The staff was very unprofessional. The clerk told me to wait outside and someone would assist me. Well I had to go back in and let them know I was still waiting on someone to come. I’ve rented a few trailers and a truck from this location in the past. The customer service is absolutely terrible. But it’s the only place to rent a trailer so I have to go there. The black ladies that work there apparently do not like white people. 2 out of the 4 times I’ve been there I’ve heard the refer to white people as “crackers” or “f***ing crackers”. There was almost a fist fight today because a young black man skipped the whole line and the 4 Spanish people in front of me started yelling. The manager came out and told them that it was ok. Like I previously said, I only go there out of complete necessity.

Very bad experience. Dropped off my trailer and was told I would receive a confirmation that same day. Never received confirmation had to call back the next day 3 separate times. I never received a confirmation. Asked to speak with a manager twice and both times was unable to and a manager never called me back. Did not receive a confirmation until three days after the drop off. Issue still unresolved.

Turned out check in was done in the parking lot. Perhaps they were busy, but no one was there to greet and direct how to return the trailer. Attendant inside at the desk was more interested in playing on her phone than helping. Difficult to drive around to get out due to people in their storage rooms, staff moving equipment, narrowness of rows, and other equipment. Very crowded.

I ended up at that location because my preferred location was changed. Although I had selected for TEXT notifications, I received an EMAIL informing me of the change. Then when I got to the changed location there was no record of my rental confirmation in their computer, because nothing was in the computer they had a problem finding a truck that I was able to take.

I rented this past Wednesday and Saturday a 6×12 closed trailer. Excellent rental service. Trailer setup was nice. Staff was friendly and fast. Uhaul only way to go. Will always continue to do business with them.

Every reservation I made had Issues because they didn’t have a box or they rented out the truck I had already reserved. Money was taken from my account that I had to dispute more than once to get the money back when it was the company’s fault for not getting my box. The employees in this location however were amazing help and so patient with me. I had spent hours with them multiple days trying to fix my reservations. But I will never use uhaul again for any move and will pay the extra money to go elsewhere to make sure the job gets done the correct way the first time.

I found this place too far from my location which obviously affected total bills. Apart from this , it was over all good experience. However i have some basic question regarding billing- We bills for three different type of things while someone rent UHaul and those are- - Rent for a Day - Payment per Mile - Gas what consumed and then insurance is separate case. I DO NOT understand why all three type of billing you charge to customer. I believe if someone renting UHaul then definitely he/she will use it for some miles, no one is going to rent and keep it parked only! My point is if someone is renting then there should be some miles as MINIMUM MILES with daily renting charges. Otherwise it is not making sense. Thanks for all the services you provides!

Truck was very rough riding. This location did not have another truck and did not have staff to get another truck for me. The representative Leslie tried very hard to help me but was unable to do so. When I went to another location to get another truck there was a delay because your traffic department gave incorrect information to both locations on how to assist me. This delayed my move by another day. I had to return the original truck after filling it with gas and was supposed to receive a credit however I did not.

The trailer was in terrible condition with old tires and straps. I had a blowout on I95. Luckily I was able to control the vehicle and there was no irreversible damage to myself or the car on your trailer Furthermore the right wheel strap snapped while in transit. Had to go buy straps to tie up the car. Called U-Haul and they sent someone out quite promptly to change the tire. I was late for my delivery and had to keep the trailer overnight Got charged for an extra day and got refunded only by complaining. It would’ve been a great gesture on U-Hauls part to credit the total for the terrible experience overall or any other gesture for that matter. I have used you many times and it’s been good except for this one.

Absolutely terrible customer service. From the moment I pulled in, the staff was rude. From the lady at the counter throwing the paperwork at me to the employee telling me that it's not his problem I cant find anywhere to park. I will no longer be a uhaul customer as of this experience. Terrible experience. If I could rate the staff there i would give them a 0. After getting the paperwork I asked the guy if he was able to pull up the truck. He took the keys, found the truck, started and left it there in the middle of the parking lot. Disorganized, rude and could care less about customer service. Very disappointed to say the least. I will be leaving a review on Google as well to help people avoid this location.

