Window behind window sounded it like it was going to fall out. The rattling sound was really loud. The left window seal of truck was defective. They marked the gas tank as a half of a tank when they knew it wasn't. The lady that checked out my truck blamed me for damaging the sliding rear door without really checking the real issue out. The real issue was their were no wheels on the pins so the door would stay on track. I had to deal with a non functioning door.ROBERT B.

Of the four pickup and drop off dates I was given, zero of those actually came to fruition. There was zero communication, and I had to constantly call and ask where they were only to be on hold for 45 minutes and eventually learn they weren't coming for 2-3 days after they were supposed to. I took 4 days off of work that I didn't need to because uhaul couldn't communicate to me that they weren't showing up. We also received one very damaged box that snapped our couch in half and had splintered wood everywhere inside. I'm very disappointed and will not recommend Ubox to any friends, family, or neighbors.John C.

Online check in was a horrible experience. It took 1.5 hours to get the truck. I spoke to 2 separate reps in process. The first rep did not follow through on what she committed to when verifying 2nd contact. Then after getting through verification,we were issued keys to a different truck then our reservation. It was a nightmare and caused us to get behind on moving day. Moving is already stressful enough, using U-Haul made it even more stressful.Carissa B.

The check-in situation is terrible. Twice now I've been charged an overage fee because I did not check in correctly. The first time I was never told that I had to use the app. The second time I use the app and thought I completed it but it said I never finished and they charge me another $20. It's bullshitJON B.

Do not lie to me when I call customer service about there being an issue with the Uhaul van phone check in and tell me I won't be charge the extra $20 for Uhaul employees checking in the van instead even though I called customer service to let them know I couldn't call. Made reservation over the phone. Then was made to practically redo reservation process at time of pickup, while the employee "helping" was loudly, and quite rudely talking to a customer over the phone. (Later I will discover the rental time period will have been adjusted at this point without my notification). The first truck they put me in has the check engine light on and doesn't start. A young man behind the counter comments I was nearly "shit out of luck", as their shift was almost over. We redo the paperwork for another truck, I'm handed keys. The keys don't work for the truck, of course I had been directed to the wrong truck. So 30-40 minutes after my reservation I'm finally in a working truck. Having to drive 30+ mins to and from the Uhaul location, 40 mins is a considerable amount of time to waste out of the 6 hour rental period. I rush to return the truck at 10pm, as had been the designated return time when I initially made the reservation over the phone. The "check in" process online was not working. Was approached by another frustrated customer having the same issue. Then finally, the overnight key drop off was difficult to find. . . Upon returning the key, and now looking at the rental details online, only then do I realize the rental period had been changed from 6 to 15 hours, and I hadn't needed to rush after all. If only I had been informed of the change. Overall, just unprofessional, poorly maintained (equipment) and a negative experience. Didn't even finish moving.ZACHARY H.

Keeped getting charged for uboxs we did not order. We keeped getting charges for things we have no ideal why. They lie about stuff to try to save there butts. Will never ever recommend to enyone! They still are trying to charge me but yet they keeped changing the date to pick the empty ones up witch I should be charging them for.haggar H.
Everything was good with the storage, but I had a horrible experience with an unfriendly staff at Glenncrossing Uhaul. She was not happy that I returned forth and back to ask a lot of questions about my storage. Hence, she refused me service and made me pass through a lot of stress to get a truck from another Uhaul branch from another location. Asked for a bigger unit was told that was the biggest she had but I definitely saw WAY more units that were bigger then mine. Around 5 others were trying to move at the same time as we were so it became beyond crowded. There was no way for all of us to be able to move around at once. Gnats and roaches were found. A contract was generated in my name without my knowledge. I made a complaint to the local office that rented the equipment. The female was dismissive and did not want to admit her wrong in not reviewing a contract with the wrong person's name on it. She made excuses. The general manager sent me a very poor response via email without properly acknowledging me. I will escalate my complaint further and express how inconsiderate this location was to the failure of properly verifying and recording the recipient of the rented equipment.Jeannette W.

