I have two order numbers: 29442124 and 29442123. On 11/10 I reserved a ubox for 11/17 at 9:00am at UHaul Moving & Storage of East Madison (I received a confirmation with that address). On 11/14 I received an email saying there was an update to my order with a different pickup address and time (11:00am), dropping off by 6:00pm (the store closed at 5:00). I had already made arrangements with my friend to use her vehicle to pick the u-box up at 9:00am. After filing the ubox I realized I would need a padlock, I would have appreciated being made aware of that in advance (not in small print) that I would need a padlock for the ubox, small as it was, it would have prevented an unnecessary expense. After reviewing the receipt I noticed that my rental charge payment went to someone else's account (Carly Meyer contract # 81156086). My online account continued to change dates as to the last date my ubox was accessible to me in Wisconsin. On 11/22 I received an email saying my shipment is on it's way, scheduled to arrive in Dallas on 12/6. That was the last notification I received. On 12/3 I called customer service to confirm where I would be picking the ubox up from and check that's it was still scheduled to arrive on 12/6. I spoke with Melissa who said it arrived on 11/25 and I could pick it up at 9929 Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas. I asked why I wasn't notified it was delivered and she said it would have been on my account. On 12/5 I called to make arrangements for my husband to be added to the account so he could pick the ubox up on his lunch break, at which time I confirmed the pickup address to be 9929 Harry Hines Blvd. On 12/6 my husband went to pick the ubox up and it was not at the location I was told it would be at. On 12/7 we went to pick up the ubox (at a location without any uhaul signage and locked doors, got in through the garage door) we were told we are supposed to give 24 hours notice before pickup, another thing I was not aware of. Doug (who was the greatest part of my uhaul experience) said he could get it for us in 20-30 minutes.  Also, this survey was addressed to my husband, so it seems that rather than adding him as an authorized user, he was made primary. $1,200+ is a lot of money to pay for this kind of service and unfortunately I would not recommend ubox to anyone considering the container route for moving their belongings.

I’ve been going here to rent trucks for my business for the last three years This place is really going downhill. The employees here always seem unhappy, and don’t seem to like their jobs. High employee turnover rate. New faces one month, gone the next. I don’t blame them. The trucks are stinky inside. Makes you want to take a shower after riding in one. Yuck.

drop off was a bit different than usual. She brought the box in with the door facing opposite direction (for easy entry). However, my daughter instructed her to face the garage. Besides it causing us to not be able to use that side of the garage for the week, it was fine. Pick up was scheduled for a Monday. I called to inquire Tuesday. The inquiry did not get to the driver, who was waiting for verbal confirmation that the pick up was ready. (which is not needed). It was finally retrieved on Wednesday.

I reserved a trailer in advance. They were very short handed and was standing in line at least 30 min. The person in charge was a good guy but overwhelmed. The outside kid was buy the book but I was already late getting back to work and wasn’t up for nit picking lights. When dropping off, during lunch again, the kid that received me in did nothing but be on his phone and I had to unhook the trailer myself as he played on his phone. Im not doing business with this place again unless I have nothing better to do.

We agreed to drop off the truck at another location, on the day of return, the location I dropped it off said they hadn't received that notification. I had to make a 30 minute drive back to the original location. This time was an inconvenience to my schedule for the day.

Movinghelp.com does not uphold the same level of service as U-Haul and I do not think that UHaul should do business with them. I used Movinghelp.com as prompted to do so by Uhaul after my U-Box was shipped, and had a very bad experience. (multiple reschedules, lack of coordination, and failure by vendor to pick up the box and complete my move.) There is no accountability to movinghelp when something goes wrong. It's better to have customers to seek out their own Movers independently. **Besides that I am very happy with the efficiency and customer service provided by everyone at U-Haul. Thanks to David, my stuff still arrived within the week and he helped me resolve my issue. Thank you!

I got the storage n was couldn't access my storage. I was not told that u can't access 24 hrs storage unless it a outside unit. Only allowed wk hrs time. Ask to us a dolly told me 60 dep for 5 min lol

Wait times over the phone and in-store are too long and tedious. Gate systems not working, so I was unable to get in or out of the gate without the busy staff's assistance. I did not have a good visit

The censored lightening in the hallways were not set for a long enough amount of time. I would have to go out in the dark to get it to come on. Very dangerous. Other than that it is a good storage. TM

Wrongfully paid an extra month due to Uhaul's error. I called and someone was supposed to return my call, but didn't. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is b/c of Nancy at the warehouse; very helpful.

The only Issue I had was the upstairs storage really needs an elevator or a ramp. Trying to drag a 3 bedroom house upstairs is a heart attack looking to happen! Otherwise, Service was great!

We rented 3 Uboxes and the location we wanted them set was tricky. The fork lift operator put them exactly where we wanted them with no complaints. It was a friendly can do experience.

Most of this survey does not apply. I did not go to the facility. Unlike my pick-up location, NW Hwy were flaky. They stood me up twice for delivery, were disorganized, and even overcharged me.

I needed to setup a payment plan to pay off the charges occurred while I was in jail. You denied me the payment plan and sold my property that was in the van. Nice way to treat a Vet.
