I was charged a $153.50 deposit fee on 6-10-22. I rented a cargo van for 2 hours. You then charged me $61 for the actual rental and still haven't returned my $153.50. I stopped in and talked to the rep that rented me the van a week ago. She said the manager would call me and he has not.steve C.

My issue came when I arrived to pick up my reservation only to find it had been changed to a smaller truck than I requested. This resulted in having to do an additional round trip without the mover help. Reservations should not be changed without some kind of notification to the customer and if they do need to be changed, they should not be changed to a smaller truck but rather a bigger truck keeping the same rate of the size requested.Rachel D.

Was done early on a Saturday with our truck rental. Arrived at 610 waited 30 mins for assistance and at 640 was told they stop taking returns at 640 and had to do self return which didn't even work. The staff was nice enough, but not very professional. They gave information extremely quickly (talked really fast) and I didn't feel like there intent was to have you understand what they were saying. When I dropped off the truck at the appointed time (6:30), I waited in line for 25 minutes before someone behind th counter popped up and said â€œIf you're here to return your equipment you will have to do it online-we're closed!â€. I thought that was a pretty crappy way to handle that.Josh K.
I was disappointed that no one told me how to get the furniture dolly and pads I had rented. I assumed they were in the rental truck and not having them made moving much more difficult. When I asked to have the charges for those items removed, I was told it was my mistake for not picking them up. So I ended up paying for items I never even got to use.Stephanie M.

I had a reservation at the Northgate location, but my truck was not on the lot. An employee had taken the truck without permission . This caused me to have to pay for a longer lease and extra gas. I'm aware of the reservation guarantee and a $50 dollar refund for my inconvenience.JOHN M.

I would recommend only for the fact that it is a convenient location with convenient hours and return. I would not recommend calling. I called to tell them I was running late on my reservation, but would be there shortly. They picked up the phone and said please hold and put me on hold for 45 minutes. Not once did they pick up to apologize or ask me to call back or see what I wanted. Would have been short and sweet just to tell them I was on my way. During that 45 minutes that I waited on hold, I drove up to the place, walked in, paid for my rental, walked outside with the employee and got my equipment and left and headed home. I was still on hold the entire time. They were not busy. Rather than help the next customer walking in the door, someone should have picked up the phone to say something, anything. was ridiculous that we ended up having to take a 15 ft uhaul truck which was way to big all because we were told that we were not there by 8:30am and that you didn't have any more 10 ft trucks left, we ran into a huge accident on 1-75 on our way up from TN which really put us behind schedule and we never thought about calling because we had no idea there would be a problem in our not arriving at the time we planned on, we have never in all these yrs dealing with u-haul ran into this kind of problem before, whatever the time was that we had requested the u-haul trucks in the past the one that we needed was always ready whatever the time was that we had got there to pick it up, very very disappointed with your service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DeWayne P.

The boxes had arrived at the Glencrossing Way facility after being shipped from Everett Wa. At some point, I'm guessing during the shipping process, some securing hardware was added to the front of the door, which is fine, except that when the boxes were delivered for me to unload, the hardware was not removed... thats also not really an issue, had i been informed to bring some tools with me. It ended up adding over 30 minutes plus gas since I had to drive home and get tools, then drive back. Aside from that hiccup, everything was perfect!Justin P.

Everything was good with the storage, but I had a horrible experience with an unfriendly staff at Glenncrossing Uhaul. She was not happy that I returned forth and back to ask a lot of questions about my storage. Hence, she refused me service and made me pass through a lot of stress to get a truck from another Uhaul branch from another location. A female employee got into a screaming match with me about parking after she pulled in going over 40 miles an hour into her spot. Her boss is no better. Everything is a huge inconvenience when I finally needed a favor of a lost key and needed a lock cut off. I spent 5 years storing here and was on time with payment consistently until I deactivated a card. I will Never Be back not store with uhaul again. When I went to this location to pick up my rental truck and set up my storage space I asked the employee at the desk if the truck and storage space size I reserved were going to be large enough for the items I was moving. She reassured me that both were adequate for my needs but both the truck and storage space were entirely too small. This problem has now led to me still having the truck rental past my reservation because I have no space to put the rest of my items. When I called the office to get an extension on the truck rental I was told no and that I would be charged a $50 fee. I am now on day 2 of the truck rental and am still without a storage space large enough to empty the rental truck. I cannot afford 2 storage spaces or to have the rental truck another day and it is creating a problem with me getting help physically moving since this has turned into a 2-3 day move. I need assistance from someone who is able to help me resolve this issue without paying a ton of fees and locate a storage space large enough for my items. Graciasjennifer w. | First Impressions

Given my experience I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location, I relocated to Cincinnati and needed storage and selected U Haul based on name recognition and made my reservation on line, When i arrived i was quickly greeted by Matt who had a big smile and welcomed me to his facility, The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and quickly got me checked in, There was an issue since the size unit i reserved wasn't available but Matt quickly fixed that, He rented me 2 units that equaled what i reserved and to my surprise that solution worked better. He really knows what he is doing! Additionally the space is kept clean daily, access is easy and everything you store is secure.Ken R. | Overall Experience
