The workers here are absolutely horrible they don't know anything about anything that's going on. Not transparent at all about what they're charging you and if you ask them a question they'll just agree with anything you say. Not happy at all and will not be using this location ever again.

Nicole S.I reserved a 10 foot truck, they called me to let me know that that size wasn't available but they have a 15 and he would give it to me for the same price. Once I get to the place the guy didn't even walk me out to the truck just pointed to which one was mine, in a lot full of the same truck. He said the key number would match the number on the truck. I didn't see the numbers at first so I started the truck and it started with the key so I assumed it was mine. I hired movers for two hours and of course my time starts when they arrive to me. Once we began trying to load the truck we noticed it was a lock on it. We had to drive all the way back to the UHUAL place just for us to be told that we took the wrong truck. I had no assistance with finding the truck for one, and if I took the wrong truck why did the key start it? TWICE, not to mention I was waiting on the guy to come out the bathroom for a whole 10-12 min while I was on a time schedule. By the time I got back to my movers, I had about an hour of moving time which we had to rush. Once i brought the truck back at the end of the night, the crew there(different from morning) were so unprofessional using profanity & foul language with me inside. I expressed how much of an inconvenience this whole ordeal has been to me and he didn't seem bothered by it. The checking out process took another 20 min saying the internet was not connecting. I informed the employee that the numbers on the keys does not match the numbers on the truck. He seem surprised but brushed it off immediately after. After finally getting my check out receipt i notice that I was charged $29.95 for the truck instead of the $19.95 I was originally told. Then had to wait another ten minutes for the mistake to get corrected. He said he credited my account the difference but I did not get a receipt not prove it. I always use the location on Milam here in Beaumont and never have any issues especially to this extent. I will never use this location again and this whole thing made my moving experience more difficult than it had to be. I would have like to have been offered some type of discount for the experience but never even got a care in the world.

Stephen B.I needed to rent dollies and there were none available even though I had reserved them. I wasn't informed until I got there. Equipment was clean but not well maintained. It rained and “Moms attic†leaked. The truck was loud with an exhaust leak and the cabin filled with exhaust fumes. Seemed like it has front end issues. Overall not a good truck.

Tisha H.The girl who worked there had her child there and was distracted when I picked up the trailer. She did not understand how the rates worked and I had to explain it to her which seemed odd. When I dropped it off the next day I sat waiting in my car in the return area for 5-10 minutes before going inside to get her attention.(it was the same girl from when I picked up the trailer). She was on her phone and had not been paying attention to customers waiting in the return area. She told me the return area was not the right area for returns (what?!) and asked that I back up the trailer. I told her no I would not back it up because I did not want to hit anything. I then had to pull around the parking lot and HELP her get the trailer off. I would not use this location again in the future.
Lauren B.The roaches and other pest were overwhelming to me. I rent storage yearly! I suggest you guys get some boric acid in there to kill those pests. They come out in the daylight that's something. I had some other bad experiences which I have shared each time with you. My honest opion is that I should have been compensated for some of what I went through. I finally left because after my stuff got wet ( your ceiling needs fixing, anyone can see that)., I moved to another storage I was charged a higher price than my previous one after I specifically asked that I be out in one the same price. I can say that the manager was always kind when I spoke with him. I'm not going to continue on with anything bad. Things need to change though. People look for resolutions not I'm sorry. On a good note, that young lady who helped us yesterday was amazing!!! I watched her as she did her work she just was so wiling and happy to do it. She was so nice her customer service surpasses any I have seen in recent years! Because of her I have hope for uhaul. She has a joy as she works she was cleaning out the trailer and I could see her joy! Lance the physical place needs work! I do appreciate your kindness. Below average because of the facilities!!!

Basically the whole storage unit had molded and mildewed. Although I bought all kinds of DampRid moisture observer that was recommended buy A AHaul manager who assist assisted me. I tool out an insurance policy that also was also recommended by the same UHual manager! Bad part about it! USUALLY said they are not responsible for the damages on all the items in the storage! Wtf! How sorry of an establishment! I WILL #NEVER TELL NOR REFER ANYONE TO UHaul! I am hiring my lawyer on this one! Bet that!

I made a reservation at your Milam and eastern location 2 weeks before move and went to confirm, they had no units available in the 10x25. Did another reservation through corporate offices, went there this past Saturday and no reservation for me, even though both reservations were confirmed with a reservation number. Last minute I had to rent 2 units at the eastex location. The experienced was horrible. The Milam st location needs some serious help both in staff, attitude and organization. The Eastex location were wonderful. Took them only about 15 minutes to get me the units.

The gentleman told me no, even though I did move out early. Storage was paid until the 31st and I moved out on the 8th with a clean storage. Not satisfied about the storage not honoring its word.

I suppose from the force of that building my things that were inside on top were jolted and the microwave came down on my leg. When I lifted the door a few things came down. Not only did I get countless late fees added to my account even though they told me every month they would move my payments to the first, and the employees were rude every single time I tried to speak with them, but we also now have roaches in all of our moving boxes. On top of that, I paid and cancelled my storage June 1st and was given until the end of the month to get my stuff, but They put a lock on my storage and tried saying I couldn't get my stuff until I paid for July 1st. The only thing that saved Uhaul's reputation for me was the corporate customer service that helped me get my money back and were so kind to me, and dedicated to help my experience be better.
