I have used this location for over 20 years and it is always subpar. The workers are always very nice, but the equipment is never checked. This time: The trailer was not even checked in. It was not swept out. The tires were both over 20lbs low. The location is fine and near my home, but I always force them to check tire pressures and lights before I drive off. The people are great, but I don't ever trust their trailer prep.James G.

The gas gauge and amount you are told to return the vehicle in is nothing short of Misleading. According to the mark on the paperwork I returned the vehicle back with more gas than was required only to be told I missed the â€œmarkâ€ and was charged $4 plus for several gallons of gas. Person I set up rental date did not know where to get liability insurance. When I picked up truck I told them I wanted 10,000 coverage, but I was told only 1000 coverage for your truck and included liability. Admittedly, this place was busy, but NO PARKING was available. I parked where I could. Was close to being helped, then they said I needed to move my truck, which put me at the back of the line. Then computer problems. Then, the first trailer had a wiring problem. 2nd trailer: When it comes to lifting onto your trailer hitch these 6x12 trailers are heavy enough (why no lift on these?), but I hurt my back trying to lift/attach onto my truck. Seems the axle on the trailer that had been backed onto the hitch of the trailer behind it, making this trailer impossible to lift. It wasn't an upsetting experience, just a painful and time-eating event, not to mention moving with a now hurt back. Third trailer was fine, but required new paperwork. Again, staff was fine, but the system/setup/experience I will just put behind.Thomas N.

Truck was not available at reserved time. I had to return hours later. Taxes and supplemental charges over $75 were not revealed until I picked up the truck. No transparency there! No one explained any of the controls on the vehicle. Check Engine light came on, probably because the gas cap would not snap closed. The governor at 75 mph makes transmission difficult. The A/C fan had no OFF position. HOWEVER, the truck was steady and got me across country.Lynda W.

Hire more people. Customers waiting one person working the counter. If you try to call you get a twenty-minute-wait recording. When I returned the truck it was no better. The truck rode like it had no shocks. The transmission strained every time it changed gears. The brakes would grab if you were not very careful. What is deal with the drivers set? I'm 6'2" and could barely see over the steering wheel. Could not see away way to raise the seat. Of course the guy who checked me in and pointed out the truck across the parking lot left before I could ask any questions and the other employee at the counter was busy telling waiting customers about his problems the computer.dan S.

When I returned this trailer on Monday morning, the lot was full of trucks which had been returned over the weekend and the staff was working to check in. There was no dollies at this facility. If u have a lot of trucks on premises to rent out, there should be an equal amount of utility dolly and appliance dolly for each 1 truck u have on the premises to rent out. I explained to the customer service representative on the 1 800 call while reserving the the equipment; the make, model, size and tow capacity of my vehicle and hitch. She said nothing to me about the hitch ball size and drop inches needed on the hitch. I arrived at home Depot and my hitch didn't fit any of the tow equipment. The U-Haul location didn't sell the side I needed ðŸ˜¥. I had to go to home Depot for the hitch-ball and O Riley's for the hitch. I made it back to the UHaul location 2 minutes before they closed after all that shopping. The U-Haul employees at the store were very nice, patient, and helped install everything. If the 1 800 call center would have informed me, I would have arrived at the U-Haul store with the proper tire hitch. I think the people taking 1 800 reservations shit be more knowledgeable about the equipment that they are reserving for customers. It was raining and unnecessarily stressful. I was traveling to Dallas and back with a trailer and thought I would need to change to a tow dolly for the return home and asked would I have any problem, they said no. Well luckily I didn't need to because AR customer service is ðŸ'¯ compared to TX, they were rude and had the worst customer service I have ever encountered. And when I got home my u-haul was closed and the return equipment app wouldn't work, so I had to leave the trailer and called the 800 customer service to advise them of the issue. I was pleased to see the next day I had a email with the charges and I was NOT overcharged for the return. I was truly happy with the rental.MONICA D.

The employees were very friendly and helpful, but the facilities seemed to have many issues. A lot of interior lights were burned out on multiple occasions when we visited, the gate to access the storage building area was always open when we visited, we noticed rat poison laying around, multiple units near my own had cards on the door that said they had mold growing inside and remained that way the entirety of the time I had my unit, and the insulation on the ceiling in my unit was falling apart so badly that all of my items had to be cleaned off upon removal. My only complaint is that the outdoor access storage unit I reserved online was not actually available when I arrived. There were indoor and larger units available, just not what I asked for or what was confirmed online. The storage unit I ended up with was $30 more per month, which will add up over time. I was told that the U-Haul website confirmation doesn't necessarily mean anything for the local U-haul businesses. I've had this problem before where the right hand doesn't know (or care) what the left hand is doing. The local folks did try to accommodate my exist request, but it would have meant going to a different branch/facility, one further away from my residence.
