The staff was great and the facility was clean. My husband is active duty military so we had our items in storage for almost 2 years. We were preparing to remove our items for our move and noticed there we water marks on our boxes. We noticed there was a leak and it was apparent that it had been leaking for a while. The boxes were dry and had some spots on them. The plastic totes had orange rusts spots and calcium build up. We took some of the totes down and there was a water puddle that spilled over us. We had notified the staff and they placed a tarp over the unit. We notified them May 27th and we returned June 1st and noticed there were puddles forming in the tarp. There were 4 puddle spots. We did file a claim. Other than the leak, everything else was great.

Joseph W.Well I rented a trailer for a day, the facility pressured me to rent for less than a day, only 3:30. So I returned the equipment well before the “required†time. I then got a call at early in the morning asking why I haven't returned the equipment. I responded that I did already and it was a failure of your process or system. While this was a smaller interruption of my life, I'd like to avoid being accused of harboring illegal equipment at such an early hour of the morning. I certainly would like a nice apology and discount on a future use to make up for this inconvenience. Gracias.

Erin L.When I arrived, I was having difficulty with the online rental process. I tried for 20 minutes or so before I decided to go inside and ask for help. When I went into the store to ask for assistance, the staff were rude, told me they were "closed" (20 minutes before the posted closing time), and I'd have to wait outside and keep trying the online process. I asked to speak with the manager, and I was informed that the person that I initially spoke with who told me to go wait outside WAS the manger! Unbelievable I have rented from U-Haul many, many times in my life and especially from this location. May never do so again!

Anthony C.I was very unimpressed with my experience. The customer service representative was not friendly at all. Also on top of that before I left the parking lot there was service lights on , on the trucks dashboard I asked one of the associates what it means they said it wasn't a big deal it was a malfunction. So during the time I had the truck the battery completely gave out in the truck . I was stuck in a parking lot for over 3 hours waiting for the road assistance to arrive & switch out the battery . On top of that I got an additional $276 charged to my account from the facility . It was completely unprofessional and I was not satisfied with the experience what so ever .
diamond M.Employees are lazy and disrespectful. The rental desk girls were more interested in ordering a sandwich on their phone than helping customers. When a trailer light was inoperative they told me the problem was my truck and they couldn't rent to me. When I insisted we try another trailer they were huffy and disrespectful. I persisted and we did try another trailer, but the lineman just stood back and watched as I did All the work. What do you know, the lights worked! Then they insisted to upcharge me as this was a larger trailer. I had to appeal to the GM to comp the difference since their first trailer wasn't roadworthy. I'll go elsewhere or do without in the future and advise all friends to do the same.

Windshield was very dirty. Would not come off with fluid and wipers. Needed deep cleaning. When I returned the truck the two guys on shift were over using their phones. I waited 5 minutes, opened and closed doors of the truck to get their attention, and then I went over to get them to help.

Danniel F.Rented a storage unit at Air Force base. Upon arrival I was told I can't do anything at this location. Need to go to second location to obtain access. Go to second location and advised me they have no lock for the storage unit and I'll need to go buy one at a store. Go buy a lock and while driving the 10'box truck I also rented from U-Haul , noticed no sun visor on the driver side while driving in the Sunshine state. After loading the box truck I drive to storage location. The gate wasn't working and seeing it was after 7pm, U-Haul rep on the phone said there was nothing he could do. Had to wait till the next morning to unload truck at storage unit because nobody from U-Haul can open the gate for me. Arrive at storage unit next morning and the guy working on the gate lets me in. Get to storage unit and upon opening the door, there's a brand new lock on the floor. Apparently, I didn't need to go buy a lock and the two locations obviously don't talk to each other, which is ridiculous because you cant rent the unit without dealing with the other site.
William M.The employees were very friendly, positive, and professional! However, we rented a 15-foot truck and had to retake every photo of it. The photos in the app for mobile pickup made the truck look like it was brand new but the truck looked like it had been through multiple accidents, had really bad scratches and peeling paint / decals, and the front bumper and a headlight were cracked. The truck also didn't drive straight and was difficult to get started a few times. We've rented from this location before and have always had great experiences but this truck was not one of them.
Alexandra D.reservation was handled well, but when i picked up the vehicle it was dirty inside and out. noting had been cleaned for the next customer. i would expect a minimum cleaning, although even the inside of the windshield was a mess from something spilled from previous customer. additionally, the staff wasn't very helpful when i needed the hitch removed from the truck. made plenty of excuses why not to assist. finally, i had to tell them how the handle the issue.

