joe W.I started off putting $227.21 down for a 3-day rental. One day after renting the truck, I received an additional bill for $60; turns out someone accidentally marked our truck as being returned ONE MINUTE after we departed with it, initiating the $60 charge. After returning the truck two days early to end this fiasco, another charge of $60 appears. (This, along with the other $60, Is supposed to cover the now $120 complete truck rental. I am informed that my $227.21 deposit will be returned. This did not happen. Instead, the charge (which came out of my account on the 27th) was never returned to me. This one day rental cost me over $400 when you include gas. Needless to say, I'm outraged and want my $300 deposit back pronto, or i will be forced to open a civil case. This is bullshit. Avoid this company at all costs. Incompetent staff will get you swindled, maybe not intentionally but due to a lack of empathy compounded with a wealth of indifferent apathy.

Angela I.I used the mobile app option to skip the line and get my keys faster and the woman working said she doesn't know what that is and get back in line even after showing her my phone screen with the instructions to skip the line and retrieve my keys. The next gentleman came out from the back and I showed him my app and he handed me the keys with no issue. Either the employee isn't educated enough or needs training to better assist customers.
Katlyn L.Ensure vehicle is clean. Exterior was muddy and dirty. Prior driver either vaped or smoked weed in the cabin as the odor was fairly pronounced. Given the rental agreement states vehicle must be returned clean, this provides an immediate disadvantage and open the possibility for charges that I wouldn't have been responsible for. The only plus was the U-Haul staff was friendly and seemed aware of this, so worked to ensure my concerns were noted before I left the lot with the vehicle.

Burton V.Inspect tires before renting. We were just lucky we didn't put this truck over the side of a mountain on I-65. I showed the general manager the tires when we returned truck, and he too couldn't believe the tires. He put the truck out of service for repairs. I will be seeking legal counsel for the return of the money I paid to have a life-threatening experience with your vehicle.

Douglas S.Marc at the front desk was very calm even though it got a little busy as he was checking in people. I had to wait a little bit but he got me taken care quickly once i got to the desk. Maybe having a bit more help so he isn't alone at the front would be something to look in to. Overall Marc was awesome and i didn't have any issues. Return was simple and quick

John S.I had some trouble uploading pictures of the chip in the windshield and some damage to the passenger side rear step when i picked up the truck , and had a lot of trouble uploading the picture of the dash when returning the truck tuesday night ... And I am still waiting to get my receipt ; otherwise everything went as well as usual ...
Paul N.I rented a 6 ft wide trailer because I needed to haul something with a 60 and a half inch wheelbase. After driving all over the state and getting there I lowered the ramp and realized the 57-in entrance to the ramp was not suitable and I couldn't fit the Can-Am Ryker into the trailer. It was a complete waste of my day I wasted a tank and a half of fuel and I still don't have the motorcycle. The entire rear should be able to open or be removed, this is a design flaw.

Neal W.5 stars. Very friendly, helpful, and polite. The only find I found at fault was the threshold of the door going into the building had a huge crack. The carts wouldn't go over it unless you picked up the cart/wheels to get over it. Inconvenience!

Kelsey L.The rental agreement I made was $19.95 a day. When I went to pick up the key the salesperson asked if I thought I'd have it back in 4 hours. I had very few things to move and said probably sooner, I know I won't need the whole day. He said great, if you think you'll be any longer than 4 hours just give me a call. I said ok. Of course, nothing goes as plans and there was a miscommunicaton with the guys helping me. I called and said, I'm going to need another hour and he told me I'd be charged for another full day. I said, no I rented it for the day, I don't need it a full 24 hours just another hour. He said, that's what everyone thinks but it's not $19.95 for 24 hours it's $19.95 for whatever we agree on. I told him, I thought we were making small talk. You never told me that our conversation was changing our agreement. Had you told me that I would have said, I have it for the day, I'll bring back as soon as I'm done. He was very rude to me and charged me for 2 days for a truck I had for less than 6 hours. The only reason I had it THAT long is because I was ticked off with him and went to lunch before bringing it back since he was charging me for full second day anyway. I did not feel like a valued customer at all. I was disrespected and cheated out of my money. Never again.

Y yo pensé que así de grande era el truck de dos cuartos así de grande sería el storage. Y no fue así estuve que poner la mitad de mis cosas y las de mis hijos en el storage y la otra mitad en mi carro y en un sótano.. Mi experiencia con todo el personal que me atendio fue muy buena. I feel the it could be a lot clearer how to find the storage location, that you should cut the tie wrap and proceed, that a name on the tag to confirm you are in the correct place. The guy checking in the vehicles in the back was very helpful!

Angela R. | Overall ExperienceThis is a very strange place. As you drive up you can see the doors for the storage units on the outside of the building, each with a unit number marked on it. But once you are there, it turns out they are fakes - just painted on a blank wall. The actual units are inside. A sign says that there is heat to keep it from dropping below 45 degrees, so if you have something that shouldn't freeze and the heater actually works that would be a good thing. The manager rented me a unit, had me pick a PIN and then led me to it. First he taught me to enter my PIN on the Check In/Out keypad, and then do it again on the Open Door keypad a few feet away. There's a notice on the Check In keypad that if you don't check out again when you leave, they will charge you a penalty fee. Then he told me I was in Section D, and led me to a staircase going up! I asked if there was a way to load in without climbing stairs, and he said there was a loading dock out back. The hallway needed someone to sweep and pick up empty bottles and such. The unit itself was swept clean, and was empty except for the rat poison dispenser. I don't know if every unit got one, or if I was just lucky. When I was ready to load in I parked at the loading dock and lifted my boxes up to it from my car. I used my PIN at two keypads to get in, opened the door - and there was a steep ramp leading from the dock to the storage level! There were carts I could use, at least. There were notices on them that I would be charged a penalty fee if I didn't put them back where I found them. I also saw that there were storage units along the ramp, the doors were at the same height as all the others, which meant that the bottom of the doors were anywhere from half a foot to four feet higher than the place you'd stand to load into them. You'd need a ladder to enter. Uh... A couple times I used the front door to enter the building instead of the loading dock. I did my business and then the door wouldn't let me out again! I tried crashing it open hard (I am not a light guy) and several different ways, but it wouldn't open. The first time this happened, I went and told the manager, and he said he knew there was a problem but they weren't able to get it fixed, and I should do whatever I had to get out when I needed to. The second time that I couldn't get it openI went out a door marked Emergency Exit Only, which took a lot of force but did open up eventually. There was a sign on it that anyone going out of it without an Emergency would be charged a penalty fee.
Gerald E. | Overall ExperiencePhysical access to my unit in door D is quite difficult for heavy items. The carts help, but the ramp is very steep. Getting the items to the bottom of the ramp is also a challenge unless you are using a truck that matches the dock height.

However an employee named Jared was amazing and bent over backwards to be helpful and problem solve when the computer system for self-storage wasn't working. He was apologetic for the behavior of his manager and did a great job smoothing things over with customers when his boss was rude and impatient with them. That kid deserves a raise.

I asked for a copy and was told it was an inter office email so I could not get one. fast forward 30 days and another invoice! I took it back into the store and I hope that it has been cancelled correctly. Ugh. Not really expecting to refer people there... it is even very close to home.

After getting a flat 9 mins from our location we had to wait 5 hours for roadside assistance because not only did it take almost an hour to just get a hold of someone they got our location wrong sent after waiting 2.5 hours then had to wait another hour for a guy when the job took less then 5 mins to fix. The office was poorly staffed and the assistance line was overwhelmed and understaffed.
