed with stains. The pick up service was cordial but the return service was not so good. Your location is nice. I can recommend your location but service needs improvement. After l packed the vehicle at the usual place of return, l went in to drop the key. I was told to go back and repack at another place. This was no so previously. The service of yesterday was not so good.

We picked up and returned this truck the same within 5 hours of the rental. When we returned the staff told us everything was good and that they would take care of the rest. Later on when we let looked at our bill we were charged for three days. We have yet to receive a refund from the location. These guys are running a scam on uhauls name. If they are a franchise they should be removed. We have three witnesses that dropped the truck the same day. Cameras are present all over the buildings. A simple investigation is at hand for a customer since they did not give us a receipt.

I think they need to hire more staff. When I arrived I went in asked the older white male for assistance with the auto transport to take my car off (that's what I was told to do from Chantilly location), he advised to get in my car and someone will be over to guide me down. Here is where I had the issue I advised him that I couldn't get in because the things were blocking the doors, he said they come off just pop them off or something to that sort. I said i don't know how and I was not there when U-Haul put it together. He then rolled his eyes and shook his head as if I worked for U-Haul and I knew what he was talking about. At that point Jesse just came and told me I can help you ma'am (thank goodness). He then guides me off I advised him I'm waiting on movers where can I move truck he told me at the storage unit. Well they have not giving me one yet so no access. He then told me to pull over to the right. I waited in the truck until he can move the auto transport for maybe 5 to 10 minutes because I could not back up with it there. I got out and asked when he was moving it he told me it would be a while and just leave my truck there. I go inside speak with Barbara (very nice) she calls the young lady to show me the units. The one I selected had a big helium tank in there. She advised by the time I get back it would be moved. Well i came back the tank was right outside my unit actually in the way. However my movers moved everything in. We closed the door had a little struggle but we got it closed. Went to open it back up and it would only lift half way. Just realizing after unloading that the unit door was broken. I went and spoke with Barbara Advised her it was broken and when shut the top right side is kinda open. She then said she would get one of the men to look at it. I had to go because It was almost 3 o'clock at that moment I had been there since 12p with all the waiting and going back and forth. She then advises me to come in tomorrow and my stuff would be fine because they have cameras everywhere. This was a very stressful experience. We had just driven 20 plus hours came in expecting everything to go seamlessly and it did not.

Despite several phone calls to the actual facility to double check , all my calls were siphoned off to main Your customer service dept phone line - they know nothing about the individual facilites , booked the wrong size storage unit and AND told me That as long as I arrived before closing ( moving from four hours away ) that my movers could unload my 26 ft truck That night. What a mess!! When I arrived well before closing , was to we were Not able to unload , didnt have a correct size unit booked there, finally got a couple of units secured for unloading in the morning , after the booking mixup - but when we arrived ! They had no air conditioning!! In texas!! Though that had always been my request - Air conditioned unit - One unit had holes in the wall - Apparently all they had available to fix the problems I will never, ever ever use your facilities again - It was a complete nightmare experience and my stuff is now storage in the heat and cold - Your customer service people do not! Know what they are doing and this centralized phone system is truly a nightmare !

I got the storage n was couldn't access my storage. I was not told that u can't access 24 hrs storage unless it a outside unit. Only allowed wk hrs time. Ask to us a dolly told me 60 dep for 5 min lol
