The management and staff always go above and beyond the call of duty to make the best experience. I drive by several locations to use this location for that same reason.
BOBBY M.the last customer left only a quarter tank. It would be nice if UHaul would rent the truck with a full tank of gas and if you didn't return it with a full tank, you would be charged.

When i got to this location the internet was out and employees were struggling to assist connecting to hotspots etc. when i finally got the the van it was filthy and there was no inspection done. When i got to my location i noticed visible damage to the vehicle. When i dropped it off i was told they were aware of the damages and that i was fine. Just make sure to do a complete inspection if ever you use this location.

Dewey C.I used the online check-in process. When I was finally assigned my vehicle, it was nowhere on the lot. I was then assigned a different vehicle and the cargo area was full of charred wood, ashes, and nails. Had to spend the first 20 min of my rental period just cleaning it up. This location was severely understaffed, which is not surprising given the labor shortages we're seeing in the market.

U-Boxes arrived two days late after at least 5 hours on the phone / on hold / getting transferred to “the right department†to figure out where our stuff was. Uhaul straight up lied to us multiple times… at one point we were told our U-Boxes were “5 minutes away†four hours before they finally showed up… with extensive water damage and mold from being left uncovered in rainstorms even though we bought hundreds $$$ in moving supplies / protection plus professional loaders (and postponed unloaders twice). Roughly 20% of our belongings were completely destroyed including expensive and sentimental items so we contacted Uhaul for the 15th time, stayed on the line for more hours waiting for each of our photos of the damage to be individually uploaded, paid for our destroyed mattress, rug, etc to be hauled away, and we've heard NOTHING back from Uhaul for days. On top of all that, of course they were late picking up our empty U-Boxes so they could charge us an extra month of rent after the agent promised us that would not happen. I have a fiery burning hatred for Uhaul and I will for a very, very long time. I can't believe this business is legally allowed to operate. You should run in the opposite direction and never look back.

Greta W.I made the reservation based on the information that an 8foot truck WAS available for pickup at THIS location. None of the other local locations had an 8 foot truck. When I got there, there was NOT an 8 foot truck, and a 10 foot truck was swapped out at the SAME price. BUT, I was charged MORE for the safe move, not the same $10 as was told by the representative. I called twice to get it fixed and sat on hold for 5 minutes and 10 minutes respectively, and nobody ever came back to pick me up from hold. Horrible customer service. You owe me the safe move charge back please!!!!!!
Joshua R.The employee crashed our truck into another truck when pulling it out of the parking space. The truck that was originally supposed to go to us was damaged with a huge scratch, smoke, and a popped tire. The employee then tried to hand us the keys. We said no, as the tire was popped, and asked for another truck. The employee then gave us new keys and told us to pull the truck out of the same dangerous parking spot that he had crashed the first truck in. We said no, and the employee pulled our truck out. The contract was not updated for the information on the new truck prior to our departing. Then, we were charged fees for extra mile despite not being given the starting milage on the truck. Very unprofessional experience. I will not be recommending this location.

Jamel B.Entrance is tricky. Their sign indicated that customers should wait with equipment and someone would come to the truck. No one ever came. I had to go inside and ask for help. Once I asked for help inside, the attendant was friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth.
Eugene J.There are times when equipment is not available. A proactive approach informing the customer that their equipment is not available or that they may have to go to an alternate site would be extremely helpful and avoid added frustration.

Joan D.I originally set a pick up of trailer in Atlanta and a drop off in Clayton, Ga. $203.00. On pick up day, I changed to return to original location. $153.00. While driving to Clayton I realized I was correct in my original plan. I called to alter the contract to my original plan. I was told I could not alter the contract. If I returned the trailer in Clayton I would be charged $500.00. Uhaul lost $53.00 on that sale and a loyal customer.

The gentlemen that I came in contact with at the Chamblee location were are very friendly and knowledgeable. The locations I will avoid at all costs and never recommend for a friend are the clairmont Rd NE, peachtree Rd NE, and the piedmont Rd NE.

