Firstly there was an issue we accidentally locked the keys in the truck yet selected the extra for insurance in case and was told it wasn't covered. Called the roadside assistance and told them truck had to be back at 7am he told me he'd extend it til 9am for when they open. Roadside assistance took forever to show up. So the truck was a bit late. When my boyfriend dropped off the truck he asked the employee if he can call him a ride his phone died in the cold. The employee was rude and wouldn't call for a cab when my boyfriends phone froze. Also booked a 5x10x9 online and showed the door open wide not narrow we were very pissed that we were given the wrong unit.

Why are you renting out trucks on Empty? It's not my responsibility to go out in 20 below zero weather and put $40 worth of fuel in your truck it's not a question of the money it's a question that it's an inconvenience. I only drove 6 km but I put gas in because somebody else didn't have to. This is ridiculous

Could use newer trucks, steering on this old one feels off. Also would've preferred a one-way trip since bringing back truck is a hassle, I already had that reserved for a week but then 2 days before I'm told only option is to drive truck back. I appreciate the cheaper rates for round trip though.

When I got into the van to leave, there was a warning that one of the tires was low on air. Not a huge deal, but it did throw our moving time that we had other things book, behind schedule. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I'm not upset, just something that should have been checked prior to renting it to me.

Perhaps take a moment with the customer to show them the basic functions of the vehicle before they leave (I.e.: deploying the handbrake, changing gears, adjusting the vehicle's specific functionalities, briefly explaining the conversion between imperial and metric for the purpose of understanding the dashboard cluster and gassing up). Otherwise, the experience was great and the price was fair! Gracias.

Wipers old and ineffective on a snowy day

Gas was lesser than quoted at the counter. I called immediately and they told me to update a picture using the link on sms. I did it and there was an error, I explained the same while return and he told he will take care. I filled 3 liters of gas and drove exactly 10kms. I am charged for another 8 liters of gas, this is day light robbery. If only I had the time to sue, I will surely get justice

There were several problems with our recent u-haul rental. First, they gave us keys to a truck that wasn't on the lot. Then they gave us a different set of keys and changed our paperwork by hand. I explained that it's impossible to fill a truck to 5/8 of a tank but they showed me on the page how much to fill. The only instructions received were where to drop the truck on return. When we got in the truck, the gas was only at half a tank, not 5/8, so I took a picture of that. Then we get a text message as us to check the vehicle before leaving but we had already left, no one had explained that was part of the process. When we got to our destination, we tried to complete the vehicle check but the link had expired so we couldn't. Then we get another text saying we have to complete another link at drop off or risk getting billed another $20! This was also never explained. Lastly, we go to fill up prior to return and I'm only planning on filling to the half tank I got it at so using the chart, it looks like I have to put 37 litres. So I put the machine to stop at $40. When it stops, the litres for the price was only 29 litres. I assumed I would have to put more but when I checked the gas gauge, it was at 5/8. If I had put the 37 litres their chart had explained was needed, the van would have been over 3/4 and I only got it at 1/2. Again, the system should be, you take it full and you bring it back full as their chart doesn't work!!!! All around, not a good experience. Improper instructions, no way to return the truck with proper gas filled and threats of additional charges if you don't complete their online app (which wasn't necessary as we weren't dropping off after hours, but again this wasn't explained). But the truck was as expected.

The door on the van makes lots of air noise. Never will I rent a van with a gas tank not full. I filled it just like I saw when I got it. They said no the paper shows the level. I explained then the lady whose voice tells you your going to lose this discussion says you should do a walk around, you should have told us the paper does not match the trucks fuel gage. I filled it to what I got it!!!. I waited when I returned and was waiting for the final bill and was told to go home and will send it. I had to go back with two five litre gas cans so I would not be charged. Customer service is not happening here.

