The best service at this full service Uhaul location. Very professional, polite, worked to find a solution when our new car’s plug wouldn’t accept the regular plug we had bought. We hadn’t tried to use the trailer hitch before this, and thought it would be the same as our previous car of the same model. It wasn’t. They worked until they could get us going.

Placed a 24/7 Truck Share reservation so I could pick up via mobile phone at 7am. Upon arrival, the website informed me that I would have to wait until the store opened at 9am to get a truck as one had not been left for me. I spent 45 minutes on the phone and was apssed around to 4 different representatives. Their resolution was that I would need to return at 9am because they could not help me. When I returned at 9am there was only 1 person working at the counter and he had a line of 6 people. The other employee that was working outside told us that we needed to move our vehicle because the lot was too crowded. There was no where else to park and when we stated this he said "Fuck it. Whatever." Worst experience. Will not use for any future moving needs.

My only complaint is that the auto transport straps were worn/not able to hold taughtness. I arrived at my destination and the straps had completely come off my cars tires. I even paid for the assistance of having my car put onto the trailer. If not for the chains, my car couldn't have completely come off the trailer during my drive.

I dropped off my trailer 12 minutes after the time due and they said I owed for 2 days on the rental. I have been renting with you for 13 years since college and never had an issue. James the Manager remarked they took that "button" away from us to return a trailer on time. I would like to make sure no one else had this unreasonable issue. So please give me a call and let me know if this policy really been changed or if it was just the manager. Thanks!

Lock box code didn't work. Went inside for help. Lady behind counter was not interested in helping. She asked me what code I had for bottom box. I said 335. She said that was the code & to go try again. Guy lounging in chair on the side said the code is 235. She said it's 335. He said it's 235. She said 'go try that.' 235 worked. She had zero customer service skills or desire to help. good luck with her.

Work done appears very good and thorough. Time schedule was terrible. Reserved time for 9:00 am 6-11-19 on U-Haul website. Arrived about 8:55 am to find another car in hitch receiver install bay, plus manager said he had my reservation at 9:45 am same day. I showed him my email from U-Haul saying I pre-paid for the installation and that my appt was for 9:00 am. He shrugged and said that was internet schedule, not his schedule. U-Haul did not start work on my car until 10:30 am, and did not finish till after 1:00 PM. The website said the install would take about 1 hour. Install started 2.5 hours late, and took 1.5 hours longer than the website description. I missed two appts due to lousy time schedule or accurate estimation of when car would be ready. This is the third hitch receiver I have had installed at this U-Haul location, and the longest I have waited to have it completed. Manager did give me a discount of ~20% for the reservation problem and late completion. Thank you. For others, take the reservation time and estimated work time with "a grain of salt".

I returned the vehicle with exactly the amount of gas it had when I picked it up only to be charged $10.80 for gas after I had left. If they believed there was a discrepancy on the gas they could have said something considering there’s a gas station right next door that I could have paid a fraction of the cost for the fuel.

great job limited u- haul tools to work with, due to time of month andnot reserving. the sales perrson i had was exceptional didn't have 10 ft or 15 ft that I wanted to rent but ,was shown the cargo van and explained the mostefficient way to complete my job. Everyone was busting their hump at that location at 9-9;30 from the sales people to the guys loading the trailers. THANKS

Called to extend my rental for a day. Was told that the truck was already booked to go out the following morning. Got online to book another truck and the same size truck was available at 7am the following morning. Booked it. Get to the lot today and my reservation has been changed to 10am. They bring the truck around and it's the same exact truck I used the previous day. Why did I have to bring the truck back at all?

This location is highly disorganized and staffed by people that could not care less about good customer service. On the return of the trailer, the lot guy was downright rude and disrespectful.

It was very inconvient to be forced to return our rental 2 weeks into a month rental. The truck was evidently scheduled to be sold at auction during the time of our rental agreement. Perhaps this should have been anticipated and a truck provided to us that was available for the entire duration of our rental period.

The location is fine, the after hours mobile pick up process was the worst experience ever. it took me an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting in the street to get the truck. And the only reason I got the key was because I spent 45 minutes on the phone with an agent I called to help because the mobile chat agent and web system completely failed- IT DID NOT WORK. I still haven't been called back to resolve my complaint filed either. 504-756-9411

i was charged for 2 days instead of 1. I picked up the uhaul at 9am on 04-28-2019. I returned it at 630 pm on 04-28-2019. They also charged me for gas, which i returned the vehicle with more then picked it up with.

There was confusion here also as in Little River I was informed that I could bring the truck back at any location near me in New Orleans. Apparently that is not the case. So bringing the truck back took much longer then it should have. Another confusion was that I made the reservation of the truck in my name in little river and used my credit card. When I got to New Orleans they could not find it. After some digging they found the contract in name of my wife who had never ever rented a UHaul. So how she got on the contract is a mystery. To top off the confusion, my wife went to pick up 3 extra packs of blankets and used her name and credit card. Upon returning them to the location in New Orleans they had put that contract in my name.

you need to be more clear on the purchase options. as an infrequent customer i did not know the difference between in-town and one way and was told i would save money one way over the other and it turned out not to be the case. you need more competent customer service representatives that can clearly explain the costs rather than just trying to push through customers by assuming they are too ignorant to understand the difference. the truck return policy is lso very frustrating. its borderline stupid to be calling a customer service line and they have to tell me to hang up with them and be forced to use an app to return the truck. i assume this is do to the location being a major corporate uhaul location rather than a 3rd party vendor. make no mistake that i will be doing everything in power to avoid doing business with uhaul in the future for my moving and storage needs. i also intend to let everyone i know about the experience i had at your location. thanks.

