The truck kept spitting out gas wasting it on the ground. The truck smelled like old spoiled onions and body odor from the moment I opened the door to get in. The truck kept making jerking movements and stalling. Added a lot of fear, anxiety, and made the trip scary and uncomfortable.

I answered I answered the last question not applicable because because the girl that I dealt with it when I walked in the door was rude. She was eating her food. She did not take me out to the truck to show me everything she has pointed to where the truck was and told me that the number of the truck is on the key and so I'm trying to figure out where to the number is on the truck so I come back in and ask her where is the number she says on top, so there was a gentleman in there that basically told me exactly where to look to find the number, so I'm not sure if I'd seen anybody there

When I picked up my truck there was no gas. It was below empty. I really just needed enough gas to get to a very close location and this caused me to have to fill it up before I even did anything. It'll be great to have at least a quarter or 1/16 a tank.

The lady at the counter didn't seem like she wanted to help me at all and was not very nice or helpful. When I came into the store there was no “hello” it was just stare me down and it made me very uncomfortable. Also the manager that was there didn't seem like he cared about the stuff there. He threw some car keys angrily when I was checking in. This location needs to be more compassionate about their stuff and customers. Where has customer service gone nowadays?!

Per the dash warning lights both rear tires need air. On visual inspection they appeared fine. I notified the attendant as was told it was the sensors and we were fine to leave. The warning light on the dash remained on the entire trip but we did not experience any issue .

the service agent lied to me about my contract. I was told since its 1 way that what ever days I turn the truck before the 4days I would be CREDITED back for the truck and the Insurance I paid for. Turns out that was a lie. The place I turned my truck into the service agent told me the exact same thing. 2 different states and places but yet NOT credit. Its sad companies can lie to get your money, but when you bring it up I was offered $50 towards my next U haul move. Yeah I will NEVER use Uhaul again now that I know lying and doing nothing about it is ok for this company.

Erica from customer service was not really being nice or welcoming when I called to say that I needed the truck from the original location. I understand what "preferred location" means. But I think she can still be nicer about it and sell the brand to a customer, not just one time service

There were no issued with the van. However, the store did not open until it was close to 45 minutes later. When I arrived there was already a line waiting outside and a line continued to increase until the store opened. If your store advertises opening at 9:00AM there should be someone there even if it's the store manager.

The gas on my vehicle was not left at 3/4 tank, but slightly under. I figured I'd pay the extra 5 or so extra dollars to get it to 3/4 tank after my use. Turns out, it cost me $40 to reach 3/4 tank of gas because the gas gauge refused to work. I had to put FORTY DOLLARS of gas after 32 miles to make it go to 3/4 tank. Fix the gauge PLEASE. Truck# DC3259F. This ruined my entire happiness with the trip. Also, there was no room in the equipment return section after hours. Additionally, there is no bar code to scan near the drop box if your phone can't connect its location to the Uhaul website. It made it an absolute pain to return.

Acquiring the Uhaul was not a big deal but returning was a total nightmare. Location services would not work on my account (I believe this to be an issue on your end as multiple other customers returning their vehicles after hours also did not have location services working) so I was told to scan the store barcode but there was NO direction on where the barcode was and I walked around the entire store exterior looking for one. Finally tried using my boyfriends phone where the location services worked and your return process is a massive pain in the ass. If you're going to market 24/7 drop off I would work on your websites UX because it's atrocious and was so frustrating. Also never received a confirmation even though the website said I completed my return so that's concerning. My advice: review your after hours return process because that was not easy.

This storage had a water leak for over 2 years and never notified me to let me know that my stuff was destroyed and molded and wet I had to come up to this facility and was getting ready to move out find out that my stuff was Destroy overall I really had no problems with this facility sometimes you could call the phone and no one never answers but when you get there someone is always sitting at the desk or maybe out in the garage smoking a cigarette on the phone but if I had to re-rent I will probably use you all again thank you and have a great day

I had problems getting in contact with management when I needed help. When I signed up for automatic payment arrangement they would charge my bank card twice every month, I would have to call for the inconvenience. I was promised a discount for signing for automatic payments and never received it. After I moved my stuff out of storage I found that I am missing a lot of my stuff, I am missing pictures for my decorations, lamps, and a few boxes of clothes. I do not know where they are or why they would be missing

All of the staff at this location was respectful, friendly, courteous and just Awesome. If you send in secret shoppers to the other locations [pendelton pike] with adults well beyond their 30s and the young adults at the[ keystone ave] they will put them to shame. With staff like them keystone is my set location. Moving is stressful enough. Those types of people keep your customers coming back. This was for my mom. I was done with Uhaul after my last experience. My reservation was switched to a terrible far places that costs me more than I ever paid when using yaw. Those young adults renewed my faith in yaw.

I've only had my storage unit for a few days, however it's clean, accessible by car or Mass transit, indoors with Indoor/outdoor security cameras with 7am-11pm accessibility. Only grip is there's no elevator, so plan to walk with items up to 3 flights of stairs & or the incline walkway to side entrance.

The layout was a lie, there is no easy access to the 2nd or 3rd floor. The units doors don't even go to the ground, so our goal or storing a piano was quickly met with failure. We didn't even bother breaking that tag of the storage unit we just left and requested our contract be canceled. I've never seen such a sad excuses for a storage unit, especially considering it cost the same amount a proper storage unit would cost.

I was told by the phone reservationist the facility had a freight elevator to move my furniture to the 3rd floor, so I accepted a third floor unit. When I got to the facility, I learned there was no elevator in the facility. When checking in, the service agent didn't appear how to input data into the computer. He kept making mistakes and had to redo most items. When I asked if this basic info was in the system because I provided it when I made the reservation. He responded, " Don't get me started about the call center." My movers were waiting to unload their truck and were getting quite impatient. They estimated my fee based on time and had not allowed for a 30 minute check in at the storage unit. These things need to be addressed by management and corrected if I am to recommend U Haul.

humidity control (musty,, mildew) is understandably sub-optimal on units with outside walls; single dehumidifier for large square foot facility - more of a facility design issue (U-Haul corporate vs. local management); less of a problem for units central to building Bill Meguschar. and staff do a fine job - good service, friendly, helpful, work to resolve any issues and in general a pleasure to do business with; would recommend to others and use in the future cost increases were regular and not as price competitive as some, but I utilized the facility for longer than expected (ended up with 2 units @$150, $300/mo total for over a year) so this was inevitable many thanks, Bill Ellison

Recommend putting in ramps and remove the stairs by the unloading docks. It was a pain using one cart to unload things from the trailer, then transfer to another cart and then push stuff to the unit.

We canceled our storage unit as sooon as we saw it. There were plywood walls and water satin all along the bottom. There was standing water outside the storage garage as well. Staff was kind and helpful, found us another UHaul storage location to go to.

The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Very professional people. The office area was clean and nice. The storage area was awful. The unit I was shown to had thin plywood walls with water stain about three inches up. Additionally there was standing water outside of the storage unit by the entrance. I was not about to leave my furniture there! The helpful staff found me another U Haul storage facility not too far away that was newer and had cleaner storage. That worked out for us. You need to redo your storage facility or charge way less, I would not have even stored my things for free there though!

The service was exceptional! I give it 5 stars. The storage facility is clean, but is multi-level with stairs and no freight elevator. There is a steep ramp. Loading is precarious and a safety issue.
