Originally went to 84th st location and management was very rude so I walked out. He was petty over where I parked. This location has a friendly staff that was very helpful with every aspect of the rental from checkout to return.. we will use this facility for all of our future needs..

This pickup location was not the location I received in the rental confirmation email and I never received and email or phone call notifying me the pickup location was different. I went to the pickup location on the rental confirmation and then had to go to a second location to pickup my rental.

Someone at uhaul frequently charged my card for a drop off date and time that I did not do. My card was clearly stolen by someone at uhaul and charged it over one thousand dollars. I picked up and dropped off a truck back in 10/31 and I was done. Now on 11/16, I see the charge for over one thousand dollars. I received a receipt through email showing there was a drop off 15 days after 10/31, that I did not do. I am never using uhaul again and I would never recommend uhaul because there are thieves working for them.

reservation was booked for 190 SW Eighth St. Miami, FL 33130. On day of pick up I was informed that the truck was not available at this location and made me drive all the from Brickell to Doral 30 minutes out of the way and resulted in toll fees. If my reservation was at the original location I picked, I wouldn't have had accumulated any toll fees because I-95 is toll free. Please waive this invoice of $4.64 for the inconvenience and lack of communication. Unacceptable!

I don't want to leave a bad survey but I've rented a lot of equipment from U-Haul I even have a storage facility but this is the first time I used a different location I rented a trailer for one day I used it for four hours and was double billed they said I didn't bring the trailer back for two days and also double billed me for boxes I will call customer service line today and see what we can fix

I did not get 10 blocks down the road before the trailer bounced off the ball. It dropped down onto the safety chains, thankfully. The technician did not fasten the trailer to the hitch ball. I fixed it myself. I will double check the trailer before I drive off with another trailer.

Train your customer service representatives how to be professional. The women have horrible attitudes. They are angry and very hostile. They lack effective communication skills. I did not feel valued as a customer.

Horrible service, truck was not available or assigned when I reached to the location. Had to call the customer service 3x as the first 2x I was hung up in. Waited outside the location for 1 hour and half only to be told to drive to a different location to obtain a truck. I was told that I would not be charged by the mile or gas, however when I returned the truck I was charged over 150 just for miles and gas. I missed a funeral due to this inconvenience. Very unhappy with the service, brought extra stress during my move that I did not need. I would not recommend the company or location PERIOD!

First, I didn't book THIS location. I booked the State Road 84 location, AND paid for a hotel across yhe street from that location. The morning of pickup, I received an email that my pickup location changed to the W Broward location, so I had to pay for an Uber - cost me $15. Second, the truck was BROKEN. Extremely horrible crunching noise from front driver wheel. I reported it when I dropped it off. Because I had to go out of my way to the alternate pickup location, I did not have time to go back and switch equipment. The movers I booked through your site were over an hour and a half late. Because I had to be at the drop off location by a certain time, I had to load half the truck BY MYSELF. I paid for three (3) guys to help me. I worked for two and a half hours ALONE; they worked for 30 minutes. WHAT THE FUCK?! I am extremely unhappy with UHaul and I will most likely never use your service again. UHaul cost ME time AND money. I'd like a refund or a credit.

The ladies at front are very rude I was in line and I was asking some information to a person that was working there when she called and I did not hear and the guy behind me went at front of me and she did not say anything when I asked that was my turn she didn't care and when my time came up I get at front and it happened that it was a lady that she was in front of me but she was attending with another agent and sent me back to the lane I don't think thats fare it was very much a racist situation

Arrive at my scheduled pick up time. Their organizational skills was aweful selerate lines every which ah way. Walked to collect my one way rental and as the uhaul rep opened the back of the truck... roaches went scurrying. Truck was unaturally filthy. She said oh it looks like they didnt clean - just pull up and ill have them clean it out... So i did as instructed but told her i cannot have that truck if there are roaches. - i pull up and a guy asked me for my key- to which i told him this isnt a return... he knodded n proceeded to xheck gas/ milage.. etc.. i saod agaim this is not a return... he proceeded any way He said id be xharged for cleaning. As it was left dirty.. again i stated this is not a return.. i am here to get this truck today.. it is disgustingly filthy - it needs cleaning.. The inside of the truck had frenchfries/ dirt/ grime everywhere.. i told him about the roaches... He used a high pressure air hose in the cargo portion and cabin and then just sprayed some liquid something om the floor and didnt wipe anything... he proceeded to tell me he didnt see any... and that ill be fine. I go back inside - becaaue i have zero paperwork.. the aldy says she gave it to me To which i said no hun.. u told me to pull the truck up for cleaning thats all... so after another 10 or min . She give me a 1 page " contact" No ome walked me thru the external damages on the truck or checked condition of inside.. nothing Just sent me on my way. Pick up.time 10 am - left uhaul at 12 pm with my rental 2 hours of time lost... Got back to.my house and left back of truck ooen for a while to make sure no more roaches... even sprayed the inside with spectrum home bug defense... and waitied another 30.min to try and make sure...

I made a reservation for pick up and drop off in two different places. When I showed up they told me they had no trucks available after I had a confirmed reservation. I had to get a way bigger truck than I needed and return it where I picked it up instead of the reservation I had. Moving isn't something you can just put off for another day because oh well no trucks. Staff was very nice but the reservation system seems very flawed and almost really screwed up my move. The three stars is for the staff being great with customer service and the lady who did my rental giving me the bigger truck for the price of the truck I reserved.