Was told that I had to return my truck back to Milton. When in my email summary order it said Brampton. Then called Milton location and was told that it was agreed upon and someone confirmed with me over the phone. No such thing happened. I was told I could leave the truck there in Brampton but I would bet double charged?! Double charged for what? For someone to drive the truck back 12 km to Milton

All staff were very helpful. Was supposed to pick up my trailer at the Mississauga Royal Windsor location but the previous customer was late. Not the fault of U-Haul but the young lady at the Mississauga location I believe her name is Courtney went above and beyond to help me secure a trailer at the end of the day when closing time was looming. Had storage rate wrong and hopefully it will be corrected by January. Spelled my address wrong but wasn't too concerned about fixing it. Also spelled name of other contact wrong and didn't correct that either. Was very disappointed I have to use my credit card for the storage rental instead of my debit card. I had my banking info ready. The spot where I currently have a uhaul storage spot in Sarnia had no problem with taking the money monthly out of my bank account. Your facility said I couldn't do it unless I had a visa/ debit card which I don't. Why are the payment options different from 1 uhaul to the next? This is very inconvenient.

Location provided excellent customer service during check-in. Vehicle needed a maintenance checkup. Driver side windshield wiper was ineffective during snow and rain fall, leaving streaks across the windshield on the driver side. The passenger side wiper was in working order. Tires needed to be changed, extreme difficulty gaining traction during light snow fall. Raised concerned for overall safety and reliability of the vehicle. Ultimately, vehicles should be equipped to handle Canadian winters, including snowy conditions. Better all season tires or winter tires should have been placed onto vehicle.

Rented 2 trucks a 26 footer for 3 days and when I realized it wasn't enough I booked a 15 footer on line the day before unfortunately the day of I got a call telling me that there were no 15 foot vans available only 10 foot vans, which meant that I had to make 2 trips instead of one and paying for twice the mileage as well as gas. Other than that the staff were very nice and helpful

I am giving average star because on the day of my moving the elevator broke and was stunned to find out that the entire storage had only one elevator. It wasn't fixed entire day. I had to manually move all the boxes and furniture from 2nd floor to ground floor and then into the truck. It was a nightmare for me and my family.

I wasn't planning to rent the storage pass the 28th. On the 29th I phoned them after receiving a late penalty email. The person on the phone said I still owed them money for the two lockers I rented I was told it was my fault I didn't tell them. At the end of the day I feel scammed because I wasn't protected enough not even with a warning not even a nText 491 dollars gone just like that

Extremely clean. Facility looks brand new. Rented a van and small storage room. 1st month free rent! Free door lock! Staff was very friendly and helpful (even when I set off the alarm). Don't forget to enter alarm code when entering and exiting storage area! You can back up your van to the loading dock and they have dolly carts to use. They give you a map so you don't get lost...lol Load your junk and roll it over to your room. Boom...done!

Everything was excellent. A straight and forward moving experience. Staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated clearly - very appreciative for their customer service. I also really appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities. This shows pride in the product and reputable dependancy on the UHAUL brand. There was only one small hiccup, where the lock that was supposed to be in my unit was missing, and had to wait for another one to be brought to me, as I could not leave my items unattended.

Not informed on entry procedures. Did not know that you have to sign in on outside and also inside or alarm goes off when opening storage lockers. Mattress carts are not wide enough (10 inches) most mattresses today are 14 to 16 inches . Very impress on cleanness of storage lockers and customer area.

Very fast and convenient move in process. Facility is very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend U-Haul in Milton. Staff is great. I had a pleasure of dealing with different employees each time and each time the service was excellent.

Vanessa and Zack went above and beyond our expectations for Uhaul service. They were both, patient, friendly and accommodating. We had to unload our uboxes into a storage unit and all of the staff we encountered along the way were very helpful as well. Our experience with Uhaul Milton was a welcome change to the poor customer service and experience we had to deal with from the se marine drive location in Vancouver. Our experience with Uhaul Milton Lawson Rd location really restored our faith in Uhaul and we look forward to using your services again when we move out of our unit in the bee year.

only the return of the truck procedure was a bit difficult. When we returned the man at the return area just told us to leave the truck and go. When i went online i found out we had to take photos and enter info so we had to go back. Storage area was great.

This is a very big U-Haul office. I had a very wonderful experience. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. They go the extra mile to help customers. The manager Vanessa is very nice.

Everything about the truck rental and subsequent unit move-in was excellent. The facility is great. The process checking in/out at the front desk was a bit slow... maybe due to long weekend.
