Since, apparently, it is a common problem for the line that connects the nozzle to the gas tank to be cut, you NEED to check it on EVERY vehicle BEFORE renting it to a customer.Dane G.

The first truck we got leaked fuel all over the gas station when we filled it up the first time. The U-Haul people immediately got us a new truck that was in perfect condition and that make our 1,000 mile journey with no problems at all. I am very happy. They rent all their trucks with NO gas. The light is on and you have to drive it immediately to a gas station. They they offer $ if your return it with 1/4 tank. What are they doing with the gas that is returned in trucks? This is also the place where our catalytic converter was stolen but they claimed non of their security cameras were working and then said that the owner replaces them for a fee. What? This place used to be our go to. Now we only rent from there if we absolutely have to. Their business practices seem shady.RANDALL L.

This rental was the worst experience I have ever had. You people do not talk to one another so nobody knows who is n first and who is on second. We were notified NO TRUCK ready even after we ordered 3 weeks in advance, then truck is ready. You people need to go to U-Haul school. Next time Penske is our choice never U-Haul.JAMES B.

Everyone was extremely helpful and professional I have never used public storage before and I was a little apprehensive about the whole thing. My unit is convenient and very fairly priced. I am very happy I chose Garey Rental and StoragePatricia V. | First Impressions
Take the customer out to the truck and do a check of condition & also check fuel level. We were told the fuel level was a half a tank & it was more like 1/4. We had to go & find the truck ourselves & it was dirty and still had the sign in the front window saying Rent Me. Our 15ft truck looked like a 10ft & the 10ftr locked like it was an 8ftr. We could hardly fit my things from my sm 1 bdrm apt in there to make one trip. We had to put the xtra in my grandson's pickup & pay him gas money.JEAN W.

Customer service at this store was great. The customer service I received when I called in was sub par. My 24/7 reservation that was to be picked up at 7am was canceled and I received no email informing me so, needless to say I was very surprised when I showed up to pick up my 20' truck. When I called customer service and no one could explain to me why it had be canceled. After talking to multiple people and being transferred to closed stores I was only told "I can do nothing for you, you'll just have to wait until the store opens at 9." Again thankfully the store it self I great customer service and went out of there way to help me.AMY D.

Service is slow and the employees do not recognize your presence. When I returned the truck I stood at the return lane for 10 minutes, 2 employees saw me 1 was helping a customer the other just walked past me. Neither said we will be with or someone is coming. I had to leave the truck and walk inside and request help to return the truck. Two employees were inside behind the counter. no customers waiting and seemed annoyed that I asked for help. I continue to come here because it is so close to my home but not the best in customer service. I will calling them today to see why I am being charged $6.86 two days after i returned the truck and was emailed my final receipt.LISA M.

Firstly staff must learn to write clients names correctly! My first name is Jonathan but not Jonathon as is displayed here! I am disabled senile customer in a wheelchair Secondly, The Behavior of a staff member at the N Garey location named Karl was insolent n displayed gross insurbodination n should be removed from performing such essential customer services like that for U-Haul Customers! N should be terminated immediately To me his behavior poses a great liability to the company! Thirdly, I rented the U-Haul truck one way from Bakersfield California to Montclair San Bernardino County n to be dropped off at the North Garey location in Pomona n qualify for a month's free storage facility at the same location After a lot of unnecessary wrangling with Karl the truck was dropped off I arrived home n noticed that my American Express Card was charged $65.00 I called U/Haul to find out what the charges of $65.00 was for? Initially I was told it was for gas! Attempt was made the day before with the tank fully filled n Karl rejected the drop off! What is the charge of $65.00 for? This case is filed for dispute Slready my credit card had been charged $181.00 plus for the trip Bakerfield to Montclair California Please stop charging my credit card unnecessary because it is In your possession I will prefer monthly bills sent to me for settlement I am very disappointed in U/Haul n will never refer anyone to u! Set a reservation but when I showed up at the time of reservation I was not able to pick up the vehicle. Scott (manager of the region) was holding the keys for a customer who wasn't there. Since I had a reservation, I feel that he should have gave the truck to me instead of holding it for someone else and making me wait two hours. Horrible customer service by him. He mentioned that he was the regional manager and has more authority over the other staff who tried to help and understood that a reservation should be honored over a person calling in last minute and giving them the rental.
