First truck had trash in back. Went in to get key, told employee. He offered another lower mileage truck. It also had trash in back, interior cabin was 10/10 smoker smell with ashes on floor and in cup holders. Drivers side mirror very loose. App didn't update with new unit, kept getting error message that mileage couldn't be accepted because it was lower than the unit I was supposed to be driving. One of the worst product experiences I've had with a U-Haul and I've had them since 1996.Pete L.

Had to return home to get my cell phone because they would not rent without seeing the phone answer their call. When asked how they rent to people who do not have a cell phone I was told they do not rent to those people. No mention of the phone requirement was obvious when I rented the trailer online.Robert K.

Too expensive. 79 cents a mile. Had the truck for $60 for 48 hours. They want to charge you if you use the hand truck or pads (but I didn't do that). $28 insurance and which I understand to put the gas in as you received the truck. So, just for the truck, it cost me $245. Never again. It's cheaper to hire a moving companySUSAN M.

I was told the location where I should pick up the truck. The next morning it was changed. I requested an appliance dolly. The location did not have one! I needed it to move a refrigerator. The truck seemed to have a little play in the steering so it was not easy to drive and I had to drive it over 400 miles. The truck had not been cleaning out completely. First truck we received was dirty and reeked of cigarettes. We were given a different truck thankfully. We had reserved an appliance dolly but we were told â€œsince no one returned any last night, all we have is a utility dollyâ€REBECCA K.

Please make sure the customers is informed in writing that there is a 1 hour window in which you must show up to pick up your vehicle or your reservation is canceled. This was not told to us and when we got there our vehicle was released. This cause major issues because we were moving and needed the right size vehicle. In addition the original vehicle we were given had a transmission issue and when I put it in reverse it kept going forward and almost crashed into another you are vehicle. The general manager there was horrible he could care less that our vehicle was giving away he made a bunch of excuses is specifically because of him I will never come back and I will make sure none of my friends go back either. This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had renting a vehicleTRACY P.

After a very long weekend and calling the help desk, by the way was terrible over 1 hour waiting and over 1 hour waiting for services, staying up late and nothing being done with road side assistance. Then using the digital call that was ridiculous, i was not contacted and I had to try 3 times before anything occurred and none of this information was related to the facility. I had to talk to the manager and he said I had to call road side again to get any help. If it was not for the kind assistance from Christian Ricketts, he was a life saver and helped me saving me stress and depression. He really did far more than he should have and I think he is a valuable member and a positive light after this whole endure. In the end I was helping my daughter a military member who serves our country and I did not receive any help until Christian took it upon himself to help a mother in need.Rebecca M.
Trailer stop and turn signals worked on trailer but not tail lights. I didn't find out until it got dark. Trailer was clean, but as far as maintenance the lights need to be fixed. I reported this issue when I returned the trailer.Brian B.

Update photos on the equipment verification process to show most recent condition of equipment instead of the photos of the equipment when it was new. This makes the process too difficult for the customer because we have to dispute most photos and take current photos before leaving the lot. This is not ok for the customer to do the work and not get compensated for it. ¡Gracias!LESLIE M.

The second unit - which I had booked online - had no lock inside as promised according to the rep. When I went to the office, I realized I needed an additional (3rd) unit. The rep decided it was more important for her to sell me my third unit and THEN charge me for a lock, rather than to inform me that I would get a free lock if I stood there and booked the unit online. Just about every time i went into this storage place it smelled like a dead rat. i'm not sure what is being done about that but the smell is enough to make you want to puke. the staff are very nice however i didnt appreciate knowing there was a possibility mice were running through my things. i had the wings of a dead cockroach when i removed my things from storage. that did it for me. :(Andrae V. | Overall Experience

Every time I went there were no parking, there was always an odor very horrible, it smelled like death. The employees there seem to be all young and playful (speaking only on the young ladies). The only thing was, some guys called me to ask, if I had two storage units. I said yes but when I came back to the storage, they had cut off my lock, and nothing was on my unit 1605.
