From the front counter to the guy who hooked up the trailer, everything about this rental was great for me. The trailer they recommended was perfect for the job ( local move of a really big and heavy desk) and the trailer itself was in good condition and easy to tow with my Sierra. overall, very good move for me.JAMES L.
Please ensure the passenger side rear view mirror is tightened. I stopped several times to readjust it, but it repeatedly vibrated to a position that didnt view the right side of the van and in fact pointed off into never never land.Jon R.

When I rent at Home Depot I always ask them what they will sell the used equipment for because they charge so much for rentals that it is a worthwhile comparison, buy vs rent. I consider U-haul local rentals to be one of the best deals I have ever seen. Its just good equipment at a reasonable price. I would have to rent for 6 hours 200 times to be at break even with purchasing a used equivalent.RICHARD T.

I reserved a truck 1 month prior to my move date of Nov.6 but there was no truck there for me. I spoke with Niah in the New Orleans transportation department and she found a truck available for me the next day Nov. 7th. She was very helpful but I was very disappointed that a truck wasn't available on the date I requested since I made the reservation far enough in advance.JOSEPH B.

Provide the actual vehicle that was reserved. I rented a 10' truck. The sister bumped me down to a van. That would not work. After much begging and pleading, they were able to rent me a pick-up truck. There were two 20' trucks on the lot. I was told those were rented. When I brought the vehicle back, those same trucks were still there on the lot. I was not happy. This change caused me much stress.ANA T.

The staff member who rented me the van had a bad attitude or didnt seem that she was interested in helping, the van was dirty on the inside, and the windshield was dirtyJOHN G.
Everyone at this location was very nice and helpful. However I cannot say the same if most of your traffic staff and management. On Friday, I called traffic to move my reservation up a day. I was told it was handled. On Sturday, I was a little behind calling the Causeway location to let them know when I was told my truck and car transport were in Picayune MS - an hour away. When I said this was not acceptable, U was directed to the 800 # where things went downhill. Your people were rude and completely uncaring of the mess made to my moving schedule by not having a truck at the reservation location and no communication that was the case. I asked for a truck to be delivered and was told you don't do that and I should have left my reservation on Sunday because there were no closer trucks on either day. The common denominator seemed to be to blame me for making an online reservation. But remember I spoke with a person in traffic the day prior who never said a word about a different pickup and my reservation in my account still indicated this location. I called this location to move my car transport back to it and made a plan for someone to drive me two hours round trip to get the truck in Picayune. When I called the 800 # to find the correct location in Picayune, I was told my truck was canceled. This agent was super nice letting me know she could reserve a truck at this location for me on Sunday with a 10 am pickup. The agents at this location were very accommodating to allow me to pickup the car transport on another day. All of the changes that had to be made to my scheduled moving help cost me an extra $200 which I think UHaul should cover as a credit back to me on my rental.Debbie M.

I was called and told that they did not have a vehicle for me the day before I was to pick it up after having made the reservation 4 days prior. They said there were no vehicles at all in my area and they couldn't help me. I was not very happy as I had this rental for 3 days for work. I let them know I was extremely un happy that they let me know at the last minute and should have let me know when I made the reservation. Now I was going to be in a real jam! Miraculously about 2 hours later, I got an email saying they had a vehicle for me now. While I am thankful, this is not a good practice!EMILY S.