The truck i rented had a few issues it jumped from 1st gear to 3rd gear... But luckily i was only moving a few items... The staff is great no matter how tough or long the day maybe... A customer was giving the lady at the desk a rough time but she handled it great... Im still waiting for my reimbursement for my rental but all in all it was ok

You're lacking in efficiency. Every check-in is prolonged with sending text link for ID. You should of by now be able to have a data bank large enough to store that infomation at least for a month. I hate the notion of doing the same s--t everytime...even a day ago. I just want to get in and get out. Stop the ninty nine questions if I have already been a customer. You store my phone number; then store my ID too.

Time turn around I seem to be on the site for half an hour picking up and then half an hour dropping off. I pay my guys by the hour and therefore waste money every time I pick up a U-Haul. So no I’m not happy.

I simply rented a trailer for one day returned it the afternoon of the same day that I rented it on spoke with the attendant he told me to leave it there. The technician who uninstalled the trailer was very friendly and professional. My only issue is I need a bigger trailer for the return trip. I was going to haul two motorcycles back to Tampa, but the open trailer that would haul them can't be used for one way tows. The enclosed trailer that could have worked doesn't have a ramp to get the bikes loaded. Why can't the open trailer that can carry two bikes be used for one way ??

The service was excellent unfortunately I did not mark the word excellent in till the problem I'm having is solved, I will say the young lady that helped us was definitely on top of her game an excellent... The unfortunate problem which I am sure it was a mistake on behalf of U-Haul... That when I returned the truck I had brought it to the level of 1/2 a tank , 1/8 of a tank above the amount of fuel that was recorded on the contract .... I was charged $15 extra for fuel .... I contacted U-Haul immediately. Currently looking into the incident and I will provide them with the gas receipt which can be balanced with the type of mileage that was used ...... but U-Haul overcharged me .... I'm expecting the credit need to be more conscious the situation as this is a waste of my time.

Was set to pickup at a different location. They changed locations on me so had to Uber from one location to the other. When I got to new location I asked about the $50 guarantee and they shrugged me off. The truck I got had passenger door damage so bad it wouldn’t close properly and window wouldn’t work. The guy who checked me in was nice enough but manager on seemed to care less. Biggest issue is don’t guarantee something that you don’t actually provide and don’t rent trucks that have clearly been in a serious accident.

I was not happy with the $34 charges for fuel when i received a truck that was in "E" and took my time to put gas before i went to pick up my appliances that i bought. I returned the truck with almost 1/4 tank of fuel. Which is much better than what i received, but still i was unfairly charged for the fuel. Very disappointing. If i have known, i would have pick up the truck that had fuel already and no wasted my time in going to look for gas. If it was explained to me, perhaps, i misunderstood the young friendly girl that attended me.

I was given a pick up truck that had a rear windshield recently replaced, blue tape was on the windshield. When the door closed, the windshield shattered and eventually fell out. Since I had insurance, they refused to accept that the windshield was either incorrectly put in or the truck was rented to soon after the repairs. I was charged $199.00. I didn't break the windshield. I'd like to be reimbursed the charges. Thanks

Very rude customer service reps. Both at the branch and call center. Not the girl or manager that initially drew up my contract; but the one that called me from the branch and the one from the call center. Again, not everyone was unprofessional. Just those two. The manager was pushing it, but she was ok and helpful in the end.