To be truthful what ills your business is a universal problem. Costumer service is no longer a positive experience in so many businesses. The employees tend to act as if you are a nuisance they are only dealing with because that is how they get a paycheck. The two employees we dealt where not rude they just come off as being put out that they are even at work. Again, you facility was very well kept and a well equipped. Very nice respectful staff, i ordered online but paid in person, I put the amount for online ordee on my card, but in person the amount was higher, the mileage requested was lowered with the assistance of very listening,caring, and going above and beyond staff, all employees are nice from desk to help picking up, and dropping off, and even helped me obtain a storage area. Charged $40 for bringing the van back 10 minutes late. Was caught in traffic on the way and figured a grace period was available as long as it wasn't too late. Time to return was 2 PM, arrived at 2:10 and had to wait for the tech to check me in. I spent an HOUR getting my U- Haul. Is that the level of service you now provide to your customers, GM Matthew Haskins? Waited in line for 25 minutes because the 1 trainee was trying to help the 3 customers in the lobby waiting to give you our money, while her experienced trainer was on the phone calling customers, not at all concerned about making us wait. Then in the rain had to venture back to the office after 1st truck they gave me wouldn't even start/dead battery. Matthew was kind enough to drive my replacement truck up near the front door, but I guess it never crossed his mind to drive it under the covered canopy, so I did my damage inspection outside the truck in the rain. Despite the paperwork showing my new truck should start with 1/2 tank gas, the 2nd truck only had 1/4 tank of gas so had to get gas so we'd make it back/forth from our trip, which I clearly stated on my order was going to be 90 miles. Why would you give me a truck with 1/4 tank gas that you knew I had to drive 90 miles? Upon returning the truck, the black female waiting on me said there was nothing she could do when I asked her why they send trucks out with only 1/4 tank of gas. She said that I should've made a 3RD trip back to the office before I left to notify them of the gas shortage and they would've given me an adjustment, but can do nothing now. Her combative attitude and raising her voice while she kept talking over me led me to ask to speak with the GM, who of course was not due back in the office for awhile. Luckily the training manager remembered me from the 1 hour morning debacle 6 hours earlier and agreed to do the adjustment now. I've rented from this location many times over the last 10 years and can't believe how bad the service is now. Penske will be getting all my/family & friends business in the future.Lawrence H.

The girl at the front desk kept telling me I needed to bring the truck back I said I know she said multiple more times that I needed to bring it back insinuating that I was going to keep or steal the truck. If I didn't Uber there I would have left!!! I asked why the deposit was more than the other times I rented a truck (this was my 3rd time in 2 months) different location she said she didn't know did I want the truck or not! The manager that was there was not any better as he said I was lucky they had a truck for me!! I did my reservation online to make sure they had what I was looking for. She did NOT tell me I needed to do the check list of the condition the truck was in when I took it otherwise I would have seen the fuel amount was wrong. This complaint has nothing to do with the GlenCrossing pickup site, my single issue with the whole process is learning one day before that I'd have to drive 35 miles to get the truck. It cost me a $50 Uber ride and extra $10 in gas just to get to my starting point. Uhaul covered the extra miles...Big deal. Other than that complaint, all else was great.JEFFREY M.
A female employee got into a screaming match with me about parking after she pulled in going over 40 miles an hour into her spot. Her boss is no better. Everything is a huge inconvenience when I finally needed a favor of a lost key and needed a lock cut off. I spent 5 years storing here and was on time with payment consistently until I deactivated a card. I will Never Be back not store with uhaul again. When I went to this location to pick up my rental truck and set up my storage space I asked the employee at the desk if the truck and storage space size I reserved were going to be large enough for the items I was moving. She reassured me that both were adequate for my needs but both the truck and storage space were entirely too small. This problem has now led to me still having the truck rental past my reservation because I have no space to put the rest of my items. When I called the office to get an extension on the truck rental I was told no and that I would be charged a $50 fee. I am now on day 2 of the truck rental and am still without a storage space large enough to empty the rental truck. I cannot afford 2 storage spaces or to have the rental truck another day and it is creating a problem with me getting help physically moving since this has turned into a 2-3 day move. I need assistance from someone who is able to help me resolve this issue without paying a ton of fees and locate a storage space large enough for my items. Graciasjennifer g. | First Impressions

One of your workers; I think her name is Tina has waited on me in person and on the phone. She is very rude. When I had my storage shed emptied she waited on me. I had a uhaul padlock that was unused. She was the one who sold it to me but wouldn't take it back and refund my money. She was very rude about it. I am very happy with this storage location and facility which I used last year for my son's dorm room. I was disappointed when getting my access for my reservation this weekend. The weekend Manager was rude, and straight out lied about many things, in her attempt to upsell some options. I understand about upselling well, but what she did was a scam. She lied about having an elevator, about required padlock type and the ability to use my own homeowners insurance. Very horrible experience.
