I had to come to this U-Haul location to get equipment that they are dealer did not have it was further away from my home and the staff when we picked up the items was not very friendly and kind of rude. I left a tin that had money in the uhaul when I returned it. I went back 30 min later and it wasnt there and everyone there denied seeing it including the woman who processed the return. Up front pricing! There was changes made and when I called to extend my rental no info was given about closing the current account. If I would have know that charging my card more twice due to closing and adding extra day. Multiple holes was placed on my card a lot of funds was held up just for this rental also they are still charging me even as of today and I paid thought I paid everything for when I made the settlement of the current of the recent account. Made this experience very difficult and different. I have been using U-Haul for years and didn't have this problem from the locations in NorfolkDARLEENYVONNE D.

When we first picked up the truck, the male and female behind the counter had poor customer service - didn't greet us upon entering, spoke in an annoyed and monotones voice, and had no sense of urgency. The App check-in process was ridicules. It took over 35 minutes after submitting my credentials. I actually received access to the vehicle around 8:45. Which should have changed my drop off time. Tell potential customers method of payment. I did not know I had to have a credit card so I used my debit card foolishly, but only had enough for the initial payment. Upon returning the truck I learned they took out the amount for the mileage thus overdrawing my account. I am not happy about that. The no contact check in was a joke. I spent 10 minutes trying to take a picture of a tiny bar code on a MOVING door. Had to have an employee complete the transaction inside. Truck was just under the Full line but there was no way to see the gauge while pumping the gas so it was returned completely topped off. I rented the truck because it was raining and we couldn't get our stuff wet but the truck LEAKED terribly ruining books, toys and some clothes. The transmission seemed to drag and not change heard even when empty. I was afraid the motor was going to blow. When I brought this to the attey of the employee when I returned the truck, the manager would not come out to talk to me. She told the employee to have me call the insurance company. I reserved a truck online, by my house only to get a call hours later thating I had to drive 5 miles further to get a truck. Really u-haul??SHARONANN D.
The truck had to be sanitized by myself, seat dirty forms of debris on the seat at the cabin had to be wiped down and seemed dusty like it hadn't been cleaned. When signing in the person that signed us in didn't give us complete directions ,it was as if you had to figure it out on your own and when I questioned it the reply was yes non-contact procedure which should have been explained once we r received the paper work. The second link explained it BUT to talk to the customer through it would have made for a better transaction.Linwood b W.