I reserved a truck online a week prior to the date needed. I arrived to location 15 minutes in-order to give myself extra time, because I was unable to check in via your site due to site problems as I was told when I called the location to confirm my reservation. I waited in line for 1 hour before reaching the counter and being told my reservation was canceled because I was late also that there were no more trucks available. I informed the girl at the counter I had been waiting in-line for 1 hour, and the rest of the customers could confirm, she did not care. After she informed me there were no more of the size truck I reserved I asked if I could get another size truck her reply was "no, there is nothing I can do for you, we have no more trucks". I asked her for the number to customer service she told me to call the store number she would forward the call to customer service and began to walk away. I quickly called for her attention and asked to speak to a manager, which her response was "that'is fine but there is nothing they can do either." She informed me the manager was busy and I would have to wait, I let her know I would wait. The manager Michael came over reviewed the reservation and informed myself and the employee that my reservation was not canceled it was just unassigned. He instructed her on what she needed to do but then decided to handle it himself, which I am very grateful he did. Michael was able to fix the issue with the reservation, upgrade me and get me into a truck within 20 minutes. My reservation time was 10:00 am (I called earlier that morning and pushed it to 10:30 am) and I did not leave the location until 12:00 pm. This was my first time renting from UHaul and although Michael saved the day it will be my last.

The staff at the location was very friendly and knowledgable. After completing my check-out process at the desk, it took about 10-15 minutes to get my truck. The truck was relatively clean. The steering wheel is worn out to nearly the steel ring and it leaves dark foam material on your hands. The return experience was not so smooth. Again, all the staff was super friendly and helpful, but it seemed there just weren't enough staff to check-in all the trucks being return and was grid-locked with a line of trucks stretching back into the street. It too me 15 minutes of walking around before I found a staff to check-in my truck. Again, the staff outside and inside were very nice and helpful,, just didn't seem to be enough outside staff.

Had a reservation to pick up a U-Haul at 2800 West Broward Boulevard. Received an email saying it has been changed to a different location got to the location and was told there were no trucks available was then sent to another location no trucks available finally after getting on the phone speaking with someone and customer service was able to go to 2800 West Broward and pick up a truck. The whole process took about four hours I had to Uber around each location it's and finally when I got the U-Haul the sun was just about to go down had to rent a hotel in order to empty out my storage the following day horrible horrible experience. I had to take off work because I had to spend additional time in Fort Lauderdale. Once I got to Sarasota 1159 Central Ave what's toll the gas was not fulfilled then the authorized agent stated that he refused to accept the truck with the keys in his hand and agreement in his hand he told me to take the truck back he's not going to accept it I told him no I was going to contact customer service. He was screaming and yelling at the top of his lungs in front of the customers I felt like the bottom of the ocean. I'm not sure if I'll ever recommend anybody to U-Haul horrible horrible experience from the beginning till the end had to call to get everything rectified unacceptable from such big company.

We got there around 1130 that morning, was not able to leave until almost 1pm due to the extension that needed to go on my van as the hitch was too low. after 40 min, another one was brought out and I still had to jack up the vehicle to get my bike on the trailer, The workers said they could not help unless we were charged to have them help, a police officer that was waiting helped me get it done.. The line in the office was very long with only two people at the counter had us waiting another 40 min. So even though we eventually got out of there and made it up north way late, the service was only OK, and the workers not that knowledgeable or helpful.

Better training for new hires to carefully and thoroughly follow policy and procedures when registering equipment at your location as well as the designated location for long distance travel. This will protect both the company and the customer who may be unaware of proper protocol from future confusion and the hassle of trying to correct mistakes after the fact. This saves both time and money on both ends.

More thorough training for new hires on company policy. Customers should be made aware of different options if any that best suits their particular needs. There should also be an emphasis on making sure that the reps understand the importance of registering equipment traveling out of the area. Always assume that the customer is not aware of what proper protocol is. It creates much less confusion and a smoother transition for both parties especially the customer who does not know Uhaul's company policies.

no signage on where to go hard to get in and out of trailers and truck everywhere, its like an obstacle course. if you are not used to driving a trailer or truck would be extremely hard to return. i have rented Uhaul's for years never really had a problem, I must admit I was extremely disappointed.

The woman who helped me check in was a bit rough and told me I was rude for putting my credit card and ID down on the table instead of handing it to her. I meant to harm in doing this, had my hands full and sincerely did not mean to rub her the wrong way in doing that. Aside from this everyone was very helpful and accommodating.
