I did not rent any equipment. My email address is being used as a reference by an illegitimate user. I called Uhaul about this when I received an email about the pickup of the vehicle. I don't know who this person is. I did not find any charges on my credit cards but it concerns me that they use a part of my identity.

I use this before. This time the young guy behind the counter was rude, talked so fast and low while giving instructions. Like he was hating his job and on extremely fast auto pilot. Both guys that were there wanted me to check in with my phone. It has not been working and I explained that over and over. What happened to customer service???!!!

No improvement necessary, at least not for me. Everyone was helpful, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable about the U-Haul product. I ALWAYS go to the U-Haul on Oracle because of ALL of the representatives, especially Hal. What a nice fella. Melanie helped me with the reservation, and Jesue (I think that was his name) drove the truck to get ready for the next rental. THANK YOU TO ALL!

Overall the Experience was an Above Average rating. UHAUL Tecnitions did a great job intalling a hitch on my 2021 Prius Prime. To do the job properly they had to remove the rear bumper to make room to install the hitch. It took a lillte more time to install, however the end result was an excellent Job,

I am very disappointed. I asked for 24 hour rental, was only given a 4 hour rental. When I realized this I called to talk to someone. She told me I had no choice but to return it to the location cause it was needed. The location was closed an hour before it supposed to. I left trailer. Upon arrival called customer service again and they told me not to worry about returning and keep the 24 hours. I was already at drop off location so dropped off the trailer. Overall very frustrating, misleading, and not as I expected.

The attendant should actually take the time to explain the vehicle return process and not to make it obvious that she is inconvenienced by the presence of the customer. Her explanations were - I will send you the link and you can watch the video and return the vehicle. Well, it was not nearly that simple, not to mention that the app did not retain any information and if any edits were needed, one was brought back to begin the return forms all over. Overall, this is a great system for the company and a lousy one for the customer - we don;t do crap and you do our work for us. There is no "customer" anywhere in the "customer service" here.

I think the guy who took care of us was named Hal and he was fantastic. He was that great guy who treated you respectfully and knew what he was doing and was very efficient with the process. My wife and I comment on what a great guy he was. He wasn't over the top he was just the right amount of friendly/professional that you would want to have take you. Thanks for hiring him. He definitely made our experience better.

Very difficult to reach a real person by phone. The automated answer just keeps going in circles once you press 5 for hitches. I had to call 5 times to reschedule my appointment and only then got to the national center by opting 0 and was lucky enough to get someone live.

Found out after pickup that both panels were not secured properly, the passenger side rear brake like was not secured at all causing me to lose the trim. A panel on the left had a screw broken that did not allow the bumper cover to be secured completely. That's just what I have seen. I hope the rest of the installation was done properly.

I asked if I could get a refund for one day since I did not use the 2 days. I was denied. I thought that I was going to need the 2 days. If I was one hr or more I could understand. But I was eary in returning unit. I know if I was later I would occured addition expense.

We were told the gas tank was at 1/4. It was in the red zone for empty! We went back inside the building to let them know. They said to take a picture. They should of walked out with us and viewed it themselves. They took our word for it. We brought it back with a 1/4 tank!!!!!

UHaul HQ changed the drop off location we requested without our consent. I'm not an employee of U-Haul. I'm not going to drive your truck to a location that you need it. I'm being charged by the miles and paying for fuel. I want to return the vehicle to the location I chose. Not some random location that UHaul needs the truck for another customer. That's inconsiderate and horrible customer service. I called into UHaul TWICE to correct this after receiving a random automated text message. I asked the U-Haul customer service to change my drop off and they stated ok and it's done but the morning of drop off ...it still shows the wrong location in my amazing UHaul app. I called the location I wanted to drop off to directly and they assisted me. Very frustrating, a waste of time

I think your $19.95 + milage special is misleading. Bill ended up being $48. Vehicle was a gas guzzler, Almost a 1/4 tank of gas to go 9.2 miles. I had your truck for all about 45 min. I did agree to the insurance, but the rest of the bill was excessive...

The number I called in the morning Saturday the 5th of January gave me bad information. The lady who answered had our "Contract number", name, address, etc. and told us the "hitch" for our bike rack was in and that we could take it down to the u-Haul at 4655 N. Oracle Rd. and have it installed. When I arrived there at around 8:40, the manager said it was NOT in yet but that the Fed Ex delivery was expected by 9:00 AM. I waited until about 9:20 and checked to see if the Fed Ex delivery had brought the hitch in and was told that It probably wouldn't be there until 10:00. I did some errands and came back but the delivery was still not there. Finally around 11;15, it had arrived and when I came back from lunch across the street, it was "in process". When it was finally done, I went out to pick up my car and drive home and upon looking at the installed hitch I determined that it was a 2" and fortunately I had my THUNE bike rack in the back of my Nissan Murano and went back in to tell the manager that I obviously needed some kind of adapter to make it work. He very kindly provided me one, but had I not had the bike rack in the back of my vehicle, I would have had to make yet another trip down to the U-Haul place from my home in Oro Valley - about 20 minutes north. It should not have to take a whole morning to have this work done. They should have known what kind of hitch I needed for this type of bike rack that I told them I had. I should not have been told by your phone contact person that things were ready to go and install when they weren't!

The worst customer service experience I've ever been a part of. The employee, Alexis, was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my time. She was verbally abusive and unhelpful in all scenarios. She did not check with me on my comfort with the equipment and ensure that I would be able to safely operate with the trailer. I will never rent from this location ever again.

