PAUL P.Well. There was an issue that took me forever to get the trailer. There was a balayage owed for me that ended up not being owed. It would be nice for a follow up so that one doesn't have to wait for forever to get there trailer.

JAHRET S.There isn't enough space to type how truly fucked up this whole thing was. 1. I made a reservation nearly a week in advance. Was forced to pay $200 more for a second car transport. 2. Was called the day before my pick up, moved to a new pick up location nearly 45 minute out of my way. 3. Was called the am of my pick up and told no car transports. When I asked why I made a reservation, the lady on the phone got shitty, told me a “reservation doesn't mean you get the equipment†when I asked if Uhaul had their own dictionary, she raised her voice and told me to “read your uhaul contract†I quipped back, and said that since I was getting screwed on this deal, she doesn't get to yell at me, I as the customer that did NOTHING wrong reserved that right. She then hung up on me. I drove to a uhaul close to my home desperate for some help. He said and I quote “they are a piece of work†referring to uhaul “customer service†He set me up with a new reservation at uhaul # 4. I then called the king street store. The lady I spoke with assured me that he 20ft truck and 2 car transports were intact ready for pick up. Drove down. Swiped my card, so your man could tell me “no car transports†and he had no idea why she told me that. By this point I canceled the 4th dealer location. What is shocking is how much your staff shares uhaul a don't give a shit attitude. “Do you want the truck or not†Want me to go on? Ya. I didn't think so. But ya...they're is more

Judith A.Girl up front is asleep and mumbly, and made it seem like I was bothering her. The guy that was supposed to help with the trailer got into a shouting match with us and the only decent thing about it was the man that stepped up and helped out after it almost went to shit. This is not really the first time they've been like this with me at this location.

TAEVIN M.One of the trucks I had smelled terribly of cigarette smoke with bad air freshener over it. One of the trucks had to have the ignition jimmied a lot before the key would turn. When I arrived back at exactly 7 even though there were still employees there they said I should do the online check-in, but the one guy, who was trying to be helpful, had already put my key through the slot. I did not find the process to be very easy online, but then that complicated things even more because I couldn't fill the right things in.

(It was an early am check-in so maybe no coffee?) but the owner should know (I would want to) if an employee is not representing his business in a favorable way and maybe do some face-of-business training.

Michael M. | Overall ExperienceThis is the only place that I know of that charges twice as much than anyone else to store items in a flood plain, Of course there is no grace period for paying the rent, even if you can't get to the storage area due to a flood. Just out of curiosity, if the storage area were flooded and stayed flooded for 6 months straight, would you still charge rent for those six months during which our items were under water? I will not be back and neither will anyone that I speak with.
Jesse Z. | Overall ExperienceThere need to be trash cans more centrally located within the Uhaul storage area itself, the fact that we had to walk all the way around the entire building to get to the dumpster was extremely time consuming and ill-efficient. Clearly others feel the same way because there was constantly trash strewn through out the corridors. There is always a super long line in the customer service area and oftentimes associates who are unwilling and uninterested in helping whatsoever. On several occasions we had issues with Carol, who was not only demeaning, and apathetic but has the customer service ability of a dirty diaper. Sadly enough, she is the Manager or Owner!! As the highest on payroll she deserves a severe demotion and someone else needs to run that place. The only thing this place has going for it is its location and proximity to downtown. That and theres a young man who works there named TJ who is the diamond in the rough at that place. He works mostly outside, in the heat, helping to return and clean out the Uhauls. Our interaction with him was the only positive experience we can glean from patronizing with this Uhaul. He deserves a raise and a promotion for maintaining a positive attitude, being helpful, dilligent, willing to go above and beyond for the customer, all amidst clearly poor conditions and management that he has to work with. I hope his spirit doesnt get broken by the terrible attitudes of his colleagues and I hope UHAUL as a company regonizes his hard work and enacts stricter guidelines for the rude "managment" and "Customer service" agent you all have employed there.