Julie Z.Absolute worst experience I've ever had moving. First, U-Haul needs to stop bouncing calls to other locations. I could not get anyone on the phone from this location for weeks. Even when my U box was not delivered and I could not track it down. The only saving grace there is the manager, Darnell. He was very great to work with and helped me locate my items and set me up so I could self-deliver. This low rating is not for the actual store, but the whole U-box operation, it's disorganization is unnecessary stress for an already stressful situation of moving cross country. I would never recommend using U-box again. Good idea on paper, absolutely horrible execution.

I was told I could not get a Van from that location and that I need to just drive around and keep trying different locations because I didn't have a reservation. They never told me I could get a reservation that same day. However I called and booked a reservation only to come back to the same location and the two gentlemen act as if they didn't want to help me. A young man with glass came and assisted me and got me the van. I will not do business with these people ever again. Terrible experience.
Kevon B.This was the most TERRIBLE move I've encountered in my life. The customer service at the local site waw very poor and the contracted movers really do not care about you or belongings. They only care about the money for the job and TIPS! Also, the customer call center can't be even more rude. It took me making so many calls just to get through to someone and then to be faced with rude service and people that had no clue about their job. Just terrible. I WILL NEVER UTILIZE UHAUL AGAIN FOR ANYTHING! Oh and the Marana AZ location should be shut down. It took 3 days to get all of my belongings bc they refused to have the boxes out and ready. It was a terrible mess and to think I spent thousands of dollars to be treated with such disrespect. All of this was a complete scam and I'm left with damaged furniture. Thanks Uhaul. Way to go!

Celeste C.Staff was very disrespectful idk who these new guys are, Nick and the other guy above Nick at the Uhual on 2951 NE Expressway chamblee ga but the customer service was trash. I've had a small unit at that location for a couple years now & wanted to upgrade to a bigger one so I reserved it online a week or so prior for June 11 & went on June 11 afternoon to obtain it. Nick prematurely moved me out of my current unit before we solidified the bigger unit. The price for the larger unit I reserved was a higher price and I even showed them the screenshot. The guy above Nick refused to honor that price I reserved it for therefore I no longer wanted it. I told him I'll stay in my current unit since y'all aren't honoring the price & he said since I'd been moved out in the system he didn't have access to move me back in & I'd have to call customer service on Monday to get my unit back. I'd asked for something in writing or some type of confirmation so I'm not out here with no unit come Monday with ALL my stuff in it looking crazy. He refused and decided he wasn't dealing with me, dismissed me & was very nasty, saying his manager would have to do it & he's off so oh well. After the 2nd time of asking him to call his manager & not ignore me he finally called & the manager walked them through how to move me back in through the system. Something so simple to rectify but instead they decided to ignore me and treat me like nothing. But I will not be ignored; especially regarding something I'm paying for monthly. And this is nothing against the manager bc I believe I met him and his customer service was above average in our dealings. But those two guys working that day…very disrespectful & very dismissive, especially the superior guy.

The turn over rate at this place is ridiculous and no one wants to spend their money where the service is horrible and the employees don't fully understand or can not fully communicate the standard rates and fees well enough to successfully secure a storage unit for a customer where it's not a big confusion when that employee is absent and some else is assisting the customer. It seems to me that no one is trained properly at the place. This was by far my worst experience ever at uhaul. That says a lot.

I had to give a phone number of a friend and sister. There is no reason for you to involve ANYONE, for any communication purpose, involving my storage unit. You contact me and me only and don't ask for ANYTHING else. I don't want anyone involved in my life, issues, or storage unit. I have a mailing address and a physical address. You don't need both. Nobody gets both. Why do you need it? Had I known that you were going to ask for all this info, I would have taken my business elsewhere. You need to change this policy or at least give a logic reason as to why you need this.
