My unit leaked. I reported it by phone months ago. They assured me it would be taken care of. When I went back to the storage unit yesterday the leak was still there and my belonging Now had mold and water stains and furniture was damaged. Ended up putting it all in the donate section ( mattress and box spring, fabric lawn chairs and a old wooden desk). Water damage and mold. Awful. Maintain your roof better. I stored these thing for over two years at 180.70 a month and I lost it all. Wasted my money for what?? Very disappointing

The location was great! The customer service was great! The computer system was slow at your facility, so getting in and out quickly was challenging but to no fault of your staff. My only complaint is that my truck was infested with ants, inside the dashboard. I did not discover this until I was at my moving location.

Checking in, the female employee was extremely helpful, polite and made the process seamless. HOWEVER, the guy that delivered the truck had his mask below his nose, he drove the truck over to us and once he got out I asked if he would sanitize it and he stated it was sanitized once it was returned from previous customer. That does not make it sanitized after he exited it with his bare hands. .

Person checking me in drove the vehicle without a mask (should wear mask due to COVID 19,). He told me I got 5 pads free, I was charged for them. I took advice of personnel to use moving help.com. Worse experience in 25 years with A1 Moving. Rich (tukiboston90@gmail.com phone 941-448-6601) agreed to do 2 trips due to Uhaul personnel gave me wrong size truck. I asked Rich if he had time to do 2nd load before 6 hours-He agreed. I told him if he didn't have time to let me know and I would get a truck and another crew on another day. He agreed to do it for $50.00. He loaded truck, then told me he couldn't unload leaving me stranded.@5:00pm in new town where I didn't know anyone due him needing to unload another job which he never told me he had. I am 56 yrs old woman with permanent back injury which Rich was completely award of. When I asked how I was going to get 15ft truck unloaded, he said he could do it on another day or he would text other team to see if they could finish job. Never responded. Kept harassing me@payment code. Leaving a woman “Stranded at night with a back injury and not finishing the job” With absolutely NO RESOLUTION to Finish the job is not only unacceptable, unprofessional and physically UNSAFE putting me in HARM's WAY, it is downright Cruel especially when he knew I had no option to unload truck full of furniture, and had a back injury!!!This is the first time using MovingHelp only at the recommendation of UHaul. Will never use it again!!! A1 Moving should be taken off the list of movers on the site due to their horrible service.

1) The option of clean and well maintained is too broad and two different subjects. 2) I chose to use my phone to pick up the van. Bad idea. 3) The van was blocked in 4) The van was covered in road grime, making it difficult to identify problems 5) I took time to enter all pertinent info on home computer the day before. Once I arrived I had to enter most of the info again. 6) I received a message stating I was pending approval? Approval granted. Good. My ride just dropped me off. 7) I was finally directed to go to the key box. I walked all the way to the building (wondering why I used the app by now) to unlock the box. The lock was difficult to open. Very difficult. Once opened there was no key in the box. Now I am in the lobby asking for my key. 8) Although I told someone through the app that I was blocked in, I had to ask someone to help me with that. 9) I inspected the van, took pics. When I took the pics of fuel and mileage I realized the front windshield was filthy and the seats were covered in crumbs. Couldn't add more pics to the app. Reached my limit. 10) The hood was not closed completely 11) The pick-up experience took about 25 minutes. My rental should start when I drive away, not when I set the appointment. 12) The van was great. I handled my business then returned it. The return process was fast and easy. The two most disappointing issues were the pick-up process is not quick and easy with the app and the dirty windshield. Windshields are never given the proper priority. We use it 100% of the time while driving. This is the best location I have ever used, and I have used them a lot either with mine or my wifes account. The fact that I typed so many comments is not a testament to how bad it was. I just include a lot of important details that are very easy to fix.

I've been using Uhaul for 40 years. Now there is too much responsibility for the renter to use mobile phone technology. I dropped off my truck after hours. I attempted to use the “return my truck” link on the site. I received no confirmation. I tried again at home, just five minutes away. Still no confirmation. I wrote to the GM on the link after I received my final bill online to explain why I didn't think it was fair for the $20 “after hours charge”. As of this writing I have not received a response. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Lady behind the counter (African American, older) was very rude. Waited on line for a few minutes while she was chatting away. Could tell was personal chit chat and not work related. Do you train these guys on customer service. All personal chat should be left for personal breaks and a paying customer should never be left there waiting. Her service was poor anyways. You can tell she hates her job...but here she is behind a counter representing the Uhaul Brand. Sad.

Pick up was easy, people at the desk were pleasant. However I dropped my truck off at 2pm, 5 hours before closing on the day it was due. I waited for 15 minutes outside for someone to help me check back in and when they finally came around, they said I was good to leave and they would take care of it. I did so, but was later given a bill for a late check in, supposedly 9am the following day, NINETEEN hours after I dropped it off. I called to have it fixed and Duane was pleasant and response, but gave a flat refund for the fee, but did not refund the tax on the fee. Will not use this location again, clearly someone is not doing their job

I did my reservation online on my phone and did all the data entry the day before. When I got there the lady told me to find my own reservation and finish the rental. I could not get it to work so she then sent me a text. Then I was able to finish. Don't understand why she just didn't just text it to me and why did I have to do this now ...could have done it at the time of reservation I then canceled the insurance coverage but of course she charged me for it anyways

Repersenative need to tell customer they have a 24 hr turn around with uhaul... They need to stop telling customer how many hrs they will hold the uhaul... Implement routine PM services on vehicles and trailers. Train customer service more extensively on dealing with customer matters. Initiate follow ups during incident and after return he occurred. The vehicle I rented had half a tank of gas when I took it out. When I started refilling the vehicle to return it, the gas meter was not working. As a result, I ended up putting at least a quarter tank of gas in the vehicle I did not need to. Vehicles should always either be rented with only a full tank of gas or make sure the gas meter is accurate and working......

I would recommend they get their own insurance, which U Haul requires. At first, I had the U Haul insurance. There was a roof leak and a bunch of my stuff got ruined. This was on a Sunday.. When I tried to make a claim with RepWest, U Haul's insurance carrier, they would not pay me because there were no photos of the damage. At the time of the damage, when I went to the clerk in the office, she didn't know what to do and suggested I wait and speak with the manager the following day--he didn't know what to do either. If you require insurance, you should do your job when there is a loss.

If I could give less than 0 stars I would, absolutely horrible customer service. I have called 3 times and still have no response, I keep getting told the manager will call me. I rented the storage unit 2 weeks ago, I’m already having major issues since day 1. I called for the 3rd time today, the customer service representative laughed at me. I find that extremely unprofessional, I am not sure what they look for in the employees. During these uncertain times, with unemployment being so high I am sure there are better applicants to hire. Supposedly the calls are recorded so I would really hope they would review the call and make it a coaching opportunity. I am still waiting for the general manager Todd Rarick to contact me. I work in financial sales, and understand the value of great customer service which this company lacks. I would never recommend anyone to rent from this facility. This has truly been a disaster. I rather pay more money and rent somewhere else.

This was my sister’s storage. There were a lot of things I needed to throw away. They told me it was going to cost me $10 to throw that stuff away. Ok. Acceptable. Then they told me I had to bag it up! Ok, still acceptable. THEN they told me it was going to cost me $10 PER BAG!! UNACCEPTABLE! That was the only thing I didn’t like! I got rid of the storage unit simply because I don’t need it. I’m going to be throwing away a lot of it. I have to do it at home.

Many new storage facilities have opened in and around the U-Haul location and at a much much lower cost. The U-Haul facility is old and dirty and very expensive and you just raised rates.