Getting in the driveway was very bad I was scared to get hit because I was sitting on the main highway. Poor customer service, lazy to even check that i returned the trailer they called me to ask about it when I had returned night before then I told them to call me back to let me know everything was there, never called me back to even let me know.

Make sure you get the customers drivers license info correct. My drivers license is Texas, not Louisiana. Also make sure you put the correct rental information on the contract. My contract had an entirely different trailer listed. Number and license plate did not match.

Check these trucks do maintenance work they told me I had a new truck and everytime I stopped the truck would restart itself the mileage was going up then went down the gas was not filling up I put 18 bucks to get it from a quarter tank to the half mark I should not have had to do that it was a very bad and expensive experience.

Overall customer service was poor. We sat in our vehicle for almost 30 minutes waiting for instructions/ someone to attend to us. Then we were rudely pointed in a vague direction to pull our vehicle to. Then we waited another 10 minutes before someone unhooked our trailer. The young African-American male with braces was AWESOME and went into the office to get my receipt for me when I requested he do so. Other than that young man, the others were rude.

Received email that guaranteed a 10' truck; upon arrival we were told they did not have a 10' truck for us. After several phone calls to management, they suddenly produced a 10' truck and let us have it.

I am so glad Lloyd is at this location. He is the nicest person and the friendliest person there. This location used to be very efficient and VERY friendly people. It is still very efficient, but some of the employees here could put a smile on their face. A couple were not very friendly.

I signed in on the internet. When I arrived it took about 10 minutes to confirm all my information. The trailer hook-up took about 10 minutes and I was on my way. On my return, I pulled into the U-Haul lot and immediately a U-Haul agent came walking out and disconnected the trailer and processed my return. In ten minutes I was driving Home.

Please take careful time to review the contract to verify that it is being fulfilled instead of tacking on charges that are exempted in the contract. Shorter staff need to take their headphones out whilst working to effectively communicate and perform their job functions.

The employee who managed my reservation was so apathetic. She couldn’t provide proper details about the truck she told me I apparently reserved versus the one I actually wanted. She was too lazy to change the reservation. Also, she wouldn’t sell me merchandise in the store due to an inventory error on the computer. She would not call a manager to assist with this error. Completely unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Will go with Penske from now on.

I use this location every time I need a truck and while I think sending the new link is a great idea because I was able to send pictures to you, no one said by clicking that I was confirming the gas. When I got in the truck I looked at it as I always do and it was on 3/4 of a tank. I stopped and put $7 of gas in it and we probably only went a total of 6 miles but I woke up yesterday and there was a $12 charge on my account for gas. The lady should've had advised me that the new system you are using confirms the gas also because the paper was even wrong and I didn't look at it until yesterday because I'm honest and I always put gas back in the truck or any time I rent a car. She was very rude and kept saying well you confirmed it, you confirmed it then she hung up on me. And to make it worse I dropped the truck off ad an hour later I got a phone of them asking me when I planned to bring it back. I told them they better go look outside because I dropped it off a long time go. They had the doors locked and no one was there to greet me to take the truck back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Connect what the office is doing with what is being done on the app. There was a disconnect. Once I figured out what needed to be done in the app, the office had already rented out the van that the app was telling me to use. Allow the app user to enter the pictures of the driver's license BEFORE they get to the U-Haul location. That was a frustrating experience not being able to do some of the basic, up-front information entry before I got there. BTW, the fellow on the lot that took our van back after we were done was extremely helpful and friendly. He is a major customer service asset. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name.

Another associate told her to put the customer on the phone on hold and finish up with me. Than she called me back after I left the store with the U-Haul that they said was the one for me and said I took the wrong one.

No directions outside for anyone returning a trailer. Drove up-guy outside never said a word. Went inside and waited online, only to finally be told I needed to talk to the guy outside. Then waves me vaguely to the other side of the lot to drop off the trailer. Try being a little more clear, or have a sign made up with some directions.

The manager (Jason) at this location was a total jerk, unprofessional, and unreasonable. He refused to extend my rental which makes no sense at all when U Haul is in the business of renting trucks to people. The longer I rent the more money Uhaul makes so it makes no sense at all. I called corporate and they were more than happy to help me out and extended my rental, which they did with no problems at all. Don't deal with Jason, go to another location where they will appreciate your business.

Manager there is very helpful! He assisted all day with any questions I had. Our checkin was long and difficult. Truck wasn’t ready but we were supposed to be able to check in with phone. Girl behind the counter was unpleasant, slow, and had poor attitude. She kept saying “I’m so tired”... we only had 3.2 miles to go as we were Just moving across the street, and the first time she asked mileage, I said 3.2 miles. She obviously didn’t believe me because she asked again with a rude, questionable one and asked “how many miles really?” Our experience with her specifically was unpleasant. We were later told she was new and needed to be patient, however our checkin took 45 minutes and her attitude doesnt account for her rudeness.
