Make sure salesperson explains time and amount of hours the rental is for. This is the second time we've had issues with renting hours.

Jeffrey B.They need more room at this location to pull out a truck and inspect it all around before leaving. Trucks are parked tightly together so can't really see anything until pulled out. The 20' truck I had was perfect size. Alignment was off, lots of dings, scratches and scrapes all over the truck, but that didn't impact the drive or interior. Check-out at counter was pretty fast - I had pre-checked in the day before. Check-in was good - very nice agent. Good experience overall.

Richard D.I did not like the fact that I was informed that I could get a refund or credit for not using my rental on April 8,2023. Then when I contacted customer service they informed me the general manager would have to do reached out to them and was told I couldn't because I didn't bring it back early enough it's obvious I didn't use it by the mileage and I came and rented the the same truck in April 11,2023. I like to receive the refund since I was informed by an employee that I could. Then I was charged for gas and I shouldn't of been. If I didn't take a picture prior to me leaving in the truck I would of been disputing that as well.

Overall, though, the staff was efficient at getting me checked in and out. Far more efficient and energetic than the Hewatt Road location staff, but I haven't rented there in a long while.

Leonard H.The key to start the truck I rented was difficult turn in the ignition. I had to jiggle and force the ignition to turn. When I mentioned it on the return, the tech told me that it was common and I just needed to try multiple times. I was afraid the key would break which is how hard it was to turn.

I was later told after the fact that I will get my money back in 3 to 5 business days. That's bad business in itself. It's especially bad when you explain to the customers after the fact. I will never use or recommend U-Haul ever again. Just terrible customer service.

I checked back later that day with a different person at the front desk and he was able to get me a 10x10 unit after I had already moved into the smaller unit and found that my things would not fit. Also, a 10x10 unit should be recommended for a 6x12 trailer and not a 5x10 unit.

Haley provided phone assistance to me however based on her recommendation for a truck, I had to make multiple trips. This not only caused me additional fees, it cost me time and other costs due to multiple trips. I was unable to get a larger truck at the time because of her lack of knowledge. Employees should be aware of the customers needs, particularly if we, the customer relies on their expertise for assistance.

Dwayne N. | First ImpressionsI started renting here about 2008 so it's been 13 years. Over that time this facility has changed from being clean and well run to being dirty (especially at the loading dock). There is also a stink inside the facility that covers about 1/3 of the downstairs which has been present at least for the past 4-5 months. Something is inside one of the units that indicates decay of some type. The managers don't seem to be concerned. I was also promised security to the facility in the beginning, but that no longer applies. The door is always open and my access card is no longer needed. Access to the loading dock is usually limited to only one vehicle on the steep side because U-Haul trucks are parked too close to allow a second vehicle to back up to the dock. It's a bad situation to need to be there and not be able to pull a vehicle close. The high tent installed to accommodate returning rented trucks is too close to the turning point where you need to circle near the loading dock. If a vehicle is parked in one of the spaces on the corner of the loading dock, it makes it nearly impossible to pull a pickup truck through. Bottom line is this is a poorly run, badly maintained, and improperly designed facility. I would not rent here again. There are several other options in the area which are all better.

I have been able to save my things in U-Haul storage and they have always been courteous on the phone or in person I really appreciate everything Uhaul storage does for me thank you so much and I will use you in the future.

I needed to contact the main office for an issue and the staff did not help me at all. 3 of them sat behind the desk and did nothing. I always use u haul, but this made me want to go elsewhere. I will not use this experience to make that call but this was the worst customer service I have had I a while.
GERSHOM W. | First ImpressionsThe young man who reserved my unit was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, the young lady who checked me in was indifferent, unfriendly and unengaging. She neither smiled nor thanked me for my service. Additionally the office area is much too cluttered and hazardous and the loading dock platform had jagged something or other hanging around the edge in some areas and there were loose rocks in the parking lot near the front, which one of my helpers almost tripped over. These issues lower the rating considerably for my experience and made me reconsider using the more professional, safer, and convenient higher priced Extra Storage Space.

The rep decided it was more important for her to sell me my third unit and THEN charge me for a lock, rather than to inform me that I would get a free lock if I stood there and booked the unit online. She knew it and decided not to give me that option. Even when I mentioned it after the sale. Bad business.

Andrae V. | Overall ExperienceIt smelled like something rotten by the enterence. The u-haul truck I rented was in bad shape. Broken side mirror and attached with a duct tape and that is a security concern. I brought it up to one of the employee. He was a nice guy and took care of it right away.
