Staff was very unprofessional. I went to another location and staff were unprofessional as well. Customers are spending hard earned money and we deserve respect. We deserve the staffs full attention while we are at the counter. Not to wait on them to get off cell phones and talking to each other that is not job related or to other customers. If something goes wrong at one location someone should either get in contact with another to make sure a customer gets their rental in the proper amount of time. I was late to my event on account of an issue at the store. When I asked what could be done about it, it was put solely on me to call around.Alicia S.

Dollies reserved online were not available and were removed from the reservation without notice. The truck in the online check-in was NOT the truck they gave me. The manager had to print out new paperwork. This is the second one-way rental I have done from Indianapolis in the last 2 months. I had a guaranteed reservation and the only trailer they had was damaged. I was given the option to take a different trailer but then was told I could not since I would be going one way out of town. I waited until they could get a repair man in to fix the damaged trailer.MARIE F.

I think the store is fine but I have dellt with someone that is not very helpful. First directs me to the wrong equipment ( unit number on paperwork different than unit directed to), this happened twice. One time unit full of pads and a dog bed, 2nd time had a utility dolly in the back. No help on hookup. No light check, no checking anything is even hooked up right. This location is convenient and I still have at least one trip to make. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm?John F.

Neither the truck cab or box was clean at all. Trash and food wrappers in the cab, and a little bit of everything in the box. That included several used latex gloves. Thought they had to be returned clean. Guess not although we took the time to clean it.Michael L.

I asked for a van for 4 hours I got a pickup overnight. It stated it had a 1/4 of a tank of gas but it was 1/8 of a tank of gas. When we returned the pickup I thought he said he was sending an email stating the return and charges. As of yet this is the only email I've received.Laura W.

The person who helped me at the counter was texting on his phone while I stood there for about five minutes and when he spoke I couldn't even understand him because he mumbled. My experience at the dealership was great. Everyone was wonderful. However the trailer had some kind of a short and kept blowing fuses for the tail lights. After getting to know a state police officer over the course of an hour, waiting, and never speaking to a u-haul representative, I had to change out 4 fuses just to limp home. I seriously thought about leaving your trailer at a dealership in Florida but dealt with the issues and fro I it back to Indy. Not a good experience at all.RICKEY D.

I signed up for touch free pickup. The truck was completely blocked in by other trucks. The owner had no knowledge of my online order. I had to wait in line then start my order from scratch, wasting my time on moving day.RANDOLPH R.
The pick up experience was great! Dropping off was confusing. I was told that the office would check in the trailer but I had to call in the 1-800 number to have them it confirmed and a receipt made about 36 hours later. I tried calling the office about 10 times but call kept clicking off.James W.

The moving teams I hired were fantastic but they both reported significant problems with the U-Haul facility. T.A.B. Relocators on 8/13/21 arrived at the facility only to be informed that the correct size trailer wasn't available, so the movers had to drive all the way down to Southport to pick up the right size, then back up to the north side to get the boxes before finally coming to my apartment. Mammoth Movers on 8/17/21 arrived at the facility to find no staff available to help them so they had to locate my boxes themselves. Both of these resulted in significant delays and were very unprofessional.Taylor P.

The truck I received was not only dirty in the cab but the whole cargo area was covered in crap and gross. I had to spend so much time sweeping out the truck.Patrick M.
Horrible service - was told that the u haul I reserved two months prior was not there and that I was â€œout of luck and had to call the 1-800 numberâ€ rather than do any work themselves. They ended up finding a u haul an hour away and did not have the adequate equipment for me to purchase so I had to go to Advanced Auto Parts to get the parts needed. The guy that helped me check out was helpful but took 20 minutes to figure it out. The $50 they took off did not come near to the troubles I endured.Anna M.

This location never finalizes the transaction with the customer. When I dropped the uhaul off I asked the rep to check the mileage so we could finalize. He said he would check and send me an email. I have not received any email. There was a $40+ hold on my credit card and I better not be charged that because we only drove 8 miles. Poor customer service at this location.OMAIMA M.

The people working at this location are extremely friendly and responsive! In stark contrast, I rented the 26' truck to move from my apartment to house and the cab of the truck was disgusting. Crumbs everywhere. Used paper napkins stashed in the dashboard. Drink holders with disgusting grime from spilled food and beverages. There is no way the cab has ever been cleaned or "sanitized for COVID 19 concerns." I will never recommend U-Haul for friends or family members from this experience.BRYCE B.

Agent was not busy at all but acted like he was doing us a favor to return the trailer. I honestly thought he was disabled because he was sitting low in a chair and every movement seemed painful. I was quite surprised when he actually stood up without assistance. There was a truck parked in the middle of the path to the parking area which I had to maneuver around. Agent said he didn't have the key to the truck, but the engine was running. I informed him of this and he just left it parked where it was with the engine running. Trailer was returned Friday Aug. 6 but was not logged in until the next day after 1 pm.David R.