Took 25 minutes from arriving to talking to someone behind the counter. I told the person when I got up there I was in a hurry and the guy was still talking to one of his coworkers. I asked why I had to take pictures of my license again and he said because online check in doesn't really work. Anyway, won't use this location again - too slow and not enough people behind the counter. Also would be nice if the van wasn't so dirty

Got charged for gas when I put more in than what it showed on the dash when I picked it up (pictures to confirm) offered less than the extra fees as a way to solve the issue.. not happy at all.. almost forgot the brakes were terrible on the truck as well

karla h. | Overall ExperienceSo when I dropped the truck off, I followed the instructions exactly as per the app. I chose to pickup and drop off via virtual instruction and not with the in person staff. I put gas in the truck, parked it, took the photos, everything the app required. Until it came to dropping the keys in the box. A young man that worked in the store walked past so I asked if he could instruct me where the drop off box was. He was annoyed and said, well you need to move the truck to a different area. I explained that I used the app and took the photos and according to the app the truck was returned and if I moved it, it would no longer match the photo I submitted to show where it was parked. He interrupted and said, and I quote, “fuck the app, we want to check the truck in over thereâ€. I would hope he doesn't use that language with all of your customers. I certainly didn't deserve it.
Alicia Z.Poor experience. There seemed to be an inward facing dialogue where employees were frustrated with each other, it lacked professionalism. Worse though is the feeling you're interrupting people to ask them to do their jobs. A lack of communication overall, I found myself in a hurry to get hooked up, and given wrong or incomplete directions more than once. Other times I was completely unattended and felt that people were just looking to wander off and hide from helping me. When the establishment lacks good and clear signage, and I am wondering where to park and what to do, people need to be trained NOT to say 'you can't park there' without pointing out that there is a lack of signage. It felt frustrating to wander around and struggle.

Rental at about 5:00 was horrible young black girl saying no we don't have any ! I must have mention 5 time I'm going right there you can see the house from here! It was 6:41 and the young black guy said I'm closing this door( the wide ones, understand we just got the truck we were back quickly it was 6:41 PM. He told us we had to go to the other door. There's no way to go to the other door with the heavy duty table. My daughter mention it's 641 and you're closing now he said yes for the third or fourth time I said, do you see we only have a few more items including the table, my daughter screamed because I picked up the table in a hurry and broke it. We took our time getting it in there patiently he hurried us, so bad upset us so bad, the table broke we have insurance and expecting either U-Haul or the insurance to pay for the table , we put the broken table in the storage unit. The storage unit door would not hold up itself. We had trouble in the beginning to slide the metal to open the door again we had trouble when we open the storage unit the metal piece had to slide the broken table is in the storage unit on top of that we noticed that it wasn't a 24 hour rental having us clock out at before 11 pm aweful experience

I specifically set up my credit card for auto billing to avoid forgetting payments and incurring a late fee. They had a problem charging my card 2 months after I set it up and they charged me a $15 late fee. They did'nt even call, text or try to email me before charging me. They're relying on your late fees. They would'nt credit me. I terminated my account with 25 days remaining before the next billing and they would'nt pro-rate me a refund. They STOLE over $160 from me. The person dealing with was very smug and had the attitude of "Take it or leave it". Well I took it alright. I took my business to Life Storage. Same size unit for $50 less. Do yourself a favor stay as far away from U-haul as possible. They also raised they're rates twice this year without giving notice. Shady, Greedy and dispicable!

I was advised by another customer on how to access the building. The second issue was that the 3 doors that are used to drive in and load/unload have cars parked in front of the doors and the one door that was available was being used by one of the employees who parked inside and was actually sleeping in her car. Only two of the three doors were actually functional and again had vehicles parked in front of them and not inside where you would load/unload.
