Horrible experience, Box was late, when it did finally arrive in Florida I was told they could not deliver it to my driveway. I had to drive up to St. Augustine myself and empty it two trips. When I arrived to empty my box I found that a forklift blade had gone threw the Uhaul box and damaged my antique desk. And just to top it off, Uhaul is still charging me for that box , even though I emptied out a month ago.Besides that everything was peachy keen.Imre S.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The girl that checked me in, great. The guy that checked me out, also great. The only problem I had was the vehicle carrier trailer itself. It is very narrow in comparison to how wide vehicles are. I was picking up a 1982 Blazer and upon registration on line, it said the trailer would transport that vehicle. There were not over sized tires, 30 inch on factory15 inch rims. The truck just squeezed between the wheel wells. One of the tires actually blew coming off the trailer. In the future, I would recommend uhaul to anyone but if some one was transporting a vehicle, I would stress that the width of the trailers are not adequate and they would be better off elsewhere that rents an actual 7 foot wide trailer.ROBERT F.

The guaranteed delivery date was a joke. My container arrived 4 days later than expected. I moved and booked my life around the "guaranteed" delivery date, and U-Haul massively underperformed and disappointed me. I had to sleep on the floor without my bed and none of my belongings because the container was late. The representatives I spoke with were not helpful, friendly, or understanding of my situation. They could not even get a hold of the driver of the container for over 48 hours. It was one of the most unprofessional and disappointing services I have ever had. Had I known the level of unprofessionalism, delay and overall nightmare that U Haul provided, I would have 100% gone with POD. Also- the $50 dollars a day for being late is laughable. After my container was finally delivered, a marketing person reached out for some financial compensation to help ease how terrible the experience had been. That was nice, but I wish someone had called earlier to listen to my concerns and offer me help then. My biggest take away is that YOU SHOULD NOT GUARANTEE A DATE IF YOU CANNOT DELIVER. The trailer I was assigned had some lights that were out but it was the only one available. Also my card was charged 3 separate times. Once for $64.39 and twice for $32.20. The office manager messed up my UBox order on this past Saturday 4-17-21. It caused me and my packers time before payment could be received. I have a problem with this facilities rules of no receipt of payments of monies paid in advance and the contract is cancelled 2 weeks before the end of the month. It's like being robbed having to pay for services not rendered. It upset me greatly. I am going to another Uhaul in another state and they would not even give me my money to credit them. Your computer systems at this location really need fixed. The employees can only work as well as what the system would allow. U-Haul's rental system crashed and was causing distress for everyone waiting to rent and return equipment. I can say that the employees handled the situation professionally and made everyone at ease as the system slowly tried to work. As I was returning my equipment, a young man took my rental agreement and led me outside and let me unhook and with a smile and a handshake took care of my situation. 03/30/2021 Robin Collier Jr Was extremely rude, i actually posted a google review but its under my husbands account (accident) Robert Renaud. He actually showed me his name tag and told me to make sure i get his FULL name for the bad review i said i would write. I waited in line for a VERY long time even though my equipment was already paid in full. The store was very busy and yes he did stop to help me while his current customer had to do something (i'm not sure what) but after taking my information he just began talking over me to the people behind me. this made me very upset, why talk over me when he could have just asked me to give him a moment while he helped the previous guest and he'd get right back with me? when i tried expressing that he got very rude and scoffed at me and i got even more upset! he argued back and forth with me and and even laughed at my frustration! he was HORRIBLE !!!!!! so then his co worker (blonde dreads) starts laughing as well and they make a whole thing of it. i spent about $900 in there and the customer service i received was atrocious!!!!! i ended up leaving in tears and i will NEVER return. You all storage located on Normandy boulevard was a very well location I was in a situation and U-Haul came through for me every time we employers were very helpful with everything that I needed for the time that I needed the truck and storageCATRINA M.
Make it a more clear about how to drive in and check out. There's a few areas we thought were the office but after getting out of the car and inspecting the area, it wasn't right. We weren't sure where customer parking was compared to the uhaul or employee parking. Also the check out process wasn't clear. I sat and waited for a while before I finally parked the car and went in to try to return. When I spoke with the woman at the front office she said the guys outside would take my keys and check me out. Unfortunately there was no one there so she called someone to come assist me. I would've preferred if there was some sort of sign outside or even if I was told before I took the truck, what happens when I return it, that would have been helpful. I've only ever done an online return which was literally step by step so it was a lot easier and there was always signs for where to park.Megan L.

Original drop off location wasn't setup for drop off.. so I was in instructed to bring back to original location which was ok till they told me it was a one way .. retold to bring to different location then, told by that location that they can't take it. I called this location for two days because your 1651 Edgewood Ave W, Jacksonville, FL 32208 location elevator was broken and my rental unit was upstairs and they would not help in no way to get me another unit. I called the above location where I was to drop off the vehicle and trailer on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 and Mike at Normandy advise that he didn't have any units available but that it was the end of the month and one could come available he took my number and called me later to tell me he had a 10x10x10 I tried to call back that location several times was on hold over 3hrs; so I drove to this location. On my arrive no one was in the building and two women was at the front desk. One on her personal phone and the other on the business computer. I stated to the one on her personal phone is this why you guys aren't answering the phone. I proceeded to tell the young lady on her personal phone that Mike stated he had a unit for me and Beth on the computer stated that Mike had left paperwork in my name. Beth was amazing she called 4 customer to see if they still wanted their reservation for a 10x20 there was no go and she put me in the system for the 10x10. As Beth processed the reservation for my 10x10 I had told her about getting a dirty stinky truck from Brandt Pike Dayton Ohio location. Beth stated I could talk with her supervisor Kaitlyn about it my experience. Beth introduce me to Kaitlyn and she was working on a personal vehicle smoking a cigarette. I took several step back and told her about my experience this lady continue to work on the personal vehicle as I told her about my experience she didn't pay me any attention she was only focused on getting this car working. I don't understand why people apply for work but don't. I have to say for the two three locations that I want to I had a horrible experience with but I do want to commend Mike and Beth for doing their job and appreciating what U-Haul has offered them.Juanita J.
