Karen H.I made a reservation for 7am on a Sunday, before the store opened. I arrived at 7am, but when I tried to check in on my phone, the website told me my reservation had automatically been changed and I needed to wait for the store to open at 9. I called the help line and they said there was nothing they could do to help besides getting me another truck miles away that was too large for my needs. I had to wait two hours to get my truck.

We had to use mileage that we were being charged for to come back to the location to pick up the dolly that they forgot to put on the truck! Also was charged for the dolly as if I had it both days. Very frustrating experience for me.

LOGAN D.My U-Haul was unsafe. The alignment was way off. It was so loud that I could not have a conversation. Even though the door was locked and the windows all the way up, when an 18 wheeler went by, you could feel the draft IN THE TRUCK. The location was not ready for me, the van was on fumes and would not start the first time.

Lori C.Horrible experience. They changed the pickup location at the last minute. They then told me that since I was late to pick it up that I only have it for 2 days as opposed to 3. The truck itself was a death trap. Loud, bad suspension and shaking while driving it.

Chad H.They didn't truly help us estimate the mileage we were using. They also told us if we returned the truck with 1/4 tank of gas (we did) that they would issue us a gas credit (which they did not). Based on this, we would hesitate before renting from this location again.

Joe J.The location has no pass and I was not notified until I showed up at the location. Jose was very helpful. He had reached out to another location but could get no answer. After picking up a trailer, no one wants to go looking for blankets to protect the furniture. Unfortunately, the owners are discouraging their employees to be “betterâ€. I would appreciate seeing a change. Lamar, was great-he hooked and un hooked the trailer. He is a very pleasant man.

Quentavius A.They didn't have everything that was supposed to be on my reservation (ie - an appliance dolly) and I was supposed to have 2 dozen blankets but only ended up with 6 total. Also, the pics for verification of the condition of the truck were obviously old and I had to dispute and submit new ones for every side of the truck. On the plus side, they found a set of keys that had dropped out of my pocket and returned them to me before I left the property. And they didn't charge me for failing to fold the blankets (though no one had said they had to be returned folded).
David W.The truck was due back at 1 pm on 3/19/23, so my spouse and I showed up at 12:50 pm. On arrival, I followed the sign stating to pull the truck in the receiving bay and wait for an associate to come out to you. After 5 minutes, no one came out. I hopped out the truck and saw what seemed to be the only employee present, prepping a truck for rental, who was a very nice employee. I approached him and he asked if I was dropping off equipment, told him yes and was told to leave the keys in the truck and he'll take care of the rest. After following the request, I went to head inside the building, the same employee said he'll truly take care of everything and that we could go ahead and leave, so I headed to our personal vehicle, waited for a few minutes then we did leave. About an hour later on the drop off ticket, I noticed the drop off time saying 1:16 pm. Which was simply not true because we left the u haul at 1:05; forcing me to incur an additional day charge. I have documentation again to prove when the truck was returned on the premises with the keys inside, which was still prior to the due time. Overall I am not satisfied with u haul and will not be renting another vehicle from the company. For our first experience with this company, we are both shocked to see the lack of respect and schedule practices by these locations in two separate parts of the state of Georgia.

kim W.They didn't deliver on Thursday 3/2 as scheduled. I hired movers to unload the box had to cancel. I had the most difficult time getting it rescheduled and finding someone to unpack the box since they didn't deliver it until Friday, I was billed for add additional month of storage, even though it was their issue they moved the delivery out one day. I have use this service several times and have referred people to use the service. I will never refer anyone to the service and will tell everyone how horrible it is. I can't believe you charge me for a whole additional month of storage because you delayed my delivery by one

He was very pleasant with me and went out of his way to help me with my needs. Also, the weekend "hook up hitches to vehicles guy " was extremely nice and helped me unload some of my items into the storage unit. They showed exemplary service throughout my time at Uhaul. George H. | Overall ExperienceStaff was very disrespectful idk who these new guys are, Nick and the other guy above Nick at the Uhual on 2951 NE Expressway chamblee ga but the customer service was trash. I've had a small unit at that location for a couple years now & wanted to upgrade to a bigger one so I reserved it online a week or so prior for June 11 & went on June 11 afternoon to obtain it. Nick prematurely moved me out of my current unit before we solidified the bigger unit. The price for the larger unit I reserved was a higher price and I even showed them the screenshot. The guy above Nick refused to honor that price I reserved it for therefore I no longer wanted it. I told him I'll stay in my current unit since y'all aren't honoring the price & he said since I'd been moved out in the system he didn't have access to move me back in & I'd have to call customer service on Monday to get my unit back. I'd asked for something in writing or some type of confirmation so I'm not out here with no unit come Monday with ALL my stuff in it looking crazy. He refused and decided he wasn't dealing with me, dismissed me & was very nasty, saying his manager would have to do it & he's off so oh well. After the 2nd time of asking him to call his manager & not ignore me he finally called & the manager walked them through how to move me back in through the system. Something so simple to rectify but instead they decided to ignore me and treat me like nothing. But I will not be ignored; especially regarding something I'm paying for monthly. And this is nothing against the manager bc I believe I met him and his customer service was above average in our dealings. But those two guys working that day…very disrespectful & very dismissive, especially the superior guy.

The turn over rate at this place is ridiculous and no one wants to spend their money where the service is horrible and the employees don't fully understand or can not fully communicate the standard rates and fees well enough to successfully secure a storage unit for a customer where it's not a big confusion when that employee is absent and some else is assisting the customer. It seems to me that no one is trained properly at the place. This was by far my worst experience ever at uhaul. That says a lot.

The manager is also always onsite and assisting his team during any complications. I had to give a phone number of a friend and sister. There is no reason for you to involve ANYONE, for any communication purpose, involving my storage unit. You contact me and me only and don't ask for ANYTHING else. I don't want anyone involved in my life, issues, or storage unit. I have a mailing address and a physical address. You don't need both. Nobody gets both. Why do you need it? Had I known that you were going to ask for all this info, I would have taken my business elsewhere. You need to change this policy or at least give a logic reason as to why you need this.