I called to make a reservation and when I came in the rates were not what was quoted. When I got home I found there was a hole in the time. They must have filled up right before I left (THEY KNEW THERE WAS A HOLE). Took truck back ant they couldnt be bothered to help said i needed to call the road side. Brought truck in they said was all good. Billed me for cleaning $100 (said there was a cigarette butt????). I called to ask about cleaning fee and the incorrect billing and was told that i should call back. I have rented from Uhaul in many areas and this location has had horrible service both time I went there.

I have to provide a third-party person verification by phone. This is difficult because the phone call is sometimes met only with voice mail. There needs to be several alternative verification options to choose from to avoid problems. I check in online only to arrive and be told I need someone to vouch for me. It is useless and insulting.

Unless you I was given a truck that you can't move the mirrors so I really couldn't see for correctly while driving, I returned the vehicle with a quarter of a tank more than what I received it as, so I really wasn't credited for helping them out. However the general manager he was cool

I just rented a vehicle which reflected a full tank. The vehicle was driven 17 miles and required 9.121 gallons of gas to top the tank off! The person at check in seemed to careless and never slowed feeding his fat face with sunflower seeds. To add insult to injury, he was unable to provide me a receipt advising of computer wasn't working.

We were directed to this location on the U-Haul website for a 9" Van. When I arrived, 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, there were no vans available! The U-Haul Rep said I could wait 2 hours for one to be returned. Why would I be directed to a location where my vehicle choice is not available? This error added time to my agenda AND I didn't get what I ordered.

Had our belongings in storage for 3 years. After the first year they had a fire in the unit directly across from ours yet NEVER contacted us so we could go check on our belongings and we didn’t find out for almost 3 months. We had items melted and smoke damage but they said nothing they could do and would not give me a report on the fire for my insurance, so I lost about 4,000$ worth of items. Then shortly after that incident they changed from being 24/7 to closing early… never emailed and notified us or anything and we went to get items one night and was unable to get to our items. Plus they are always extremely busy yet seem to only have one person working which does not cover it. Even when I moved out I had to wait 30+ minutes just to hand over keys. On top of all this they keep trying to charge wrong card entire time we were there although we did try changing it numerous times. Yet they still kept charging wrong one and not getting payments then charging me late fees for 3 years. If I had help or money to move I would have. I am glad to be out of there and will never return.

I was there for awhile trying to upgrade to a bigger storage unit. I was the only customer in the store and it took the rep half an hour to figure it out. Once he finally “found” a unit, that unit had someone else’s things. I didn’t find that out until I went back on Saturday to look at the inside of the unit. Since then I’ve emailed them twice to refund me the insurance I paid for initially and I still haven’t heard back. They weren’t able to cancel my unit because the store manager, Hal wasn’t there. Alexis was kind enough to call another u-haul to check availability. It didn’t get cancelled until the following week after their rep Melanie called me a few times to ask me if I still wanted the unit and that it had been emptied. Totally unacceptable to rent storage units that haven’t been cleaned out. I will not return to this location ever again.

It's ridiculous you have to go to the store to talk to someone there. Phone Always routes to automated messaging that doesn't address local questions. Also, my card for entry never worked. Last, the price went up too much so I got out of there asap. Manager was great, some of the staff...so,so.

I had another U-haul storage space which I had reserved in March 2022 at the U-haul storage facility located at 450 N. Freeway in Tucson, because this is where I rented a moving truck, auto-carrier trailer and indoor storage unit as I was relocating from San Diego, CA and moving to Tucson, Arizona. When I finally arrived in Tucson to return the truck, trailer and off load the contents of the truck, I was notified that "there's no reservation on file for you here, we don't have anything available". I told this customer service representative that he was mistakened, why would I have pre-paid for an moving help service to meet me here to un-load the truck, and they're outside getting paid to do nothing! "I was told to contact U-haul customer service, because there was nothing he could do". So, I called the 800-468-4285 number and was placed on hold for an unnecessary extended period of time, in order to get some help. Finaly, I was connected to an call center customer service agent that I had to explain the entire story and situation to, before she could begin to assist me. The best solution that could be done at such short notice, and to allow for the very limited time I still had remaining on the paid help, was for me to be sent to the U-haul storage facility on Oracle Road which is an outside storage facility. I did not have any other option at this point, so I had them contact that office before they closed and notify them that I was on my way. When I and the moving helpers arrived, I meet the U-haul customer service representative to sign the rental contract, purchase a lock, locate the storage unit and attempted to drive the truck to the rental unit. This may have gone much faster if the storage facility had not recently had a fire inside a storage unit which took out the lights in the yard which made finding the unit and unloading the truck extremely difficult. By the time we found the unit and placed one item inside, my time was up for the paid moving help. I locked the unit and never returned until I moved out last month.

Nobody explained the in/out process. I was told to swipe to get in but that was it. I thought I would roll my car toward the gate and it would open, nope!! I was stuck inside. I was able to flag down a staff member and he told me were the keypad was to swipe to get out.

Pest control could be better, with better door sealants in place. Opened it up and saw it became home to moths and crickets, which is hard to avoid, just think a better door for the unit could help. Had a trap inside for mice but wasn’t sure how helpful it was.

The general manager (Hal) had a cocky, I don't care attitude. Like he was on power trip. When I asked him if they had a dumpster for the tenants to use, he said yes. But it'll cost ya $15. All I had were 2 boxes (that were torn-down/flattened), plus 1 (15 gallon) bag of garbage. For $15?? He told me if I didn't want to pay, I could dump it next store (in their dumpster). I thought, Wow, that ain't right!? Now, this is after I just spent $1400 on a 15' truck (plus another $450 in gas) to move across country. Only to find out when I arrived that all my stuff, at the back 5' of the truck...was all wet on the bottom. By the way...he acknowledged that. It's just the principal of the whole thing. But I have to keep telling myself, that most people DONT CARE ABOUT PRINCIPALS. All they care about...US MONEY.
