The truck we got was on empty.The truck should have been half full per your agreement with other customers.We spent $60.00 to fill the truck up and all we got back was $16.00 not right.Check in for return was a joke.Felt like a criminal as they were asking questions.I also told them to check the truck.Felt like it was dropping a transmission while driving.Asking for a full refund what we paid plus $60.00 for a tank of free gas you got from us.I want to hear from the CEO of U haul and the owner of this location.Thank you.

The AC blower diverter on the 10' panel truck was not working. Thus on a 93 degree day with excess humidity the AC would only vent to the windshield area. Otherwize the truck and experience at the location were perfectly fine.

After spending an hour trying to release the ratcheting straps...on arrival, i asked for help with them. Was informed by Antonio it would cost $20 to assist. Before payment, a female employee pulled me aside and went to the transport and said to just lossen the straps you don't need to pay for this. She was unablr too release them as well. Antonio came out and harshly told her to get away from the transport...he hasn't paid yet. After paying, Antonio attempted to release the straps....and I confirmed with him that they were not working correctly. He agreed. Asked if it was uhaul company policy to charge customers for assistance with faulty equipment. He simply said I have to charge toy $20. He needed to use a screw driver to release the straps. I began to pull the ramps out...when Anontio aggressively yelled at me to get away from the vehicle while he was working...which i complied with. After the straps were released, I drove the vehicle off the tow vehicle. A I was unhitching the trailer...he aggressively told me I needed to move the trailer. At that point I had had with an employee speaking to in such a demeaning way. Regrettably I said, "I paid you $21 gaddamn dollars yiu can move the trailer." He replied with "I'm not your boy!" This racist comment came out of no where. I never referred to him as Boy ever. I replied I wasn't a racist and I would just move the trailer. He informed me "no you wont". I asked for his name as he informed I would never be allowed to rent from uhaul again. My wife and I got out of our vehicles and left.

We rented our 26 ft Super Mover in Indianapolis for our move to Florida. This was a fairly new truck with under 27K on the odometer. The truck itself did fine however, there was no air conditioning. We left our home around 8 am and when we turned on the A/C a couple of hours later when it started to warm up it only blew out warm air. Of course no one at the U-Haul centers on either end wanted to help us with the issue. Thus was obviously not a good experience traveling to Florida

I was charged for 6 blankets, only received one. Upon my return of the trailer in Tacoma, WA, I was charged a FOURTY DOLLAR missing item fee for not returning 6 blankets. I ONLY HAD ONE TO GIVE BACK, NEVER RECEIVED THE FIVE OTHERS.

There was a system wide uhaul outage and employees were turning people away just said it could be 30 mins or 5 hours but we cant rent you anything. I called the 800 number was told there was a back up system the rep on the line called the store and told the employees about it. They very hesitantly logged in and rented me the trailer but they turned everyone else away. This was wrong, rude, showed laziness as they were not willing to do the extra work to keep business running. Communication was poor, they were slow, it was bad.

The man that helped me was rude. He had attitude, poor eye contact, rushed me because he had to “pick his kids up”, silent treatment when my truck wiring didn’t work. Told me to go ahead if I’m using it during the day—lights wouldn’t matter….?

I received an email that I had been switched to a virtual pick up. I tried for 30 minutes on the app to complete the check in. The app kicked me off several times and sent me to the online site. I had to repeatedly put in my information. I was finally able to proceed to end up with “your reservation is complete.” I then went inside. The virtual pickup does not work at this location. I could’ve saved time and frustration. Inside service was good.

Sign indicates where to bring truck and wait for attendant but no one comes after 30 minutes. Go in and have to stand in line for another 10 minutes for the one employee to be free to process return. Very nice person but poorly staffed and it should be clear that no one is EVER going to come out. You MUST go inside regardless of signage instruction. And even the employees can't use the fucked up uhaul app that locks up and doesn't work.

The location has a terrific selection but parking is a real pain. The 6014 Michigan road location needs its parking situation reassessed. It’s always hard to find a spot, and this time was one if the worst.

Arrived at 7am for a 7am pickup. Long line and received my rental at 7:25am. I was still responsible for having the rental returned 5 hours from SCHEDULED time. That isn’t right. Attendant was getting people checked in and also talking to, apparently, another UHaul employee at a different location on speaker phone the entire time, as if the customers were second priority. Didn’t help that the person on the phone was using all sorts of profanity for everyone to hear, but the attendant didn’t care at all. If I had my children with me, we would have walked out and not picked up our rental. Poor situational awareness and customer care. My last time renting from UHaul.

I had my rental set for Saturday at 3 they called me 1 or some after wanting me to get my rental sooner. So I had to pay over the phone as I was driving 2 hrs! I was told I'd get a "discount" . The truck is advertised as 19.95. By the time I got my recipt I paid 109 and change. HOW? The day on the phone she said my charges would be 59.99 ok. I got it. And if I went over milea they would "discount me again bc it only allowed her to give me 10$ off in the first place. Wel, low and be hold I was charged more money the next day equaling almost 110$. How the hell does a 19.95 rental turns into 110.00!??

Gigi G is the worst customer service person. Was rude, charged me more than initial reservation, added an extra hour. Reservation was set for 6:30, didn’t get U-Haul until 6:40-6:45. Had it until 10:30 and she modified it until 11:30 pm. Worst experience I’ve ever had

The rear brakes are warped beyond belief, the rotors are warped. I believe it’s probably because some drove with the parking brake on. This vehicle is not safe to drive in its current condition.

When the van that I had reserved in advance was not available at the time of my pickup, they quickly changed my rental to the 10Ft truck which rents for the same daily rate but gave me the mileage rate for the van and not the truck! Thank you!!

As a wedding florist who regularly rents cargo vans, I encountered a significant issue with a van I rented earlier this month. The van had noticeable brake or rotor issues, causing the entire vehicle to shake when I attempted to stop. This problem was also evident to two other individuals who rode with me. Upon returning the van, I reported the issue. To my dismay, when I rented a cargo van this past weekend, I was given the same van with the unresolved issue. I promptly returned to the rental center to express my concern and was met by a dismissive manager. Despite my clear explanation of the problem, he implied that it was all in my head and offered me a 10ft box truck as an alternative, claiming they had no other vans available, despite several being visible out front. This was an unacceptable solution as a box truck would not suffice for delivering fresh flowers that require a cool environment. The manager did not take the time to address my concerns or explore other options, such as swapping the van for one of the many others available. After 8 years of renting cargo vans and investing thousands of dollars at this location, I am deeply disappointed by this experience and have decided not to return.

This Drop Off location was wonderful! The Helper was really sweet and even though it was raining badly, he was very kind to help with the drop off and unloading of the trailer. This is a great U-Haul location!

This was a janky experience to say the least. Moving from Texas to come home to randomly poor attitudes, broken system, no access DURING access hours, was the worst part of my moving journey. Key card never worked always had to wait until store was open to get to my storage. If you were 2 days late they charge a 15.00 late fee another 15.00 if your 2 weeks late. Storage unit area had birds in there my stuff had bird feces on it.

The staff at the facility were so helpful. There was a problem with my access card and staff members Stony and Jesus were always available to open the storage room and Stony put in great effort to investigate the problem by reaching out to his boss and then the supervisor above his boss too! So a huge shout out to the staff for being helpful. Monet was the agent who helped us secure the storage room and she was friendly and quick to get the room assigned so we could start moving in. The hallways are very well lit and there was even a cart we could use to move things into our storage unit. However the light in the storage room we rented was burnt out.