After hour return. I returned the vehicle around 7:15. There were still employee on the ground. However, when I tried to do the online return, I ran into difficulties. When I asked the employee on duty for assistance, I was told that he had no idea about the return. When it prompt that it would send a verification code through email it didn't. After reviewing my email this morning, 3 verification code came in around 11pm. I did change to send verification code through text. Once I didn't that, it then asked me access to my location via my phone. My location was not blocked. Again, no assistance from employee that was there. I realized he probably was ready to go home, so was I after loading and unloading furniture since 12pm. I just put the key in the box& took pictures of the dashboard, expected the truck. Went home. Just a little more above and beyond customer's service does a world of different. When I picked up the truck all parties involved were excellent. I would use this location again as we all need a second chance & can't judge a place by one incident.

I was charged for a storage that I was told by the manager that I would not have to pay the the storage that I was moved from and then I was charged for a dolly that I never received and also the manager told me that he would take care of and didn't. So I would never recommend this Uhaul or storage. HORRIBLE

My overall subpar experience at this location can be approved with a better hiring profile. The staff that I've had the most unfortunate interaction with, don't seem to have graduated high school or barely skated by. I understand various unpredictable emotions have been promoted due to the pandemic. However, basic friendly (even if it's fake) communication is so lacking with the staff I've interacted with handling my storage needs. When I first arrived to this location after a lovely drive from Dallas, Texas (with my 6' x 12' Van Trailer attached to my Kia Sportage - contract # 23023104), Alicia Mitchell made a clerical error with my return date. No biggie, it can be resolved and the $80 overcharge was later refunded. My contact person's name was entered incorrectly because Alicia didn't bother to confirm the information. I understand it can be slightly difficult to understand someone who's wearing a mask, if you don't care to try. I'm an epidemiologist and I work in hospitals where we communicate clearly with masks on, while tending to patients lives. She could have turned her screen for me to view the information and confirm its accuracy, or printed out a document to confirm with me but, that's the past. Again, no biggie, but she failed to confirm my access code number. That long drive from Dallas by myself was quite taxing. Here I am ready to unload all my stuff, just need to open the door. But here's Alicia complicating a simple procedure that kindergarteners can do with ease. The issue was later resolved. My last interaction with the staff at this location finally came September 4, 2020. Contract 788052-117382 for all the deets. I had the utmost displeasure to be served by Zaria Johnson. She asked how she could help me and for my name. She located me in her computer and asked me if I knew I had to be there by 12pm. I told her, "no, I just flew in". She replies, "oh you flew here, from where?". Perplexed, not understanding the relevance of this; I tell her "Virginia". She continues, "Oh well you were suppose to be here by 12pm". I chuckle while saying, "well I got here when I got here" and I shrugged my shoulders (It's about 3pm at the time). She directs me to where I can pull my car to, and I remind her (because paying attention is seemingly not a requirement in the hiring profile for the employees I interacted with), that I don't have a car, I have a unit here. Which she should have seen in her system when she located me, but Zaria doesn't do well with paying attention. If she had, she should have been able to conceptualized that I was emptying out unit 1313, transporting those items to the U-Box and moving it to Virginia. Subsequently, she would have informed me that once I empty out my storage unit, utilize that same lock to lock my U-Box when I'm finished. But! That didn't happen. I was not informed I needed to lock the U-Box. When she walked me and my brother to the U-box (after, I suppose, her attempt to chastising me for being "late", not sure - didn't ask didn't care, fresh off the plane and we had a full storage unit to empty; in the 90 degree heat as we walked to their garage, where Zaria showed us where the U-Box is), she removed the velcored tarp from the box, opened the box and said here you go and went back inside. No instructions. No "come back inside to check out or be sure to do this", nothing no instructions whatsoever. So when I received a voice message from the manager Michael Brown the following day - after I returned back home to Virginia, that my U-Box needed a lock, I just knew these mini property managers that work here do not have the proper hiring profile to do this job successfully. I will say that Michael Brown was very attentive and patient when listening to me about my experience with his staff. To remedy the issue with the lock, he provided a lock free of charge for the U-Box, and I made arrangements for the key to be delivered to me. I appreciate him for this and for acknowledging the bad customer service that he wasn't pleased to hear about. It should come as no surprise that I will never return to this location, and even though I live in Virginia, I will most definitely tell others not to come here - if they can avoid it.

The unit was very small for all that money. I'm disappointed the door had problem from day one. They replaced the doors before I removed my stuff and I found a lamp shade of mine very dirty. Never using your storage facility again.

The parking lot is way too crowded. I had a drive up unit that was always blocked by Uhual equipment. It was very difficult to maneuver through the parking lot, in order to load and unload- I had to keep moving my car to allow people by. For the month rental, I may have actually driven up to my unit a total of two times. It’s just way too crowded and inconvenient for a unit to be priced for almost $200 a month.

The light nearest my storage unit was activated by motion. When I would visit my storage to remove/add items, I would have to stop frequently to activate the light. A non-motion light could fix this.
