In addition to the trailer I reserved in advance, I also included an appliance dolly and 24 moving blankets. Upon arriving to get the trailer, I was informed there were was not the dolly nor any blankets available at this site. Further, I had to go to Lawrence location to get the accessories. When my move was complete, I had to return the trailer and accessories to their two originating locations which understand. However, a week after I returned the accessories to the Lawrence location, an employee called me asking me if/when I would be returning them. I should have gotten a receipt at that time instead of trusting your "employee" when he said he would email the receipt. No accountability whatsoever between both locations. I will NEVER do business with Uhaul again.

The engine light and "Service Tire Monitoring System" light was on throughout the use of vehicle....NEver sure if vehicle break-down would result during my use of truck. Checked several time during use to ensure truck tires were not low on air.

Dropped off on Friday afternoon. Waited in the drop off bay for 15 minutes. No one came out to help. Went inside and told to pull around the building and drop it off. Brought paperwork inside and was told she would check us in. 2 days later we get a call from a different U-Haul location in Indy claiming we owed an additional $200 and had not dropped it off. The manager that called was initially very argumentative, basically claiming I was lying about the drop off. Then told us we went to the wrong location for drop off. I got the location from the ORIGINAL email sent when I rented it. The manager then looked through the computer and discovered the location we used. Apparently someone along the way changed the drop off location. Additionally, the employee that said she would check the trailer in never did so. All around, very disappointing.

Never using U-haul again. When a customer has to call three times to customer support. They over charge you for an issue that was noted the first time calling, your truck smelled like smoke, your individual at the location was rude, I will just never ever use uhaul again. You are the worst trucking company ever.

We we're needing to pick up our U-Haul pick up as close to 10 am as possible. Because we were on a time constraint. We arrived at 10:05 am and had to wait 45 minutes before this location was ready for us to leave with our rental. We needed to pick up 3 cubic yards of topsoil to disperse in at our home, This required two trips, there to the Land distribution Center and back again. Because U-Haul was short-staffed that day, and as a result delayed us retrieving our U-haul we missed our window of opportunity to be able to retrieve our second load of topsoil. As a result of not being able to pick it up before they closed we lost our $65.00 deposit. When we returned and explained, they offered to extend our U-Haul the next day- well that was not an option as it required 2 people to pick up and unload - and the next day was Monday a work day. So, I called U-Haul manager and asked them to be accountable for their delay thus delaying us and costing us more than we budgeted for and lost our deposit - And all they offered was an apology and credit of $19.95 .. Seriously? and yet we still need to retrieve 1 & 1/2 Cubic Yards of top soil... so now what?

I’m not blaming the staff, as they were friendly and apologetic, but we waited over an hour to be helped upon arrival. We were 4th in line. Everyone else was renting vehicles, except us. Listening to the people in front of us, I could tell that nobody’s reservation was going smoothly. Slow computers, an invalid driver’s license, not enough vans to fulfill all reservations, etc etc. Once we finally got access to our unit, the loading dock area was full of broken glass, so I couldn’t back my car up all the way. The whole thing was inefficient. Friendly staff was the highlight.

The trucks inside passenger door handle was gone. It blew air through the missing handle hole. It sounded like a tornado inside due to the air coming through the hole. You had to yell to talk inside. The AC didn’t work so it was very hot inside the cab.

I had arranged to deliver a very large painting to a customer at 9a, so I rented a van for pickup at 8a. The pickup was scheduled to be done over the phone. I walked through the steps on my phone but got an error message that the equipment wasn't available. When I called the help number they told me that this location forgot to make the key available. I had to wait until the store opened at 9a. When I came back at 9a, I asked why the van couldn't be picked up at 8a. At first the man at the counter said this location doesn't do that. I said it shouldn't be an option on the website. Then he said they actually do but they just didn't make the key available. I didn't get the van until after 9:30a and made me look unprofessional.

The first vehicle offered was dirty inside and had a broken visor. I asked for a new vehicle which was provided but was concerned I would get double charges. The desk person was not helpful in explaining and I ended up with multiple contracts/receipts. Will not use this location again.

The truck was the worse truck on the lot and I made that statement to the stuff that was on duty and they were for certain the truck was ok, all for the truck to breakdown and had to be towed from out in front of my home, not to mention the truck was loaded with my belongings all for me to have to unload it , and UHAUL has the nerves to still CHARGE me!!!!!!!!!!! and now i have to pay a prorated rent because i'm not able to move until the weekend do to work !! This company has HURT me more them helping me, I will NEVER in life use this company again!!!

When I showed up to pick up my truck and dollys. I was informed they had no 2-wheel dollys or furniture dollys. The said northside location had them if I wanted to pic up there, however I didn't have that time. It would have been nice to know in advance so I could have had the time to travel up there to pick them up.

When I paid off my daughter's bill & went to empty her unit I couldn't get in bcs they didn't lift her pin number restriction. No one was available to assist. Last person I talked to offered a $100 pay out AFTER I couldn't get in which wasn't my fault...I went back AGAIN 2 months later to pay and empty the unit but my daughter's belongings were auctioned off from what I was told was possibly by mistake bcs her bill wasn't on a lien as of yet. I was told someone would call me and resolve the situation but I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. The automated service sends you in circles when you call...This IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS! 😞

Often times we would show up and the storage would have a different lock on it after it’s been paid. But other than that the experience was okay.

