Gas was not on 1/4th. Lady said she would give me credit on it but contract was never shown to show any changes. Did not check odometer, or anything (such as gas) and only gave me keys and took a picture in front of rental van. Also, miles were wrong as well. Contract said 1111.0 and odometer showed something else. Again, nothing was verified. I will NOT be using this location again. The previous location used was extremely professional and checked that the contract matched the vehicle data. This location did not.CHRISTINA H.

Although it was not the manager's fault I am disappointed in uhaul. We reserved a 10 foot and had to take a 20 foot from a different town. We spent a lot more money on gas and she could not give us a discount because of the gas expense.JAMES P.

Aim for excellence by ensuring trucks (1) ARE clean & sanitized after other customers, (2) dolly is secured when customer did not use (3) turn off radio (4) although everything is manual, please explain how to use buttons for air, wipers, & radio for those of us who are challenged. The drop off process was terrible. Could not drop off off without an extra charge. Tried to call service center and I was on hold for 20 minutes then someone transferred me to another and hold Q that was another 10 minutes and then I got a bill for $20 in the meantime. I was told after the truck was dropped off with the same amount of gas we started with which was half a tank that it was our responsibility to report the mileage and where the gas was on the gauge.. because we didn't do that we were charged extra to fill up the tank a gas which is totally wrong. I've been to other locations and they get the mileage and the gas tank reading and when I brought it back from the other location they verified it. I will definitely tell everyone two stay away from that location when at all possibleJohn D.
I was scheduled to pick up my truck at 4344 S. Padre Island Dr. Corpus Chisti TX, but when I got there was told that the vehicle was at another location 1201 N. Chaparral about 10 minutes away. I asked if truck could be brought to the original location and was told no! While on my way to 2nd location, finally got a call that it was there not where I had gone to.Jorge J.
Have the equipment that was reserved at the center it was reserved for. Maybe if it is reserved and someone choses to keep it longer impacting the next person, there should be a penalty and the inconvenienced customer gets a discount. The staff was great!Daelin M.

Called in a reservation for an appliance dolly, it took the clerk half an hour to figure it was an appliance dolly not a towing dolly. Then, when I tried to pay their card reader wasn't working but the clerk managed to charge me, 1 hr later finally I was heading out. Came back next day to return it and the clerk took her time to finally take care of my return went through it and she said it was returned. Then on Tuesday some called me asking for me to return it! Explained to the caller I have returned it the next day on Sunday before noon. She was shocked with my answer and almost wanted for me to swear by God I did. As a cherry on top today, I get an email from uhaul collections because they said I didn't pay! Seriously? I'm a doctor, I'm not going to runaway for less than 11 dollars! The location was fine but the vehicle was not cleaned and or DISINFECTED ESPECIALLY DUE TO COVID PRECAUTIONS; we were made to wear a mask inside the building but the vehicle was not cleaned or maintained? Makes no sense. There was a dingy smell and white substance in the vents and on the electric window buttons, the tire pressure light was on and it also was in need of an oil change , when we picked it up.Sylvester T.

The truck air conditioning went out and I drove for 6 hours without cold air. I called uhaul early in the drive and was told it would be â€œmultiple hoursâ€ so I kept going. An hour before I was going to stop I called the uhaul roadside assistance and it still took 6 hours until it was repaired. I had to stay awake late (11 pm) in order to wait for the repairman to finish before getting up early the next day and driving another 12 hours.Brian D.

I rented this 6Ã-12 trailer to transport a small Bobcat loader. Unfortunately the trailer opening did NOT accommodate my 5.5 ft wide needs. I was also required to purchase an adapter for the trailer lights. But once I realized your trailer wouldn't work for me, I had to rent a different trailer for twice the price. But hallelujah, it didn't need an adapter. The money I spent at Uhaul was a 100% waste because you advertised a 6Ã-12 trailer with ramp. And your owner/agent could not have cared less. Way to go Samantha! You just got another F in customer service.MATTHEW H.

To begin with the area is not well marked to know where to access the locker. Then it said street access on the website but its up a flight of stairs . Sooo to get to my locker its up a flight if stairs take 5 steps go down 2 steps take 2 steps go up 2 steps so theres no way to get a cart to my storage locker!!
