Customer service was good. I do wish the hours for access matched the website, which are listed as 5 AM - 10 PM. I even called to confirm and was told that the main store closes at 7 PM, but access card or pin # I would be able to go into the storage section until 10 PM. I went today at 6:30 PM and they warned they would be closing at 7 PM. Other than this, I've had a great experience going to this location. Staff is helpful. No complaints.

Not a thing, your system is very good and runs well. On a side note, I would recommend armed guards on the lot at night to prevent thieves from stealing the catalytic converters from the rental fleet.

There was no at customer service ever available. They were rude and not helpful. The truck I rented needed it's air bag serviced, had zero gas and the brakes barely worked. I really wish I would've looked up the reviews on this place before i rented a uhaul. Such an annoying experience, it's makes me never want to recommend or rent a uhaul again.

I had originally booked my moving truck with a different location, but both vehicles were out of service when I arrived for pick-up. Not only was that location able to refer me to the Garey Avenue location, but the check-out process was a breeze. I've been a long-time customer of the Garey location, and the staff have always been fantastic!

It was great. Thanks. I would suggest that service folks inform customers that they must pick up any moving blankets they ordered. I didn't realize that and left without them. It was not a big deal for us and I was credited back for the charge, but if people really need them, it would be helpful.

We used 1 U-Box to ship our furniture, clothes and small items from California to NYC. We relied on professional movers recommended on U-Hail website to load the box in California. Yesterday our U-Box arrived in New York at our address. I was present when the local movers opened the box and I took videos and pictures. All the pieces of furniture were either in pieces or damaged enough to make them unusable. Mirrors are broken, most of the rigid plastic bins we used to store our small items were completely wrecked causing the small items inside to be damaged as well.

When checking the truck, have customer their to go over all details that they will be charged for. I believed my gas gage was at the exact spot it was when I rented the truck but I still got charged for 1.5 gal of gas. Had the employee went over that with me I would have disputed that claim.

Make sure the trucks are clean before giving them out. A nice employee had to mop out the back right before we were about to take off because someone exploded a two liter soda. The seats, window levers, steering wheel, and dash were also sticky for some unknown reason and it smelled strongly of vomit.

Jose hooked up the Rogue on a tow dolly and bith straps came off the front tires while we were towing it. Luckily the chains were still in place but we could have lost our vehicle on the highway. Another uhaul location helped us secure it correctly. Everything was fine for the rest of the move.

This is a good location, centrally located in Pomona. David and the other staff are helpful and courteous. The only downside is all the homeless hanging around the facility. I had to constantly keep my head on a swivel to keep aware of my surroundings. I would definitely use U Haul and this location again.

The localtion did fine. It's the totat experience that was damn near traumatizing. Coordinating between UHaul and MovingHelp was disastrous. Doubtful I could recommend the "total" event to anyone. In fact, would probably try to discourage it. Certainly I won't do it again.

All the staff were wonderful and so polite. David the manager was unbelievable. I serve in the military and I'm always being sent out of the country for training or on temporary assignments and can't always make my payments on time. David would waive my late fees and even gave me his personal cell number so I can make my payments directly with him. I was just recently deployed to Ukraine and he made sure my unit was closed out and sent me a message letting me know it was done. My overall experience with him and all the staff was impeccable and well worth every dime I spent.

