Checking in was a joke there wasn't enough staff for a Saturday. The banter that occurred between one of the renter groups and the staff that obviously new each other slowed the process down it took me over 15 minutes to get my truck even though I had checked in beforehand. The ruck didn't sound good when we started obviously a loose belt. The check engine light was on the whole time.Michael D.

The pics in the app are not high-res enough to show all the damage to the trucks. As such, there's not way to prove that some minor thing wasn't already there. This location is in a sketchy area with sketchy staff. I was overcharged by $19.21 with no invoice ever sent to indicate why. I have video before and after shots of the pick up, drop-off, time, fuel level, and odometer readings, so I know what I should've been charged for mileage. Fuel was spot on, exactly where it was when I picked it up. I'll never go back to this location again. Experiences like this are why Penske is a better option.brian C.

Your manager and desk attendant were very helpful and polite. The manager was very aware of the need to orient the safety chains properly. I offered to hook them up and intentionally did them incorrectly and she professionally and politely corrected me. Trailer worked as intended. Would rent from this location again.mark K.
Not organized. I reserved a truck and showed up at the designated time and was told they did not have my truck for me. Then after waiting around for about 30 minutes as the staff tried to figure out what else to do (maybe give me a cargo van instead), they realized that they did have my truck there for me to use. The truck was a bit old with the odometer reading over 133,000 miles. It would have been better without the heavy odor of stale cigarettes inside the cab. Check-in and drop off was quick with no surprises or heavy upselling.James C.

On The Go movers did a fantastic job in moving my stuff. Went above and beyond to safely pack up my moving truck with as much stuff as we could fit on one trip. We got way more done than expected, for the same price I was expecting to pay! I will call On The Go Movers again if I ever have to move again. I showed up for my reservation and there was no truck. I was told to return at 7 am the next morning and the store was closed until almost 8:30. I had hired movers and lost some time with them. The manager who DID show up was extremely nice, apologetic and helpful. I know there are circumstances beyond some control but it was very stressful during what is already a stressful time. Not sure only 2nd time using Uhaul. My only complaint is that I went to the location on east Washington st and was told Corporate isnt allowing walk ins, then by someone else they where all booked up. They did not offer any other assistance. I drove home and called what I think was a local number and made my reservation for the trailer when and picked it up. The young man that assisted me was very professional and polite he answered my questions and hitched me up when I picked it up and disconnected when I returned the trailer. Well done.Michael W.

The GM was late opening the store so there were customer's waiting to be assisted with their reservations. The Regional Office had to call to inform us that the store would open late. I checked in early the previous day via the website and when the GM finally arrived he asked me the exact same questions I answered via the early check in, (I had already uploaded my DL on the website), and he asked for it again before checking the system. I reserved the truck for 3 hours and he attempted to cut my time short because he arrive to work late. The truck was freezing inside and not even warmed up for me. They over charged me once I returned the vehicle and there were additional hidden fees I was not made aware of. I couldn't even speak with the GM because he left early for the day and the young lady who was assisting him acted as if she didn't want to be at work. I had problems getting in contact with management when I needed help. When I signed up for automatic payment arrangement they would charge my bank card twice every month, I would have to call for the inconvenience. I was promised a discount for signing for automatic payments and never received it. After I moved my stuff out of storage I found that I am missing a lot of my stuff, I am missing pictures for my decorations, lamps, and a few boxes of clothes. If you send in secret shoppers to the other locations [pendelton pike] with adults well beyond their 30s and the young adults at the[ keystone ave] they will put them to shame. The layout was a lie, there is no easy access to the 2nd or 3rd floor. The units doors don't even go to the ground, so our goal or storing a piano was quickly met with failure. We didn't even bother breaking that tag of the storage unit we just left and requested our contract be canceled. I was told by the phone reservationist the facility had a freight elevator to move my furniture to the 3rd floor, so I accepted a third floor unit. When I got to the facility, I learned there was no elevator in the facility. When checking in, the service agent didn't appear how to input data into the computer. He kept making mistakes and had to redo most items. When I asked if this basic info was in the system because I provided it when I made the reservation. He responded, " Don't get me started about the call center." My movers were waiting to unload their truck and were getting quite impatient. They estimated my fee based on time and had not allowed for a 30 minute check in at the storage unit. humidity control (musty,, mildew) is understandably sub-optimal on units with outside walls; single dehumidifier for large square foot facility - more of a facility design issue (U-Haul corporate vs. local management); less of a problem for units central to building Bill Meguschar. and staff do a fine job - good service, friendly, helpful, work to resolve any issues and in general a pleasure to do business with; would recommend to others and use in the future cost increases were regular and not as price competitive as some, but I utilized the facility for longer than expected (ended up with 2 units @$150, $300/mo total for over a year) so this was inevitable many thanks, Bill EllisonWILLIAM E. | Overall Experience

The unit I was shown to had thin plywood walls with water stain about three inches up. Additionally there was standing water outside of the storage unit by the entrance. I was not about to leave my furniture there! The helpful staff found me another U Haul storage facility not too far away that was newer and had cleaner storage. That worked out for us.
