The entire process of finding a storage unit, truck and a car tower drop-off facility was a full day of running from one facility to another without success. Finally we found a COMPETITOR storage facility and a U-HAUL truck/car tower drop-off on our own. The very worst experience we have ever encountered with u-haul. We are extreme disappointed.Roger P.
It was a nightmare trying to get my PODS delivered. UHAUL kept messing up the delivery. I've also been charged (and deducted from my account) for moves that didn't actually occur. I'll likely never see that money again or even hear from anyone after posting this review. I would 100% suggest using PODS versus U-Boxes for your move!Donna R.

My original drop-off location was on Peachtree Road. When we arrived, they told us the lot was too full and we would have to go to a different location. The lot was visibly not full. We had to drive further into the city and made us late for work. All in all we had a terrible experience with U-HAUL on both ends, both in Athens and in Atlanta.ERICA C.

The emergency brake did not work. I would like to comment on how difficult it was to rent this truck and dolly. The first location that we went to made the reservation at another location in town. When we got there, the truck was not there. He suggested we go to a third location which we found did not have any equipment. She made a call and told us someone would call to help. No one called. We then went to the fourth location mentioned above who fixed us up. Also our first choice to tow a 2009 Dodge Caravan was to use my 2019 Honda Ridgeline All wheel drive with a 5000 lb towing capacity. Your system would not allow the dolly rental for capacity reasons which I'm sure is wrong.ROY C.
Service is too slow when you get there. I realize different transactions take variable amounts of time, but the staff up front doesn't seem to care and doesn't seem to prioritize and/or ask if maybe you are just doing something quick. The woman handing storage when I was there wouldn't take other customers dealing with trucks or trailers. Staff necessary to unhitch my trailer was not around. The trailers are always great. But, I always run into these long delays when checking in and out. It's a bummer.Jonathan B.

This is my 3rd Ubox. I am ALWAYS thoroughly impressed by my belongings being exactly how I packed them. This is no way a reflection on the location.. I dont even know who is responsible, but my belongings fell out of the box when I opened the door this time. I had to spend unnecessary hours unloading, repacking, and moving my belongings into a storage unit because the box was a wreck. Shout out to the location in Addison, TX for compensating me with a month of storage. Otherwise, this was unacceptable...Yunique S.

Vehicle in terrible condition. Steering wheel constantly fought direction and frequently went left when turned right and vice-versa. Ride was terrible... felt like vehicle was going to collapse at any minute. Transmission jerked constantly and changed "automatic' gears irrationally. Equipment promised was not available - 17 ft truck "not available' even though reserved 2 weeks before - only 15 ft available. Same for number of dollies - had only one although 3 reserved. This was, by far, the Worst experience I have ever had with UHaul - and I have moved with you 5 times in the last ten years!!! Wil NOT use you again. Will try Penske and Home Depot!SHELLEY E.

This has been the most consistently convenient and supportive staff that I've experienced in the Atlanta area for the past 10 years. The manager is also always onsite and assisting his team during any complications. The entire staff has a can and will do attitude and that's very comforting and necessary when someone is trying to deal with the complications of relocating. The only minor thing wrong that my wife noticed while following the truck was the truck I rented had a right rear tail light that was very dim and was hard to see the turn signal in bright sunlight.nnFRANKLIN L.
when I got in the van and turned the key the first thing I see is the left rear tire needs air. I pull up to the air line and try to raise the pressure some but the inline tire gauge isn't working. I tell the attendant about the low pressure warning and he says don't worry about it - the sensor is bad.ROBERT R.

Your logistics absolutely suck. Horribly. Customer service is not the store and the store is not the call center. There is absolutely no continuity. Everyone points you to everyone else. I literally got so frustrated after three phone calls and no hep that I googled the location where it said my containers were and drove there myself to get answers. Ridiculous. There were a couple separate problems with my order resulting in the hitch being installed more than a month after I placed the original order. However the GM, Darnell Braziel, went out if his way to give me great service when everything was finally ready and offered a discount for my trouble. Top service and will definitely recommend. I reserved a 15 foot truck a week ahead of time at this location. When I arrived, the first truck had a check engine light. Because I was driving cross country I requested a different vehicle. The second truck had a leaking exhaust manifold, not only was this seriously dangerous to anyone driving the truck but it was unbearably loud. When I returned to the office they had rented the first truck with the check engine light to a family. The employees had a good attitude and transferred my reservation to a different u haul location and was treated extremely well by the employees at the second location. I picked up a clean low mileage truck at the second location. Please note I paid $2000 for the first rental which was not refunded to me for 4 business days this was a large inconvenience for me while Moving as I had to pay out an additional $2000 at the second locationColtrane C.

I typically don't respond to customer service surveys but my experience on 9/2/2021 was absolutely horrific. I plan of submitting a formal complaint to both the General Manager and District Manager before the end of the week. Long story short, Navarria Lewis (an associate at this location) displayed the utmost unprofessionalism as I attempted to pick up the equipment I reserved. Upon entering the facility, I was met with an unpleasant hostility (no greeting, no eye contact, no acknowledgment until after I approached the counter) and immediate rebuttal after I requested the equipment that I order (10' truck). Upon stating that I was there to pick up my equipment, Navarria replied, "It's not here." She did not explain and stated I would have to call customer service. I challenged her statement by informing her that I specifically reserved the equipment at this location because the online reservation site stated "Reservation Guaranteed." Navarria continued to refute my claim without making any eye contact (because she was on her cellphone) and provided no help, as her only statement was to contact customer service (for which she provide no contact information). This struck me as odd because there were literally four 10' trucks visible upon entering the site. However, my displeasure strictly derived from the fact that Navarria present piss poor customer service at a time where there were no other customers but for me. Darnell Braziel (General Manager) walked into the office area within 10 minutes of this back-and-forth exchange I had with Navarria, looked up my reservation online, left the office area, and personally pulled my reserved 10' truck up to the entryway. He presented no challenges and provided a higher level of customer service without even speaking to me. Navarria's lack of customer service was damning and reflects poorly on the Uhaul. I've reserved equipment from Uhaul several times before and no one has ever given me more hassle than this associate. While I don't know the complexities that exist within this role, Navarria needs to understand that she is there to perform a job and the responsibilities that come with performing that job. If I'm truly being honest, I could've easily gone to another company that day because I had neither the time nor patience to entertain childish behavior. Darnell Braziel's speedy service is what prevented me from doing so. Uhaul leadership needs to evaluate Navarria's placement without the company and potentially need to examine her historic performance and make appropriate decisions that will positively impact the business (because having her in a customer-facing role isn't doing that). I hope this review is received by personnel that can make expedited changes to this matter so that the next customer(s) don't experience what I had to go through for a simple truck rental.Zachary M.