This storage unit met my needs during a time of change in my life. The facility is sometimes swept, but sometimes there’s junk that’s been dumped on the floors for day. There were several times I visited with people’s possessions dumped out outside beside the loading dock. The bathroom was out of toilet paper the time I tried to go. There was rarely a time when I could access the initial box to enter the code because there were trucks and trailers in front of it. The loading ramp is hard to access because it’s a tight squeeze with trailers and trucks parked in front of the entrance. The facility staff were nice and helped when my code didn’t work or I had trouble accessing the box. It was easy to sign up and I’m glad I could get in by the next day or within hours of paying. I’d love if they could prorate a month, since I moved out in the middle of a 30-day billing cycle, but that’s minor to the code boxes being consistently difficult to access.

From the past manager to the current one Bryon. It has been the most convenient and easiest experience with UHAUL. Any time i had an issue, rather it be payment and or just getting access to the facility. They were always there. With a smiling face and welcome energy, as if they were happy to help. Good people are hard to come by these days, however you've managed to keep good ones around. For the past few years while i have been renting from you. I really appreciate that. The lady that rented the unit to me entered the wrong information and a letter was sent to someone that should have never received the letter. No elevator or lift to get to the 3rd floor units. Storage units are not all that secure. Anyone could kick thru the wood doors.

This storage had a water leak for over 2 years and never notified me to let me know that my stuff was destroyed and molded and wet I had to come up to this facility and was getting ready to move out find out that my stuff was Destroy overall I really had no problems with this facility sometimes you could call the phone and no one never answers but when you get there someone is always sitting at the desk or maybe out in the garage smoking a cigarette on the phone but if I had to re-rent I will probably use you all again thank you and have a great day

I had problems getting in contact with management when I needed help. When I signed up for automatic payment arrangement they would charge my bank card twice every month, I would have to call for the inconvenience. I was promised a discount for signing for automatic payments and never received it. After I moved my stuff out of storage I found that I am missing a lot of my stuff, I am missing pictures for my decorations, lamps, and a few boxes of clothes. I do not know where they are or why they would be missing

All of the staff at this location was respectful, friendly, courteous and just Awesome. If you send in secret shoppers to the other locations [pendelton pike] with adults well beyond their 30s and the young adults at the[ keystone ave] they will put them to shame. With staff like them keystone is my set location. Moving is stressful enough. Those types of people keep your customers coming back. This was for my mom. I was done with Uhaul after my last experience. My reservation was switched to a terrible far places that costs me more than I ever paid when using yaw. Those young adults renewed my faith in yaw.

I've only had my storage unit for a few days, however it's clean, accessible by car or Mass transit, indoors with Indoor/outdoor security cameras with 7am-11pm accessibility. Only grip is there's no elevator, so plan to walk with items up to 3 flights of stairs & or the incline walkway to side entrance.

It was an extremely easy process. I needed a unit last minute and I found what I needed available online, booked it, received the info I needed, and arrived and moved stuff in easily, all within a few hours. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was great except all the debris from the ceiling??? Mice or rot or something created a bunch of saw dust like substance that covered our belongings in the back of the unit we rented. All else was well.

The layout was a lie, there is no easy access to the 2nd or 3rd floor. The units doors don't even go to the ground, so our goal or storing a piano was quickly met with failure. We didn't even bother breaking that tag of the storage unit we just left and requested our contract be canceled. I've never seen such a sad excuses for a storage unit, especially considering it cost the same amount a proper storage unit would cost.

I was told by the phone reservationist the facility had a freight elevator to move my furniture to the 3rd floor, so I accepted a third floor unit. When I got to the facility, I learned there was no elevator in the facility. When checking in, the service agent didn’t appear how to input data into the computer. He kept making mistakes and had to redo most items. When I asked if this basic info was in the system because I provided it when I made the reservation. He responded, “ Don’t get me started about the call center.” My movers were waiting to unload their truck and were getting quite impatient. They estimated my fee based on time and had not allowed for a 30 minute check in at the storage unit. These things need to be addressed by management and corrected if I am to recommend U Haul.

humidity control (musty,, mildew) is understandably sub-optimal on units with outside walls; single dehumidifier for large square foot facility - more of a facility design issue (U-Haul corporate vs. local management); less of a problem for units central to building Bill Meguschar. and staff do a fine job - good service, friendly, helpful, work to resolve any issues and in general a pleasure to do business with; would recommend to others and use in the future cost increases were regular and not as price competitive as some, but I utilized the facility for longer than expected (ended up with 2 units @$150, $300/mo total for over a year) so this was inevitable many thanks, Bill Ellison

Recommend putting in ramps and remove the stairs by the unloading docks. It was a pain using one cart to unload things from the trailer, then transfer to another cart and then push stuff to the unit.

We canceled our storage unit as sooon as we saw it. There were plywood walls and water satin all along the bottom. There was standing water outside the storage garage as well. Staff was kind and helpful, found us another UHaul storage location to go to.

The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Very professional people. The office area was clean and nice. The storage area was awful. The unit I was shown to had thin plywood walls with water stain about three inches up. Additionally there was standing water outside of the storage unit by the entrance. I was not about to leave my furniture there! The helpful staff found me another U Haul storage facility not too far away that was newer and had cleaner storage. That worked out for us. You need to redo your storage facility or charge way less, I would not have even stored my things for free there though!