Firstly staff must learn to write clients names correctly! My first name is Jonathan but not Jonathon as is displayed here! I am disabled senile customer in a wheelchair Secondly, The Behavior of a staff member at the N Garey location named Karl was insolent n displayed gross insurbodination n should be removed from performing such essential customer services like that for U-Haul Customers! N should be terminated immediately To me his behavior poses a great liability to the company! Thirdly, I rented the U-Haul truck one way from Bakersfield California to Montclair San Bernardino County n to be dropped off at the North Garey location in Pomona n qualify for a month's free storage facility at the same location After a lot of unnecessary wrangling with Karl the truck was dropped off I arrived home n noticed that my American Express Card was charged $65.00 I called U/Haul to find out what the charges of $65.00 was for? Initially I was told it was for gas! Attempt was made the day before with the tank fully filled n Karl rejected the drop off! What is the charge of $65.00 for? This case is filed for dispute Slready my credit card had been charged $181.00 plus for the trip Bakerfield to Montclair California Please stop charging my credit card unnecessary because it is In your possession I will prefer monthly bills sent to me for settlement I am very disappointed in U/Haul n will never refer anyone to u! For questions number 1 and 5 I answered both no. It was really half yes and no for both questions. Answer 1 the facility felt secure however by storage row never turned on. Luckily there was natural light from the window. Answer 5 although, facility was clean the storage area, restroom, lobby and indoor painting the lighting in my storage area wasn't working.

Some of the staff were good to work with, others less so. They didn't have the unit I'd reserved ready when i arrived, so gave me another unit. All the units were dark and small, and the hours aren't convenient. While some of the staff is friendly, the one who rented me a van had a sticker that said "owner" on his nametag and was the least helpful and competent of the staff.

I cleared my storage on the 3rd of August. Spoke to an employee and informed him we moved out of our space. He said take pictures and they'll take care of the rest. They didn't close out my space and I was sent a upcoming payment notice. It took 45 minutes on the phone to resolve their mostake.

My unit had ants, i was once locked inside the facility for over an hour because they locked up early and no one bothered to check if anyone was still there not to mention that there is no way to reach the actual facility by phone when you call the listed number it gives you the 800 number and you can be on hold indefinitely, and the parking lot is always covered in broken glass and litter. It is poorly managed but the staff was always friendly just not very helpful. I had an outdoor unit and 2 uboxes there. I requested access to my 2 uboxes and was told to deal directly with the GM, i gave 2 days notice and the boxes weren't put out until 1 pm and i wasted money and time renting a trailer and when i came to get a couple essentials with my car they had put the units away even though i let the GM know i would be back before close to access them. This location is a mess.

I had to throw away some items that got mildew on them from the unit's floor. The lights didn't stay on continuously.; only when someone walked up and down the aisle. The location was a poorly planned facility. I'm relieved to be rout of that facility.

Chose above average because when I called the number for the facility, I would get a call center and they were never able to transfer me to the actual store. They would always say they'll send a message to call me back. They would never call me back. Only time they did was when I'd pay my rent late since no one could help with changing my due date or extend the due date to avoid the late fees. So I paid the $27 late fee every month for almost a year. Other than that, I love this facility and the staff! Call center needs some customer service training and more access to assist with accounts tho...

There was diabetic hypodermic tips in our unit from a previous renter. All they said when I brought them to the front desk was, "Thank you." Come on, there were needles left in there from someone else.

The mgr (David) and his staff are most helpful, especially in the context of college students needing support during all the unexpected move-out and move-in variations withto covid. They are very customer focused, which is hard to find these days. The only request would be to have the local number posted and more available. The 800 number helps with most basic scheduling, but when I as a customer need something more specific and need to talk with the local office, it was impossible to find a phone number that I could call directly. I do appreciate how the mgr responded to my requests, but it would be perfect if local office numbers were more accessible.

From the moment we got the Storage Unit it should have been 1 month free. Instead it was charged and we got emails, phone, and text alerts saying we owed a bill. We went to storage unit but not even a week after just getting the storage unit we had not slip and lock on our storage unit! Unacceptable.. We go into office to the very people who just gave us the unit and they remember us and so they didn't have answers as to why it happened and how it was someone else fault and no ownership taken. Very bad experience with this process!

This is my second time renting from this facility, the staff is so helpful and friendly. I love their indoor facility with climate control, main reason why I choose them over other storage facilities. They also give you the first months rent free and if you ever need to upsize Or down size they have a great selection to do so.
